The drama continues in Addicted to A dirty South Thug 2 picking right up where you left off...Cuba was determined more than ever to stay away from the bad guys, but after being bit by the Prince bug, she realizes that she's sick and in love. Once a pretty Detective walks into his life and turns things upside down for him, KaeDee finds out the woman he married is only one of many. It all seems to break him down and forces him to be angry at the world, even his brothers. Mistakes are made and KaeDee is unable to keep it together and is quickly falling apart, but what happens when the one person he's never noticed is the one to piece him back together? In the midst of all the madness, will KaeDee see that his true soulmate had been hiding in the shadows all along. Dae's finally forced to face his problems now that he has nowhere to turn. This book was good...very well written...didn't notice many grammatical errors if any...but there were a few things that aggravated me at the same time. First off everything was on point and believable until... the part were this dude wanted to move 2 exs in with his main chick...I almost put this book down when Cuba agreed to that messy...idiotic situation. Secondly, to eat some food one of his exs made. The blonde wondered why she got sick and had complications. I was like man really!!! Oh and let's not forget Cuba turning a blind eye on the situation Daelan put her sister in. Some of these situations didn't make since to me. The ending frustrated me. All of sudden Khian thinks Cuba's an addict now...but other than that I'm intrigued by the story...but it needs to be believable...because in real life...it most definitely wouldn't go down that way!

Pretty predictable read if you follow along even just a little. Still, a few open issues but the ending was sad to me and I have a feeling one of the brothers (probably Cassidy) will be behind the Brianna mess to start with. I’m hoping in the next one she beat it and walk away just to show Khi how messed up he did her.

What kind of shit

What kind of shot was that this started out so good and now it is a buss ,no happy ending.I loved book one and this one until the end.Cuba has been thought so much that this isn't fair.A sister that slept with her boyfriend,parents that kitted her to the curb and she was finally going to get some happiness and now she is going to lose the man she loves and that loves her all because the writer couldn't come up with a better story.Thanks a lot.

I was so excited to read the second book. There were a lot of things going on and I absolutely love the book. I just don't get how Khi is so blind to the his baby moms bull shit..and im kinda upset at the way it ended..but all in all a good book ad I cannot wait for the third one to be released..come on Shan!!

Ugh man!!!!!

Good read but I ain't feeling that ending at all!!! Why it had to go like that man! I'm gonna hang in there for part 3, but didn't like that ending. I feel like Cuba has been through way too much and now this!! Then poor tang, they did all that to get bk together just so this could happen. Part one was so much better! Don't like the direction this book is going.

Wow that ending. I hope Khi know that Cuba would never do that to herself. He better fight for her as long as he did with his baby mother. I don't know how he couldn't see that Briana was off. He kept overlooking her part in all the mess.

IN THIS INSTALLMENT OF ATADST 2 I FOUND IT VERY ODD THAT CUBA WOULD AGREE TO KHI PRINCE'S F--KED UP BELIEF THAT PUTTING HIS EXES SELENA & BRIANA IN THE SAME HOUSE WITH HER WOULD MEAN THE WOMEN WOULD GET ALONG & NOTHING BAD WOULD HAPPEN/NOBODY WOULD GET HURT. BOY, WAS KHI ALL KINDS OF WRONG, YET CUBA WAS KINDA DUMB FOR AGREEING TO IT IN THE FIRST PLACE.
THE JEALOUS STRUNG OUT ON DRUGS EX CAUSED CUBA TO GET HIGH UNBEKNOWNST TO HER/AGAINST HER KNOWLEDGE & WILL, RESULTING IN KHI FINDING HER IN THAT UNDER-THE-INFLUENCE STATE, HE CAME TO THE WRONG CONCLUSION ABOUT CUBA, A WOMAN THAT HE BARELY KNEW BUT FELT THAT HE WAS IN LOVE & READY TO MARRY & HE LEFT HER INSTEAD OF HELPING HER.
DAELAN WAS STILL GETTING IN TROUBLE & ON THE RUN ENDING UP IN JAIL AFTER KHI TOLD THE POLICE WHERE THEY COULD FIND HIM. DAE INFORMED KAYDEE ABOUT THE TRAGIC MOLESTATIONTHAT HAD HAPPENED TO HIM AT THE HANDS OF THEIR UNCLE WHOM HE AND KHI HAD BEEN LEFT WITH.
CASSIDY, MY FAVORITE PRINCE BROTHER, BTW- HAD TO ENCOURAGE KHI TO VISIT THEIR BROTHER IN JAIL & DAELAN GAVE HIM AS WELL AS READERS A MORE DETAILED ACCOUNT OF WHAT THEIR PERVERTED UNCLE HAD BEEN DOING TO HIM AS A CHILD, WHICH MADE ME FEEL BADLY FOR DAELAN.

