This is a beautiful little guide that showcases common shells around the world. Not a true guide in the sense of use this to identify a shell you find on a beach, but it presents a nice overview of common shells and the types of waterbody you might find them in.

Good basic guide to shells found worldwide. Great illustrations and light enough to pop in you pocket as you head to the beach. Perfect if you want to know what you picked up in your beach combing.
