The fireman is hot—able to burn me. But still, I crave the singe. The professor is cold—brooding with intrigue, making me yearn for more. The police officer easily unlocks my laugh—something I thought was caged for life.
Two years ago, before my cheating husband died, he promised he'd right his wrongs--and there were so many wrongs. On his deathbed, he swore he’d send a slew of men to worship me and treat me like a goddess.
I don't know how, but my husband kept that one promise. Unbelievably, I get to choose between three men—one’s perhaps too hot, another too cold, while the other might be just right. And faintly, I can hear my husband chuckling and whispering that I don’t have to choose.
Red L. Jameson lives in the wilds of Montana. While working on a military history master’s degree, she doodled a story that became her bestselling, award-winning romance, Enemy of Mine, part of the Glimpse Time Travel Series. After earning her gigantic master’s—the diploma is just huge, she couldn’t stop doodling stories, more Glimpse stories—because she can’t get enough of hunky Highlanders and buttoned-down Brits—and other stories, a paranormal romance series and contemporary series, which grew into the pen name R. L. Jameson, under which she writes cerebral and spicy erotic romance. She’s currently working on another master’s degree, so who knows what she’ll doodle next!
What's a girl to do when she finds herself attracted to three men at the same time? Should she choose one or find a way to juggle dating all three?
In Shine, book one of the Wild Love series, author Red L. Jameson weaves an intriguing erotic romance tale that follows thirty-two year old widow Jane Emory's dilemma when she finds herself attracted to three sexy men at the same time!
Set in Laramie, Wyoming, and told in the first person narrative, Jane is a professor of anthropology at the University of Wyoming, and has been a widow for the past two years. After escaping a traumatic childhood and serial cheating from Tim, her plastic surgeon husband who passed away from cancer two years ago, Jane decides it's time to take a lover. But who would have thought that in a span of twenty-four hours, Jane would have a trio of sexy men to choose from?! First there is Paul Reddick, English professor, who wants all of her; then unexpectedly she meets Chris Peters, the sexy fireman whose kisses make her burn for more; then there is Gabe Thompson, the police officer who makes her feel so comfortable. Jane's not the kind of woman who kisses or dates more than one man at a time, in fact she doesn't do anything impulsively, and has been dealing with inner demons from her past, and negative thinking that she isn't lovable or deserves to have her needs, wants and desires fulfilled. Can this trio of sexy men help Jane lower her guard, and show her just how lovable and desirable a woman she really is?
Shine is a delightful erotic romance tale that easily draws the reader into Jane's story. The story has an intriguing mixture of poignancy, emotion, and passion. Each of the men have something different to offer Jane, and together they help her see just how desirable a woman she really is.
I loved that the author provides the reader with Jane's backstory in addition to snippets of the men's lives, and intertwines it with the erotically sexy and passionate connections that Jane made with each of the men. Did I mention that each of the connections were simply hot, hot, hot? And when Jane and the three men are together at the same time, oh my goodness .... you'll have to read the story to find out what happens!
With an intriguing cast of characters; witty banter and electric interactions; and a storyline that has enough emotion and passion that easily keeps the reader engaged and wanting more; Shine is a sexy erotic romance story that will leave a smile on your face!

