Slow, boring, and drowning in romance novel cliches.
Could barely make it through the wedding; gave up soon thereafter. Slow and boring. Too many romance novel cliches. Too much first person narration, and not enough action and dialogue. I like to see a story unfold, not have one of the characters *in* the story *tell* me a story. Did I mention that there were TOO MANY RN cliches? I'll mention it again. The whole first and second chapters are trite and contrived. I just couldn't put any more time reading this absolutely unbelievable and boring story.

After the loss of his father he knew it was time for him to marry. Arabella is a blessing for his Mother and clan. With his brother's help they will be able to survive the upcoming battle. Suspenseful, loving, with wisdom from within. Will be checking out this authors other works.
Only one sided when it comes to POV's and I kinda would have liked to see Anabelle's POV as she seemed like a strong women that you, sadly, sometimes do see in a romance book. But all in all good book with good character development when it comes to Caside.
I can truly say this is one of the best books I have read in a long while. All the characters were very real, the story was very well told. You feel like you are there and rooting for the best outcome. Bravo!!!
