I found this book at the library a couple of years ago and I think it is a really good book for those who want quick and easy information about the First World War. There is a lot of visuals, which is great for those who love pictures!

This book presents information about World War 1 that everyone should know. It is easy to read and is a great place to start learning about the Great War.

This introduction had more information than my high school world history textbook.
Definitely have to pick and choose and learn more, but this is a most excellent overview and a starting point based on interests.

I remember staying up late, reading this under the covers with a flashlight.

Useful overview of WWI for background research. Could have used a timeline at the back, but otherwise informative.

OK....so I guess I knew practically NOTHING about the first world war! It was quite a bit of information to take in. I love these Usborne books though because they make complex issues very understandable! I hope I can retain a little bit of something. I think the Usborne book about WWII will be more review for me than this one.

Great information about World War One. The pictures were real and the information is broken down into categories and order.

August 12, 2016I know it's for younger people, but it is the best World War I book that I have found so far
