Slade Wilson would move heaven and Earth to get his daughter back-and not even LexCorp will stand in his way! But after barely surviving a tussle with the Suicide Squad, how can a battle-ravaged Deathstroke take on Lex Luthor’s forces?
Still on the trail of his missing daughter, Slade hits LexCorp headquarters following a lead that Rose is being held there. Now he just has to get past Mercy Graves and her security arsenal to see if that lead pans out.
This one is wall-to-wall action! Sure the story moves along in small ways, but this one just explodes off the page. I gotta say, Slade never seems to have the upper hand in this series! He tends to take on overwhelming opponents only to triumph at the end. Well, this time he's taking on one of Lex Luthor's battle suits and it just kicks his @$$! I mean, he puts up a good fight, but he seems completely over-matched. Hey, just the way you want it for the hero of the book, right?
And if that weren't enough, the book ends on a note that seems to up that ante even further!
Fun stuff! This book takes the action from every Stallone, Schwartzenegger, and Jason Statham movie, puts it in all in a blender and serves it up cold! Great for you action lovers out there!
