I read the book!
I met the man!
I personally know the place written about!
I met the elderly neighbors who surrounded there!
The grown orphan children often returned to refute what the disgruntled daughter said, having taken up her mothers jealousy for the many children he shepherded in life. Many orphans as adults admitted they were coaxed to lie in court as children. John was acquitted of charges!
Later in life I knew the daughter of the nurse who cared for him during his final years. His testimony of Christ was unblemished, while his name was slandered for the good work he performed for Christ.
