Three years ago, Stacie Vandercoy was stuck undercover in Iraq for six months with Jeff “Rock Star” Lennon, the arrogant SEAL who thought he was God’s gift to women. But he couldn’t have her. Fraternization is against the rules. And still is as they infiltrate home-grown terrorism in Norfolk, Virginia. Can she continue to resist him? Does she have to?
Jeff Lennon had been forced to do things he didn’t like as a Navy SEAL, and now as an agent for the terrorist division of Homeland Security’s Border Patrol. For years, his only real regret has been what he couldn’t to do to Stacie back in Iraq. He’s been given another chance to claim her heart, body and soul. In the meantime, they have to stop a terrorist attack somewhere in the Norfolk area, during Fleet Week.
Even the agency’s psychologist isn’t sure Stacie can pull off pretending to be Jeff’s wife. What lengths will Stacie and Jeff go to assure the mission’s success? And what will they both lose in the process?
KaLyn Cooper’s romances blend fact and fiction with blazing heat and heart-pounding suspense. Twenty-two years as a military wife has shown KaLyn the world, and thirty years in PR taught her that fact can be stranger than fiction. She leaves it up to the reader to separate truth from imagination. She, her husband, and bird dog live in Tennessee on a micro-plantation filled with gardens, cattle, and quail. When she’s not writing, she’s at the shooting range or on the river.
Stacie Vandercoy and Jeff Lennon are teamed up for another undercover mission. They’re both excellent operatives in their own rights, but their last mission went sideways and both bear some emotional scars and some guilt over how things went down. Stacie is typically a by-the-rules person, so the thought of acting in their fierce attraction despite the clearly stated no-fraternization directive went against everything in her. Except this time the project lead and the team psychologist are both saying they need to make their fake marriage believable or the mission and their lives could be a stake. So... kissing her fake husband is for his own good, right?
KaLyn Cooper’s Claimed By the SEAL is part of her Cancun series and intersects with Cat Johnson’s SEAL universe, though it stands alone well. It’s a entertaining, hot, exciting read!

Jeff and Stacey worked undercover in Iraq for 6 months as husband and wife but Stacey is so by the book that they never had sex (even though they both wanted to she would never admit it to anyone) where they both are captured and tortured. Several years later they are both out of the Navy and working for Homeland Security together in Cancun for a year. Months after they get back to the US they are working again as husband and wife but everyone is concerned whether they will be able to pull it off. Then she is told (almost given an order) by the psychologist to sleep with Jeff to get that connection that will make it more believable that they are married. Now that have done that they realize that they have deep feelings for each other. What happens when their mission is happening sooner than they anticipated. What happens when Jeff and Nathan get taken and Stacey is the only one close by? How does Stacey buy time for the SEALs to get in place to help her. Will they admit their love for each other?
Because one of their friends shows up with a beard:
"“Wondered what was up with all the facial hair.” Zane pointed out Jeff’s full beard and moustache. “If I’d seen you walking around the show I would have tracked you, sure as shit.”“Hey, that’s profiling,” Jeff retorted.Zane laughed. “That’s my job. You look like a fucking terrorist.”"
This is apparently a threatening fact because all muslims are terrorists:
“Did you know that there are over twenty thousand Muslims living and working in the Norfolk and Virginia Beach area?”
This is Stacie and Jeff’s story and, boy, what a story! It’s filled with intrigue, excitement, drama and steamy passion. The whole series has been extremely enjoyable, but I believe this may be my favorite. Their tale will keep you captivated on the edge of your seat from beginning to end. The characters and storyline are very appealing and engaging. I strongly recommend this highly entertaining and thrilling romantic suspense story and series.
Stacie and Jeff will be working together again. They will be portrayed as husband and wife. When they had worked together before, they had both been held hostage. It messed with both of them. These terrorists are bound and determined to take out Seals and they need to be stopped. Nathan and Jeff have been captured and both injured. Can Stacie stall the terrorists long enough for the Seals to rescue them? Will Jeff and Sracie have a future?
Ms Cooper writes believable stories and her research is thorough. We get to see Jeff and Stacie from the Cancun Series and enjoy an action-packed military story with terrorists that keep you fully entertained. I received this ARC and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Excellent written book about how terrorists were going to bomb certain areas in Norfolk and the agents undercover to try and stop them. Jeff and Stacey working together again as a married couple to infiltrate. Lots of action and HEA. Received this book free for an honest review.
