Presents three stories about haunted places--one where the ghost needs a few lessons in haunting, one whose ghost saves the day, and one where the ghosts get shy when it comes to television.
Russell Punter was born in Bedfordshire, England. From an early age he enjoyed writing and illustrating his own stories. He trained as a graphic designer at art college in West Sussex before entering the world of publishing. He has written over one hundred books for children of all ages, ranging from original stories to adaptations of classic novels.
True, the stories are original, but that's all what is positive about it. We get to a really low point where bullies make the hero stay in a haunted undergound dungeon on a school trip. Little kids don't go on overnight trips, but they don't get bullied like this either - it is downright terrifying!!!
The stories were very easy to read. I wasn't expecting them to be so cheesy and not scary at all. The illustrations are cute. My favorite story was the last one with the Ghost hunters and the camera crew missing the ghosts every time.
A spooky welcome awaits you at these hair rasing haunts. Explore the dungeons of Chillmore castle. Help the spook spotters find the ghosts of Gimly Grange. And track down a spectre's treasure at the Highwayman's Halt. Fun Halloween book.
