About the author

Michel Fiffe is the creator of the action series COPRA, published by Bergen Street Press, and the intimately surreal Zegas, collected by Fantagraphics. He's worked with Marvel, Valiant, and BOOM! and continues to serialize COPRA when he's not writing massive essays on comics of note. Fiffe has produced Bloodstrike: Brutalists (Image Comics) and G.I. Joe: Sierra Muerte (IDW) in their entirety and has recently launched a new title, Negativeland.

A super-thick issue of Copra is always a win, and this one features two awesome back up stories from Tim Hamilton and Benjamin Marra. Marra is a perfect fit for the tone and aesthetic of the series, but I was genuinely awed by just great Hamilton's story was here too.

The main feature is a complete story that fleshes out the backstory of Vita. Complete with fantastic action and layouts, Copra #25 works as a great jumping on point, or just a standalone issue to sample for those interested in the series.
