Nessa has plans for her future one that involve a husband who will take care of her, children and a life like her mother had. Security has been beefed up around the campus so Nessa has to call for someone to walk her from her dorm. The tall stranger who leads escorts her doesn't speak much but there is something about him.
When her sister arrives in town she tells her and their other sister that they are the daughters of a werebear shifter. As if that's not enough that Tori has found her true mate a bear shifter. Determined to not follow in her sister's footsteps Nessa avoids the bear shifter in town. When her sister Ginny needs a singer for her bad Nessa has no choice but to help but she may give up her heart in the process.
I like Nessa she's a sweetheart helping out her sister when she needed her even though she doesn't want to be part of a band. I like Andre he's on the quiet side but he complements Nessa in more than just singing. They have this sweet chemistry but when Nessa accepts that they are connected it's steamy.
I've been reading other books by the author so I was curious to check out her bear shifter romance and I wasn't disappointed. Andre is a sweet story between Nessa who's running towards the future and Andre from his past. Together they find what they need in each other forming a solid bond. The characters are easy to connect with you can't help having a soft spot for both of them. This isn't my first book by the author but the shifter romance tends to be my favorites. I like the authors writing style she's done a great job creating a unique world with engaging stories. I'm looking forward to reading more of her stories.

This terrific paranormal romance had me hooked from fraught beginning to happily ever after end. I absolutely loved it.
I love V. Vaughn's books and this entry into the ongoing saga of the Le Roux and De Rozier clans is the best yet. I absolutely loved reading the first book in her brand new Rocked by the Bear series, 'Andre', which also kicks off the brand new multi-author Mating Fever Collection of stand alone paranormal romances that takes over from the Mating Season.
Triplets Nessa, Ginni and Tori are part grizzly bear, although the only one who knows that is Tori. They were called to mate by the Le Roux clan, but only Tori answered, and now she's on the campus of Bowdoin College to tell her sisters all about it. They've all been having hot dreams about a big guy who becomes a bear for a couple of years now and Ginni is fine with the idea, but Nessa has a fit. She's a snob who wants to be part of the twin set and country club brigade, not a part bear freak. But she's pulled up short on the way to a band rehearsal when Ginni is so disgusted by her attitude towards Andre that she can barely talk to her, so Nessa gives her life a good coat of looking at and finds she doesn't like what she sees.
Polar bear shifters Andre Lindquist and his brothers have been sent to work security at Bowdoin College because a rogue bear clan, the La Verdiers, have been causing a lot of trouble and are a serious danger to the female students. Having spent ten years in bear form just to survive, his communication skills are a little rusty when he first meets Nessa on the night that Tori is there, and knows Nessa is his true mate. She repeatedly hurts him and fights it all the way, but they have common ground in their shared love of music. A Christmas revelation causes her to re-evaulate what's important and a trip to spend New Year with Tori and Keith also brings a happily ever after for Andre and Nessa.
I absolutely loved this paranormal romance about true mates Andre and Nessa. Andre is really sweet and over the course of the book Nessa starts to see the kind person he is and the kind of shallow person she's become. Having something of an epiphany, she realises it isn't the lifestyle they live, and to which she aspires, that has brought happiness to her mother and stepfather, it's the love they have for each other. Although this book is connected to Called by the Bear and Tempted by the Bear which are serials, this is a complete stand alone story with a happily ever after and no cliff-hangers.

I received an ARC of this book in return for my opinion and an honest review.
This is the first book in Rocked by the Bear series. I have read others by V. Vaughn and after reading this book I know I am looking forward to the rest of books in this new series. She has created a very powerful storyline with fascinating characters that held my attention all the way through. This is one of those books that I could not put down. Although this book is connected to the Called by the Bear and Tempted by the Bear series, this is a complete standalone story with a happily ending and no cliff-hangers

I'm sure everyone remembers Keith and Tori from the last book. Tori is one of triplets,
with her sister's going Bowdoin College in Brunswick, Tori went to asked the girls if they are still having sex dreams and a bear, since they've all three have been dreaming for two years now. Trying to explain to her sisters about her dreams and bears, of course neither Harrison girl's Ginny or Nessa short for Vanessa, believed her. So Tori showed them. Denial was easy instead of truth.
Andre Lindquist and his four brothers, were polar bears. They were sent by the LeRoux Clan to do surveillance at the college cause of a rogue clan of Werebears causing trouble. Andre had two jobs, singing in Ginny's band and security guard for the college. As a guard Andre walked Nessa to her dorm, it was then that he knew.... Mate.

