Image if you will you’re Sydney Stratton and you’ve just gotten divorce from an over-controlling marriage with Anthony Davenport, a guy who previously getting married who thought would be a woman’s dream HEA relationship.
You’re now left to fend for yourself, and while you’ve got a job, you’re struggling day after day just to stay alive and pay the rent. Then out of the blue, you’re meeting with an attorney who’s telling you the biological father you never knew, and left you his mansion and that you’re now a billionaire. I know I would have to pinch myself several times.
Of course this new found wealth came with some strings attached, like helping your father, William Drummond’s friend Jarrod, who’s been missing for thirty years and to help bring him back. Naturally you might feel he’s a ghost, but actually he’s a astral being, whose spirit is detached from his physical form. While their relationship grows, Jarrod needs some additional help, specifically from his younger brother Justin, who’s more than keen on meeting his spirit.
Are they successful in completing the task given to her by her father? Does Justin now fall for Sydney? Is what everything Sydney had to endure worth the fortune she has inherited? You’ll have to read this story to find out. All of these elements and more make for an intriguing page turning story which keeps you trying to guess what happens next for which I’m giving Ms. Harmon 5 STARS