OMG! FIRE!

Part 2 picked up right where the first one ended but it only got more interesting. Trust issues, betrayal, love, jealousy....This book had it all. I was stunned by stuff that happened with all of the characters. The backstory for Daelin came out and made his behavior more understandable. Cass just got out the pen and had all kinds of stuff going on with him. Khilan and Cuba went through hell between the mess they had to deal with regarding his babies' mama's. Just when you think they've overcome all the drama...some even bigger mess pop off. I will just say this Cuba can't catch a break. One of the biggest shockers for me was the Deona story, I felt bad for KaeDee, he truly was in the dark about his wife. My interest is definitely piqued and I am so ready excited to start part 3. The cliffhangers in this book has left me craving for more. This story just keeps getting better.

The Drama is REAL

Oh Khi had worked my last nerve and the fact that he acts like he can’t see the mess that Brianna is doing is really making me sick!!!…The fact that he walked out of the restroom and left Cuba there that way without investigating anything makes me wonder why he even wants to be with her because Cuba had to deal with too much to be with this clown!!!…
Salena acts a nut, but I didn’t see her doing all the wicked things that Khi was quick to put on her!!!…
Cassidy done walked himself in some real mess, but I’m glad he showed up when he did and handled Rue because that dude was stressing me out with the way he moving!!!…
Kaedee truly got slapped with some news and I wonder how do you handle something like that because to learn you are married to someone and truly don’t know who or what they represent is a hard pill to swallow!!!…
I can’t wait to see what unfolds in the next book!!!…

I finished this book in just a few hours. That low down dirty Briana smh…I knew she was up to no good. Briana was nothing but damn trouble and she did Cuba so dirty. I knew something crazy was gonna happen to leave me blown and ready to read more. Shan has yet to disappoint me with this series. I can’t wait to learn more about KaeDee and this detectives connection. Part 3 is next…stay tuned.

As always Ms. Shan didn't hold back ANYTHING while writing the continuation of the Dirty South Thug. I enjoyed the interaction of the Prince brothers and was glad to see that Cass was let out of jail to join his brothers to attempt to continue their legacy. The bickering and fights that the brothers had going on were realistic and representative of many issues that many of us face in our everyday lives. At the end of book one I was all for throwing away the key and locking Dae up for life and letting the chips fall where they may. But surprisingly to me, Ms. Shan was able to humanize his character, making me almost against my will begin to empathize for the hand that he had been forced to deal with. Khi irritated me on a level that I don't think any other character in a long time has ever done. He had my dandruff stirring up. I absolutely hated, hated, hated the way he refused to place himself in Cuba's shoes when it came to dealing with the scandalous women from his past. He constantly gave her the short end of the stick even after she proved her loyalty to him time and time again. This woman who had no children with him never said a word about raising his daughter and her nephew(who might I add didn't have a mother as a result of the actions of Khi's brother Dae). She endured criticism and just flat out reckless behavior from his brother Khadee and yet through everything she stuck by him. After a tragic event occurs that could have resulted in the loss of her life she still didn't leave this man and gave him a pass and yet when she is at her lowest point instead of stepping up and being the man that he promised her he would be he walks away???? That just bothered me on so many levels. Why oh why tell me why the men in this world just don't know how to keep it in their pants. Cass walked out of jail knowing that he had done Tangie dirty prior to his incarceration and he still comes home and against his better judgmentdoes something that clearly would be detrimental to her emotional well-being. Overall the story wasn't a bad read and while I think I liked part 1 better, I do believe that Ms. Shan will return with the next segment and as she is known to do, SHUT IT DOWN!!! Good Job Ms. Shan I surely am sitting here anxiously awaiting to see what's next!!!

