Wilder I'm a prick, and I should have been dead. This job was the only thing that saved me, the only thing that kept me from falling over the edge. Both the pay and the women were just a bonus.
Rough and relentless is how I operate. I don’t do gentle. I don’t do kisses.
I use. I ride. I control.
Until I met Kylie, and everything changed…
Kylie I had no other way out. My tuition was piling up, and my job didn’t pay enough to keep me from drowning in debt.
If you had a way out, a way to get enough money for just a tiny breathing room, would you take it?
I did.
There was just one rule I had to obey:
Do whatever I’m told. No questions asked.
And then I saw Wilder…
Pricked is a full-length, standalone romance novel with steamy hot sex, strong language, an HEA ending and NO CLIFFHANGERS. Contains dark and disturbing themes, and over the top sexiness that may be uncomfortable for some readers.
I went into this without reading any reviews (there are none) and not really getting anything from the description.
The Hero in this book is her ex-stepbrother and a pornstar. Unbeknownst to the heroine. The heroine works in a strip bar as a waitress and needs money so agrees to a few films, where she then finds out her co-star is her stepbrother. He doesn't recognize her but had some type of connection with her and only wants her to film with him for her remaining films.
Somehow he becomes the owner of the company, which was out of left field, and they make videos together now. She has a shoot with a woman and another with a man who is the Heros rival. Hero gets jealous because they screw on camera but don't have a sexual relationship off camera. He changes that, he wants her for himself.
Unnecessary drama takes place. They have a fight. She goes out and gets drunk at some random party dances with men who know her as a porn star. Shit happens she escapes and runs back to the Hero. All is good for a few days unfortunately something else happens which felt like it was just thrown in there to help the story.
It just felt like a mess to me. Too many things angling on in one story, it should have just been the porn gig, the added shit wasn't needed.

Not a bad book but it could have been... better? There was a lot of potential to this story but I think the plot got out of hand and way too many holes were in it to properly finish the story.
The book starts off with a young, poor, struggling college woman, aka Kylie. She's working a shitty job at a strip club, is in debt and she has collectors on her back. One night on the job she brakes some very expensive bottles of champagne, pisses off some VIP's and her boss's remedy is that she repay the money that she just cost him by filming some porn. Enter Wilder/William/Wills she almost immediately recognizes him as her former stepbrother and instead of telling him who she is she decides to "play her part" and shoot the porn "movie". Couple of chapters later Wilder finds out who she is and has this whole hot, cold, hot, cold, yes, no, yes, no thing going on. The author manages to thrown in that he was a drug addict, stole money from his father and in turn, screwed up Kylies life, she finds out, gets kicked out of college for filming porn and runs off to some party (because liquor, loud music, sweaty guys trying to rub up on you will just *poof* make your problems disappear) with her friend Lana. She drinks, gets drugged up by some a-holes. and just when she's about to get raped she one-hit kills a man with some statue thingy she then runs back Wilder/Wills and the two run off to some house have a good couple of days and then this gang (which the guy Kylie killed was part of) shows up kidnaps Kylie, beats up Wilder and leaves him for dead with an ominous threat of "If you come after her we will kill her" and then they take her to some shady location where they also have her friend Lana at. Wilder gets the feds (?) and police involved they rescue Lana and Kylie and get into the Wit-Pro and are back to filming porn a year later.

I am giving this story 4 stars for several reasons. 1) it's fast paced, 2) it sets off the sizzle factor, 3) it has an interesting storyline & one that I haven't read before. Taboo themes are really not my favorite kind to read but this one? I couldn't stop reading. Kudos to the author for pulling out all the stops on this one.
This book is about 2 estranged step siblings who are back in each others life's in the most unlikely way.
We meet Kylie who is in serious debt and then to add to her problems she now owes money to the wrong person her shady creepy boss. She agrees to star in a adult film and do whatever no questions asked. For Kylie this is a million miles away from the life she knows. She's very innocent and when your reading this book you keep thinking that you would love Kylie to find a way out of trap she's got herself into.
Kylie turns up and the only bit of information she's told is that she's doing a film with a man regarded as one of the best in the business.
Kylie's leading man and best in the business is none other than her estranged step brother Wilder.
Wilder is definitely going down as a book boyfriend. Wilder has his own demons and ends up working in the adult film industry where he's known as one of the best in business. He's content in.tjis line of work as the money's good and he can his fill of women.
I can't say no much away but I will say that there is alot sex in every position. But there is a genuine love between Kylie and Wilder.
**I received this book in return for my honest opinion**
So here's my " I hate leaving bad reviews" caveat, and I do I really do , I know it must be really difficult to write a book but this one is amateurish at best and just really.....not good.