I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. One word: hawt! That’s all you need to know. Okay, here’s a little more: The story is about Jane Emory and how she is struggling to pull her inner self together after what turned out to be a horrific marriage. She didn’t know it at the time however her husband had been a cheating scumbag, stealing from their joint assets, and planning to divorce her. He falls terminally ill and Jane takes care of him thru his illness. The story is about Jane’s life after his death and how she gets back into not only dating but more importantly, living. She meets three different men: Paul, Chris, and Gabe and the three sexy, seriously hawt men help her move on with life like nothing else could. The story is erotic, sexy, hawt, raw and so touching at times that you will hurt for each and every character – except the dirt bag dead husband. Of course, that’s just my opinion! Seriously loved the book and I’m hoping there will be more like it from the author.
I received an eARC, from NetGalley and the publisher, in exchange for an honest review. Jane Emory had a cheating husband who ended up with a terminal illness. Now it is two years later and she is a widower who hasn't dated or been with anyone else. No Jane has meet two different men in 24 hours along with a co-worker who she has know for a few years are all interested in her. Jane likes all three of them and thinks to try to date them but they all meet one night at her apartment and things seem to change for the good. This was a really Hot read!
5 stars What do you do when you find yourself attracted to a professor, a fireman, and a cop? Have a bit of fun of course! Jane was raised in a polygamous community. At fourteen she was to marry her uncle who was also the leader. She ran long and fast to get away and ended up in foster care with an amazing woman who taught her a lot. She married, but it wasn't the best marriage. Jane believed that she wasn't destined to find love, she was being punished for sins. Enter Paul, a fellow teacher at a college. Just when she decided to give him a chance, firefighter Chris comes into the picture followed by police officer Gabe. Holy hell! Red knows how to turn up the heat! While Gabe wasn't happy to share Jane's time and affection, they were all attentive and very loving towards her. I was envious of Jane and how she was able to push herself forward even with everything she was taught growing up. She found herself worthy of love although she doubted their feelings. I would not have been able to choose between they guys. Paul, almost the leader of them all, was very dominant with the group. He gave direction and was the first to love her. He knew she was hurting and waited for his chance with her. He would give her anything she wanted. Chris, oh Chris was amazingly sweet. He was more like Jane's soul mate. Gabe was more the quiet brooding type. He didn't talk as much but was very good at letting everyone know how he felt. They each loved her just as strongly as the others. I absolutely loved how they did whatever was needed to show her how they felt and that they would not leave. None of them knew the depth of her past. When all is revealed with their feelings for her be strong enough, or will her fears of them leaving come true? I think this book was very tastefully done. We got to see real emotion and the war that Jane had with herself. Three men that loved her and would give her the world, and the promise that her husband gave her before he died. Can one woman have that kind of love and deserve it? She often questions if something like this can last and if they'll be accepted. There was such a cohesiveness to the group, it just worked. It was sweet and romantic. What a great change of pace and I commend this author for writing this and doing a great amazing job with it.
Not sure how to feel about this story. It was very in depth and had a true storyline, but the sex at times was very gratuitous.
Jane is an interesting girl, she has been through a great deal of heartache and drama. She is finally finding herself and deciding to get laid. Then she meets a fireman and then a cop; on top of dating a professor. Cool, but she turns from this meek and mild woman to this insatiable sex kitten?! Ok that is just stretching my reasonable thoughts. She states she doesn't f@ck she makes love and then starts saying the word and doing the action. Like a total 360 flip.
The guys are way different from each other and not really sure how they fit together. All their egos are huge except for one. All have baggage except for one. Just do not seem to fit.
Interesting read, but just not a favorite. I started skipping the sex to get to the story. It's ok it's only .99 so you won't feel cheated if you get it and not like it.
SHINE is set in Montana and is about a woman whose cheating husband made her a deathbed promise...one that seems a bit far fetched and driven by his own guilt (spoiler alert: he was sort of a jerk). When that odd promise comes to fruition for Jane, she finds herself confronted with, shall we say, a real smorgasbord of manly options. She's positively spoiled for choice between not one, not two but three equally amazing dudes, all of whom are way into her--so into her that they don't mind sharing one bit. It's 100% pure sexual fantasy and one written very well by an author I plan to read more from in the future! The only thing I would have really enjoyed getting is a bit more perspective from the men in question. But that's just my preference. This book is a near-perfect rendering of a woman's long-earned happily ever after with a bunch of guys who love her.
Growing up not sure what real love is. Getting married to a man that may not really love you cause he cheats so much, can be a bit confusing and hard on the brain and heart. But having three men love you at once can be a bit crazy to believe in. Loving each of them for different reasons can really be confusing, but it all works. Love may be hard, but having it three fold can be gold.
Oh wow, what a story! Jane had been through so much and finally, it was all about her! She was a bit whiny at times, but I guess self-esteem would be an issue after the childhood she had. 3 amazing guys... sigh. 😍 I loved how different all the men were, and the way they complemented Jane in different ways. I just love this group of characters!
The heroine's past is one that is fanatic and a bad one. She married a man who cheated on her, got ill and died, yet she still loved him. She is not very trusting and questions a person's true intent towards her. She meets three different men and finds she likes and is attracted to them all. Each man is a heroin his own right. Each man brings something different to this relationship that she needs and also compliments her in some way. I like their relationship dynamic. The heroine struggles with this relationship because of her past, but once she realizes that her love is returned and no one is walking away, she keeps them. They all learn to make this relationship work because nothing else matters to them but the love they have. I enjoyed this story and read it from start to finish in one sitting. This story was about the connection and love heroine had for each man, and the love and connection they each had for her. Of course there was some sex thrown in there, but it wasn't all sex and no relationship. The men were all about her in this book. I have read some books lately where there were multiple partners and the woman was on the side and the relationship was more about the men together. This is not the case in this story. This story was a good read. ARC received from publisher in exchange for an honest review.
A lonely college professor with a sad origin story—child bride, then ran for three days straight to get away from the fanatics who killed 13 of their own, THEN her adoptive mother and husband die of cancer, but not before she finds out he was cheating on her—suddenly finds herself with three boyfriends. Having such a bad history with men, she’s unprepared when a fireman and then a policeman come on to her, adding to the poetry professor she’s already dating. It’s rather amusing that, once all three have resigned themselves to the idea that they would have to share her, she doesn’t give a single thought to having them one at a time, going right into a foursome. It’s certainly a different type of love story, but other than the obvious Mary Sue of it all, it works well. The scene with her mother and sis-in-law is the best, both hilarious and heartwarming. Also heartening is her ability to finally stop playing it safe and let herself embrace the situation. It helps that her best friend is encouraging her every step of the way, but it’s her character development that really sells the story.

Maybe—just maybe, they could all be mine...
I really enjoyed this book. It is different from most menage relationship books I have read. This book actually showed the point of view where the men were actually not use to this type of relationship. I loved this book and I look forward to reading more from this series. I recommend this book to anyone who loves to read a great story and has an open mind!