overall a pretty fun read. the one thing that annoyed me was that vanessa's sisters seemed baffled that a person might be hesitant to throw themselves into the whole were-bear world. one day she was bopping around like everything was normal, only to learn that she was paranormal and everything she ever knew and hoped for went topsy turvy. it didnt seem fair that her sisters gave her crap over her trying to wrap her mind around things (ie, "youre just like mom," etc.). sure her views were a little negative and judgmental, but she had to work through things in her mind. i thought it was kind of refreshing to see a character that didnt swoon and fall head over heels right away, and actually spent a majority of the book trying to figure out things. sometimes the insta-love thing can get old, so seeing something that was kinda-sorta-maybe-i'll think about it-love in this genre made for a different and fun read. i thought more was going to happen with eric...i have a feeling he is going to crop up in other books...maybe?

This book has an incredible storyline. The characters are amazing!.
Nessa is one of a set of triplets Nessa, Ginny, and Tori. Nessa and Ginny are college roommates. But Tory followed some dreams she had been having. When Nessa gets to their room Tori is there with Ginny. Tori tells them she has something to share with them. Tori let's them know the dreams all three of them started having two years before of sexy men and bears are true. She let's them know that their biological father was a were bear. She proves it to them by transforming her hand into a nears claw. Ginny is intrigued but Nessa freaks out!. Tori let's them know four were bear brothers have moved into their area. Ginny says one of them is in her band. Later Ginny gets Nessa to sing with her band and Nessa meets Andre. As it turns out Andre and Nessa are true mates. But can Andre win Nessa over?. You will love this sweet, touching and amazing Romance!.

If your currently reading V. Vaughn's "Tempted by the Bear" serial, you will recognise Tori in the start of this story. 'Andre: Mating Fever' is book 1 in V. Vaughn's new series "Rocked by the Bear". I don't want to give to much away with the storyline... Tori, Ginny & Nessa are triplets & Tori has arrived at their college dorm to let her sisters know of their werebear heritage & update them on what has been happening in her life. This is Nessa's journey at accepting being part bear & all that entails... I LOVED this story.

Nessa appeared to be the only developed character in the story, not good or bad, but her immature views were annoying. I was disappointed with Andre. He felt one dimensional and a part of the background. It would have been nice to know a bit more about him and why he liked Nessa, besides his bear recognizing her as his mate. I think this was an okay read. I did enjoy Vaughn's writing style and sense of humor enough to check out other books in the backlist.

Nessa is one of a set of triplets. She finds out that her biological father, whom she's never met, is actually a were-bear. She finds this out when her sister Tori shows up and tells her her and Jenny, the third triplet, that she mated and can now turn into a bear. Nessa has a perfectly reasonable reaction to finding out that not only are shifters real, she is one. She meets Andre, one of four brothers who are polar bear shifters. He works as a campus security guard and that's how they meet. Then Jenny asks Nessa to fill in in her band, and look who does back up vocals, Andre. Their voices blend beautifully. She is drawn to him even though she doesn't want to be. The more time she spends with him the harder it is to be separated from him so when she goes home for Christmas she is struggling without him. She and Jenny go to visit Tori and her fiance and Andre is there. The consummate their relationship and he tells her that she's his true mate. And now they are together. It was fine. Nothing special.

This is the first book I have read by this author and would read more.
I lover paranormal books and reading about shifters. The premise of this series really interested me. I liked reading about the three sisters and how they found out about them being shifters. I also really liked reading about when they were working on music.
The only part I didn't really care for was Andre. In most shifter books, the mating pull is a huge part of this story. While reading about their first meeting, you don't even get that he has an attraction towards her. I get that he is quiet but there just wasn't anything there. He did explain it later but as a reader you would have thought you would have noticed something.

Raised as an upper class kid caused you to think of a life of 21/2 kids and a two car garage. But when the triplets find out they are not the perfect young ladies they think they are. But have a deep secret that changes into a furry being!! This is horrifying to Vanessa. The two other triplets readily embrace their genetic secret but Vanessa wants the rich kid life until an alpha werebear is her true mate! Their love is explosive and passionate. A great, quick read! I've ordered the complete set!!

