Star Force is now colonizing planets in other star systems and pushing for more. Trouble is, we didn't have to go very far until we ran into some unfriendly neighbors who are obsessed with galactic domination. Thankfully they're not the Dinosaurs, but still...ouch.
Aer-ki Jyr is one of the top 20 science fiction authors on Amazon due to his extremely long and ongoing space opera epic STAR FORCE, one of the longest military science fiction series ever written.
I am excited about tech advances, and what will happen in future! Kicked Lizard butt! I wonder where they came from, it definitely goes into it in this book but I’m not sure if it’s a case of more will be revealed or if I just want to know more because mostly we get SF POV and sometimes 3rd wall info.. I remember a bit where I was reading and it said something about the Lizards maybe that our characters didn’t know yet. Aside from maybe 5 ppl.. I need a character map! Ps totally check out the website in the Bk.. found a way cool forum!! All about SF except that I was mainly confused since I started from Origins and have read nothing else yet.
The story line is good with entry of world building and character development.
The time jumps are a little disconcerting sometimes but mostly manageable.
The grammar is lacking by a fair margin and should have undergone more proofreading. There are tense changes that are mostly just annoying, and then there are instances of incorrect homonyn usage that make me want to punch a wall. All of this could have been avoided with a simple grammar checker, and it diminishes the story to have so many avoidable errors.
It makes me wonder if an AI was used to build some of the sentence structure.
Still a good story, but the grammar needs better editing.
Great action, problems solved, enemies destroyed. The offer of help from the balloon race brings up a possible problem, I'll do it backwards. Let's say the Archons found a planet with 16th century Mongols and American Indians. You know they can fight, but if you give them modern weapons, after they help you, what is to stop them from wanting more than you may want to give and attacking you?
Entertaining read gets a little unbelievable at times because of the technology differences. Still an entertaining read. It may help one some in the reading if you have a familiarity with video games like halo. If you play video games you would like this series.
Good continuing narrative, but too much focus on a long and ultimately, hard to keep chugging through to get to the end. Have totally enjoyed this series so far, so hoping that this is just a one-off anomaly. Don’t get me wrong -still a good read overall. Just too much tome spent killing “lizards” by the thousands....
Great story. I feel that there's to much fighting, fluff. The story jumps decades forward. I feel that I need to keeps a time table. Talk more about figuring out tech a lot less fighting.
I have joyful it read 20 books in the series. Up to this set, no misspelled words or misused words. Aside from 3 or 4 bloopers, very well written and paints a very graphic word picture.
I am so enjoying this series, sometimes I feel that some of the fight scenes are too long. However; the author has a right to do it his way😄. Character development is very good! I would recommend this series to avid sci-fi readers
the story line is inventive but has become a futuristic form of "The Perils if Pauline.".It dies have a decent plot line that gets a little convoluted at times.
The full tilt action I'd such that when it slows down it's still full speed. Like a baseball pitcher who throws so hard his change -up comes in at 92 mph.
From the first book this series is hard to put down and full of action. The best science fiction series I have read in a long time and I have read thousands of books. The Star Force series keeps me wanting to read more of it's books.
