Unauthorized entry

While a compelling read, this book is unauthorized, while good, fan fiction. While not risqué, there is quite a bit more discussion of sex and British profanity than in authorized Star Trek novelizations. But for the frequent referrals to sex, I would have rated it higher. It is well-written, and I believe the author would be more successful writing in an original universe.