Such a light hearted read, loved how they were all getting together and the danger that lies ahead of them perhaps? Would of liked a little more detail about "Eric" and the stranger inside the door way?.... who was he? Some questions not answered. This novel does not leave on a cliff hanger, but it does leave you thinking where its all going to go in the next novel.

This is a fast paced fun and passionate read with strong and fun characters that are easy to connect with and the chemistry between Neesa and Andre is intense.
Loved the flow of the storyline and had me hooked from the get go.

Great read
I literally couldn't put this book down. I love how Nessa slowly realizes that she's in love with Andre. I'm going to tell all of my friends about this book and I recommend to of you readers that love a good romance, you need to read this book.

I could not stay into this book. I felt like this book was really slow going other then the relationship felt pushed and fast. I really had huge hopes for this book but felt like the story-line was flat and the characters were flat as well. I won't be reading the next book in this series. Bummer.

I received this ARC of this book to read and give my opinion in a honest review.
This is the first book in Rocked by the Bear series. I have read others by V. Vaughn. After reading this wonderful book I know I will be on the look out for more of her books. She has created a very powerful captivating storyline with fascinating characters that had my attention all the way through the book. This is one of those books that I was up late reading because I could not put it down. My eyes were crossing as I was reading but I couldn't put it down until I finish it. However, the first thing I did the next morning was reread this great story. Until I finish it again. I love reading V. Vaughn's books and this is a great addition to the ongoing saga of the Le Roux and De Rozier clans. I love reading this the first book in this series, Andre Rocked by the Bear series, which will be a new multi-author Mating Fever Collection, each book will be a stand alone paranormal romances that takes place over the Mating Season.
This story is about Triplets Vanessa (Nessa), Ginni and Tori who are part Werebear. They were called to mate by the Le Roux clan, but Tori was the only one who answered. After learning she was a WereBear Tori could wait to tell her sisters. She is waiting on Nessa in her sisters dorm room on the campus of Bowdoin College to tell them all about it. First she ask if They were still having the sensual dreams about guys who makes love to them and who are werebears. Then she drops the bomb and tell them they are WereBears. Nessa don't want to believe her sister and ask her to prove it but Ginni is happy with the thought of being a WereBear.
Andre Lindquist and his brothers are Polar bear shifters. Who has been sent to work security at Bowdoin College because the La Verdiers a rogue bear clan has caused a lot of trouble by endangering female students who may be Werebears but as long as they don't hear the called they will live as humans. Andre and his brothers spent ten years in their bear form because their alpha gamble away pack land and their parents died defending what was left. So Andre communication skills were a little rusty, so when he meets Nessa for the first time as he walks her to her dorm he didn't talk, but he knew Nessa was his true mate.
This is a Fantastic Read. If you are looking for a Spectacular paranormal book then you need to read this book. You don't want to miss this book! This is a great book to add to your TBR list. I'm so excited about reading the next book this series. I highly recommend this book.
If you believe in the world of paranormal romance, the possibilities are endless and fascinating!

Nessa returns to her dorm after class, finding Ginny and visiting sister Tori giggling while waiting for her. Tori is there to tell them a few things about the father they knew nothing of ( who and what he was), what it means about who and what they are or can be, what there dreams that started two years ago mean, and what she has found for herself in Orono where she goes to school at the University of Maine. Oh, the girls are triplets. This is not all the surprising news she has to give them because her life has changed a lot including she is mated, getting married, and his her fathers (that she didn't know) heir, making her the new alpha. This story deals with how the girls deal with excepting all this in the time they are told and Christmas/New Years holiday season when they are going to visit Tori and her mate Keith. Will either of her sister except fate? When they meet there true mates, how will they react ? I loved this story and hope the others will be as interesting .

If you are a fan of any of V Vaughn's series, you will be ecstatic to know here is a new one. If you aren't familiar with her work, but you are a fan of shifter Bear stories, you will be on this new series. A set of Polar Bear brothers—all steamy hot, all in full length, stand alone books. At college, they meet up with two of a set female human triplets to hear some music. Really, they do. Three of the two couples are in a college band. Ms Vaughn not only writes a great love story, with steam and emotion, she manages to make PRN stories give real life situations in a unique way. Class warfare. The prejudices in the werebear world mirror real life. Can (Va)Nessa get past her idea of the perfect future?
