Converted

The author has succeeded in converting me from a full blown skeptic to an admirer with reservations. For those of you who are Star Wars fans, you're going to have a hard time believing what I'm going to write next.
This book has more action than any but the original movie.
A full blown science fiction fan in the fanatic sense, I have been into the fantasy and science fiction world since I was an embryo. Starting in the fourth grade when I convinced my folks to allow me access to the adult books (I really needed to write a report on the Red Badge of Courage, wink wink) I have been reading what are now considered the original Masters, and I haven't stopped.

So far, this series of books has covered a history going through approximately 300 years. Each section fitting neatly into the advances of the one before. Considering technology builds on what has gone before, technological increases are spreading up, but havent gotten unrecognizable. It takes a significant amount of time to travel between star systems, but humans have now had first contact with dozens of space fairing races.

No spoilers, but my assurance. If you like science fiction adventure like Star Trek and Star Wars, you will enjoy this series.

A Dragon a Dragon I love Dragons

As soon as I get bored... something amazing happens in the story.. I’ve gotten to know a mermaid, a dragon, and some alien races! Star force is expanding in the universe and basically realizing that not everyone is a friend and allies can be fake.. when they backstab you! It sucks when you wake up one day and realize someone has been pulling your strings.. especially the ones you never suspect.. so yeah the writing could be better but the story kicks a$$!

This was book 6 of many in the series. As stated before I recommend that you read them in order or you will lose the overall foundation of the story. The story continues as Star Force branches further into the galaxy. More battles, new allies and a big surprise and that links/supports the original story premise is revealed in this book. In my opinion, this surprise provides more satisfaction towards the original story line. Now, off to book 7 :-)

Don't usually write reviews; but this series rates one. Excellent character development with no one character dominate. Good storyline, even though there is more combat than story development for me. I have read the books in order which I would recommend for everyone. I'm only through book 6; so more to go; that my friends is the way a "good reads" should be. Enjoy the series, I sure am. 😁

Good series! Lots of time I get bored or overloaded by a series. I enjoy this series. Only negative I have about the series is the size of the books leading to very many short books. I see the reason for as each book is a different time or situation. If you like science fiction especially those involving space as I do, then this series is for you.

Getting better with more races added

Getting better as more races added. Races are both friends and enemies. Excellent variety in the new peoples as the archon's gain in strength and status.

Good story

Good job on this part of the story. Bringing in a dragon, what a kick! Did not find any misplaced or wrong words. I mentioned to a friend this evening that finding them was sorta like an Easter Egg hunt.

SD - OP

I really can not stand the human favoritism the author gives in how thousands of aliens can die but no humans on star force every really some times unnamed chacthers but never named really annoying.

Like the variation of stories

Like how the author slips into some fun side stories that are entertaining but not hard core SIFI. Twenty four books in and still entertaining.

Very good reading

Unique contact with one of the original races. An example of what real warfare can be. Also hope for greater understanding of the alien defense system.

the series gets better

The series is getting a lot better or twist and turns along the way an expanding universe senses in front of them. I look forward to reading more books.
