Sarah Connor Madrid and her son John Matthew fight to survive in an apocalyptical future after humanity lost its final battle against machines demons.

Storyline is far from original but this spin-off tale from Alan McElroy screenwriter of Spawn awful movie and good HBO animated series, is a great cinematic and sometimes disturbing one.

Miguel O'Hara Daniel Llanso, the Spider-Man 2099 Hellspawn of the future, is an interesting character and Dwayne Turner's excellent artworks are a real cherry on cake.

A nice fresh air breath from the main series soap-opera meandering storyline.

At some point someone had a great idea of producing a comic about other versions of Spawn. Well, they took all the elements I do not care of: Messy art that is sometimes too dark, way too many words explaining things and stories that could have been told half the time.