Such a great read. Jeff and Stacie met in Iraq where they were partners undercover. Things went South and they ended up in danger. Years later these two partner again working for Homeland security. This time the stakes are higher. Such a great fast paced read.
This is the first book I've read by KaLyn.I didn't think I was going to like it when I first started it being it was about ISIS. But, I really enjoyed it. KaLyn had to do a lot of research to do the Ops mission that well. I really got into her characters. I'm going to have to buy the previous books to read their stories.
Jeff has to go undercover as a Muslim extremist in a terrorist group to find out if they are actually planning a terrorist attack on U.S. soil as suspected. In order to save time (months) he has to say he is already indoctrinated. This will let him get right to work and take his place in the terrorist's plans. Jeff asks for his former partner from when he was a SEAL, Stacie Vandercoy to play is wife. They had worked together three years earlier in Afghanistan when they posed as a married couple. During that mission, Stacie wanted to follow the rules and didn't sleep with Jeff. But she's happy not to have to worry about it this time since having an intimate relationship would help them act more like a married couple and be better for their mission. Jeff is to be recruited as an extremist by Nathan, a SEAL, but is also undercover. His wife, Juls, is undercover for the same mission.
This is an exciting, edge of your seat story that I didn't want to put down. Jeff is in a very dangerous position and had to make sure nobody found out that he wasn't a Muslim extremist or married. I loved the details about Muslims and terrorists being so accurate and believable.
The characters are fantastic. Jeff and Stacie are such skilled people and play their parts well. They are a very professional couple facing danger constantly, but they deal with it even though their last mission wasn't easy for them. They also have PTSD which was brought into the story subtly but again in an accurate and believable way.
I loved this action filled military romance and am so glad a got a complementary copy. Please note that I am reviewing this book on my own as I do with everything I read. Not because I was asked to.
This was an incredibly exciting Seal romance. This is far more than just a romance novel but also military suspense and a very relevant one at that. Jeff (Rock Star) Lennon has to go undercover as a devout Muslim extremist in a terrorist group that is suspected to be planning a terrorist attack on US soil. To do that though, he needs a wife; otherwise he will waste valuable weeks or months being indoctrinated before he will find out anything important about their plans. Jeff requests his former partner from his days as a Seal, Stacie Vandercoy. When they posed as husband and wife three years ago in Afghanistan though, things did not end well on that op for either of them. Is this a second chance for them?
The author does a great job of capturing all the excitement for a new relationship and mixing that in with the suspense of a possible terrorist attack and trying to infiltrate the terrorists in order to try and thwart the attack. The terrorist plot is also quite authentic. The details of a Muslim family dynamic are credible. The relationship is very hot and passionate in that way it is when you are first falling in love. This is a fantastic novel which I highly recommend.
Jeff and Stacie's story is a Wonderful addition to the Cancun series
KaLyn has done it again with this addition we hear about Nathan and Jul helping out.
The team of four are trying hard to take done a terrorist who wants to take on Abu Al-Sarif who in turn plans to attack on US soil. The saying goes that it takes a village to take out a terrorist and with the addition of Jeff, Jacks former SEAL team, Josh and Nathan, SEALS do that and slot more. Sarif stable of women showed he had an alternate plan going and a very nasty one it was.
You'll never be disappointed in one of Ms. Coppers book, they keep you turning the pages as fast as you can so you don't miss anything.
Wow, just wow! I do believe this is her best book so far, and I've loved her others she's written a lot. This is fast-paced and filled with plenty of action. I'm amazed at the amount of research she did for this one. That's one thing I love about Ms. Cooper's book, she always gives me factual fiction.
If you enjoy a beautiful love story that's action-packed and filled with not only hot love scenes but emotional ones as well, then you will absolutely love Claimed by a SEAL. Happy reading!
Just like that they go all in this time... Jeff and Stacie play house for keeps this time. Undercover of course. But are they playing? Or is it for real this time? Their first mission together as husband and wife in Iraq left them both reliving painful memories. This time they need to take out a group of terrorists that have targeted a bunch of Navy Seals. When the mission goes sideways and Jeff and Nathan get kidnapped will Stacie freeze or play her part to save the man she loves? “I voluntarily received this arc book for an honest review”

Wow - what a great book!! This is a fast-paced military action book with some great sexy scenes in between the action. Great subject matter that's relevant to today's world and the author has obviously done her research! I love this strong woman matching up to her strong man. I would highly recommend reading this book!
