Nice read
This was a nice read which I enjoyed, this book was set in sort of a post war setting where humans are trying to create a living from the wasteland, earth has become due to the ravages of war and plagues. Miah is from the country and wants to try and create enough stable food to start to sustain people and is very goal oriented and is classed as a bit of a bore until a ticket arrives and he decides to have one adventure before he starts up on his farm. This leads to the hunt with moshe and lisco deciding that miah is their other mate and there courting miah alien style. The yume are aliens which decided to set up home on earth after they were hunted and have only settled on earth a mere 6 years. There shifters with moshe resembling a massive caterpillars and lisco a snake. This is the story of them courting Micah and establishing his farm but with a little villainy to sustain the story. Although this book was kind of placid but from the beginning where the hunt took place it sort of mellowed to middle to end but when they find the perpetrator who's trying to sabotage them. If you like action packed stories this book is not for you but if you enjoy a sweet mellow read then this is ideal. I did like the concept of the aliens and the setting but would of rated higher if just the story was a bit more filled out as you didn't get told if they made it or not but this is the first in the series so maybe it be a carry on. It was a little confusing on who was speaking as they changed the dialogues from different characters but I enjoyed this book. Sweet read.

An ok futuristic read.
The characters were likable. Especially Moshe. I still can't really picture a giant fluffy caterpillar with sis legs....
I wish there had been more interaction between the triad and other characters.

Third time reading this book and I love it every time! My only complaint is how quickly the book ends. (the confrontation with Antagonist seemed a little too fast to be a proper resolution) other than that It's super sweet! I love all three characters, I love the world-building, and I'll happily wait for the next installment.