A highly erotic and entertaining read! This has a very unusual storyline that makes this a great read. Each of the 4 main characters are independent, strong, even if not all of them believe that about themselves, are very likeable, and easy to relate with. Even though 3 of the 4 have some kind of damaged past, the 4th one is the one that keeps the others grounded and gives them strength when needed. They're all new to this kind of a relationship, but realize that they need each other to make it work. I really enjoyed this book and the journey they're all taking in this unique relationship they have. It has some very emotional moments, some that will have you cracking up laughing, and lots that are extremely heated that will leave you breathless. The only thing that I wasn't thrilled with was the ending. It has a HFN type ending when the guys drop one hell of a bomb on Jane, and then it ends. That's just cruel! Lol! Hopefully we will get the answers in the next book, which is available now. I strongly recommend this book!

>This is the first book in the Wild Love erotic romance series. Jane is a widow who was unhappily married to a serial cheater and also survived a horrific abusive childhood. After 2 years she decides to get back in the dating pool and finds herself in love with 3 men.
>The reader gets a chance to get to know each of the men and a little of their back stories. A relationship with 4 is unusual for all parties involved. I found it interesting how the men and Jane rationalized the relationship. The men make an important decision at the end of the book that I would have loved to see come to fruition. I also wish the conversation between the 3 men regarding sharing Jane would have been documented. I'd have liked to hear their mind sets on the sharing as it is obvious not something they've ever done before.
>This book is appropriate for an adult audience. I am a reviewer for Romance Authors that Rock and I am giving the story 4 hearts. This story is erotic, but has a heart.
Jane was married to terrible cheating husband who was dying of cancer but he kept cheating on her still. Jane was a devoted wife and continued and stood by him till he died. Two years after his death she begins to start coming inter her own and starting seeing a professor friend of hers and they have a sexy connection. She doesn’t know what to do she has three different men paying attention to her and she when in the past her husband never you used to see her. Now all three men want to be with her and she has decided if she willing to spend time with all of them together. She is scared but is she is also very anxious. I recommend you read this book it was a fun and easy read. This was the first book in a new series by Red Jameson . I have this author in the past and this book did not disappoint. I am excited to read the next book in this series.
I’m so glad that I gave this book a shot! I really really enjoyed reading about Jane and her sexy men! Her past is harsh and I’m glad that things are looking to work out for her. I really like how each of the men in her life bring something different that she needs. I also like how much love is in this relationship and how they make it work. And the SEX?! HOT!!! I mean, who hasn’t pictured a Fireman, Police Officer or a Professor?? and you get ALL THREE in this book! Awesome!
Great read!

I don’t often read erotic romance but I enjoy Red L. Jameson’s writing style so gave this try. I’m so glad I did! Thoroughly enjoyed this story of Jane and her delightful trio of men. Jane’s past is heartbreaking and her marriage wasn’t so great either, but it seems that it’s finally her time, and fate hands her three guys who fulfill SO many fantasies! This is a sexy, hot story that tugs at the reader emotionally. Ms. Jameson’s writing style sings in this book and is deep and poignant. Absolutely adored it, highly recommend it, and can’t wait for the next book in the series!
What better way to weather through an ice storm than to curl up with a book like this? Jane is one very lucky girl, as all three men have definite appeal and somehow miraculously are almost immediately okay with sharing her. Yeah, I didn't get it either but I don't read these things for the realism. I didn't love Jane, but the guys more than make up for it.
Received an advance e-galley at Netgalley from the author and publisher in exchange for an honest review. Thank you for allowing me this access.
I thought that Jane was sweet and caring. Her husband had cheated on her and she was trying to move on. Hedge has a lot to think about, but when men start popping up and asking her out she can't say no! I mean can you really blame her? There are a lot of scenes in this read and I do mean a lot. I did read this fast and didn't mind it. Good story and good characters.
I received this ARC from the publisher via Net Galley for my honest review.
I voluntarily read this arc book. I love it the story of Jane et her 3 men Gabe, Chris et Paul. A policeman, fireman et a poet. It's a short read about a hour. It's filled with love. A definite recommend
me encantan estos romances que parecen bastantes reales. Donde nadie es perfecto pero aun así el amor los hace mejor. estaré pendiente por mas libro de esta autora.
Shine creates a polygamous relationship between Jane and her men. What stretches the imagination is that all three of these men are supposedly heterosexual, yet after knowing each other for a mere twenty-four hours are happy to get naked together. It seems wildly unlikely that all three men would be okay sharing the woman they love. As strictly fantasy, on the other hand, who wouldn’t want three hot men to appear, fall madly in love with you, and then offer great sex. Jane is presented as a first person narrator which severely limits the knowledge of the reader, as we know only what Jane sees and experiences. It would have been nice to read what the men think of this relationship. It would also serve to address the believability issue. When reading, the flow of the narration is frequently interrupted by missing or incorrect words. Still overall, Shine offers a lighthearted and amusing retreat from reality.
