Another fun and easy Clara book! I loved the play of the friendship between the three women as well as Clara and her husband, it was good to see the relationships get equal amount of importance (though maybe the friendship got a little bit more considering it was the focus of the plot). I love how London writes settings, you can really immerse yourself in it and, despite being in the middle of a cold winter, I felt like I was at the beach.
However, I didn't particularly like how the subplot of the restaurant problems was handled. It was fairly predictable and the wrap-up was handled off-screen and brushed over. I also dislike the appearance of one of the subplots 'every woman will want a baby eventually' which made me want to grind my teeth.
It wasn't my favourite Clara book but it was an enjoyable read nonetheless.