Damn

She did it again. I'm stuck after reading that amazing story and I can't remember the word for giving hints or the ending to a book or movie BUT, if you don't want me to ruin it for you stop reading right now!!! This story was so effin good. I've been waiting for pt.2 ever since I finished pt. 1! I was shakin my head and bitin my nails page after page. I am so ready for pt.3. Daelan gotta pull through, Briana gotta effin go, and that sneaky a$$ cops' motives gotta be revealed. I am ready to cry I can't believe Cuba is in that predicament. That's a real fear for me so I feel for Cuba and Khi. Good good great book Shan!

So many twist and turns omg ugh, this book had me hot. Dont get me wrong there is nothing like family but dam at some point you have to let them stand on there own, and hope that they learn from past mistakes.

Cuba has been through it all and for it to end on such a bad note, I dont know if i would be able to go back. That heffa Brianna needs to get whats coming to her and fast. As much as I love Khi I was also mad that he left Cuba the way he did.

KaeDee and his wife wow that story line was a mess but wow.

I must say that I like Crazy Cassidy also, he is so sweet, but he is also a man thats all I have to say about that.

Straight Fyahhhh y'all ....Sugar JUST can't get no better for Cuba all the drama this thirsty azz thot Briana been up too and she still getting away oh hell nawl...Cassidy done made another bad choice but i rooting for him and Tangi now these characters was so relatable and I'm loving them My boy better get it together cause he really need to catch up with Briana azz quickly Dumb ass self ....can't wait for the next cause this book was Well written and creative captured my attention and left me fiending for more EXCELLENCE. Disappointed

Oh hell no! It was good up til the end. Is Khi serious? He must be the dumbest thug ever. Any fool can see that's a set up. When would Cuba have time to get high always watching his child? I was disappointed with this ending. Brianna was grimey from the beginning because she was never concerned about her child only obsessed with Khi and he was too stupid to notice. I'm also disappointed that Cuba didn't try to fight Brianna at all. Sometimes you don't like the ending but sometimes it just don't make sense.

I would give it 10 stars

I never thought you could top the Rozalyn series but the Prince brothers and their conplex love lives are giving us a straight adrenaline rush. Who is Det. Henson's ex-husband? What will happen to Dae? Will Tangie accept Cassidy's love instead of embracing all of her pain and hate? Will Cuba get her revenge on Briana?
Will Khi stick and stay by Cuba's side? Part 3 should be filled with action as we hopefully get the answers to our questions.

The saga continues

Shan gave us another banger with the 2nd installment. Khi really needs to stop trying save everyone and focus on his relationship with Cuba. Briana is a terror and needs to be stopped, Selena I still don't trust her and feel like she will be trouble in part 3. Detective Henson gives off a bad vibe and I think she is up to something. I hope Cuba gets thru that situation and turn it up in Part 3.

Cuba was just starting to be happy and Briana just had to do something foul. I hope that Khi realizes that Briana is to blame for everything. Khi can't be that dumb to think that Cuba would just all of sudden become a junky. Cuba doesn't deserve any of the things that is happening and, Briana needs to be dealt with. I can't wait for part 3 and, I just know Dae will make it.

This book had me glued to my chair. I just couldn't put it down. But I finally put it down so I could go to bed. The next morning I went right back to reading until I finished. I'm waiting for Book 3 . I hate that Brianna corned Cuba in the bathroom and put needles of drugs in her neck and arm. When Khi walked away after seeing Cuba on the bathroom floor; I could understand. I hope that Khi and Cuba works it out. Hurry up Book 3.
