2.5 "Over too soon" Stars
I felt like I just started this one (oh wait I did like two hours ago) and I am already done with it. Oh and I'm at work so it's not like I have been reading for two hours straight either.
This one had a great start to it. Best friends, an unspoken attraction, and the one night that changes everything. Okay so great but then what it just ends....with a crazy little cliff hanger mystery thing going on.
Also how did they all meet? We get very little back story here, barely any real content just a whole lot of steam going on. No real talking about consequences or anything like that either. They just jump on into this thing with no foresight to how it may change them later.
So it was free, one of those Amazon top free picks, ya know those. And it was okay, but this isn't a book/novel/literature whatever you want to call it. This was an undeveloped story idea/ short story. However nice it was it was lacking all the same.

I liked that this book was a sexy short read. I think it stopped perfectly before starting book 2. However, some of the descriptions she used for things (Places, People) seemed very forced. It was as if an editor was like you need more descriptions or words and it was an afterthought. Also, one of the characters is a "CEO of marketing and took care of finances" - she should have said CMO and CFO instead of CEO.

Three forever friends become friends with benefits. This was a very cute, short spicy read. Unfortunately it ends in a cliffhanger. Someone is stalking her.

The emotional stakes are higher, making this story feel more intimate and personal despite the spicy premise. Kyle and Travis are distinct enough to create a compelling push-pull, and the pacing gives just enough to hook without overwhelming. A surprisingly tender, steamy exploration of friendship turning into something much more.

Lily, Kyle, and Travis have always been close. They have been best friends and have stuck by each others side even when they were in relationships and their partners hated it. For some reason Lily has started to see her long-time friends in a different light and they may just feel the same.
I am terrible about reading blurbs on books before I start them. Sometimes this works out well for me. Other times it bites me in the ass. For the longest I was a stickler that I absolutely will not read any multiple partner books. The thought of it just wasn't for me and I wasn't going to do it. It felt like cheating. Nothing in this title prepared me that it would be a MFM. My brain didn't even go that way as I began reading until it did almost at the end. What all of this rambling amounts to is this book is what made me change my review guidelines, removing multiple partners as an exemption. Could not be happier about that fact, so thank you.
I completely loved this book. It was hot, spicy, and sexy. It does end on a cliffhanger, and is a very short read. I don't want to give too much away, but it largely includes 2 settings in the book then it is over. I would love to read more about this couple and potentially get a real story out of it versus a snippet. This book feels like a prequal versus a full story. We are basically just meeting the characters and seeing if they will cross a line. Still, the cliffhanger it ends on gives enough that it could spark a real book instead.

I will read indie books sometimes because I want to read what other top 100 authors are doing, and this was one of the free top 100 books on Amazon yesterday.
This isn't great literature, nor is it pretending to be. The sexy ideas are interesting when they get to them. It is a short story that focuses on three friends who realize they are attracted to each other and act on it. We have recently divorced Kyle (who works in finance maybe?), high school art teacher Lily, and bar/club owner Travis who have known each other since high school. They really are the best people for each other; it just took them a long time to realize it.
This book could have been so much better without changing what the book wanted to be. If only the author had another person to read the story ahead of time and give real feedback, it would have helped her fix craft things easily. For example, her back story on Travis before he's actually on the page is a distinct example of telling not showing. She also has needless repeats of dialogue that read more as author sloppiness than character distraction. There are other bits in there that could have been caught if she'd had a careful reader.
Those things might not bother anyone else, especially someone wanting to read a 3-some pwp. If you are, more power to you. But they are on my mind since I'm in craft mode.
So you know, this "book" (really just a short story) ends with a small cliffhanger to tempt you to the next installment. I don't think it's one that would bother you if you decided not to continue with the series.

So I haven't really heard or read anything from this author before but when I searched her up on here and the multiple books she's written her name and a few other titles of her other books sounded familiar, I may even have a few of her books that I haven't yet read.
Anyway so I received an email of a free book by lucia Jordan, first thing that caught my eye was the cover lol I'm just sucker for covers with hot tattooed men on it lol so thought I'd download the book seeing it's free and all. Didn't think I'd get to read it but the blurb sounded interesting enough, it's my first time reading a book where they have a threesome I usually avoid those types of books fearing I'll get attached to one of the heroes and then getting pissed off when she chooses the other guy lol.
I'm so glad I did give the book a chance though, it was a tad too short but the steamy parts of it kept me reading and the ending? Yup I'll definitely buy the next book and find out what happens next.

What a story! How come something like that never happened to me:). The story was so very hot and sexy, but also leave something intense to make it even more interesting. Now, like Lily in the story I WANT MORE. Don't know if I would be able to go to bed without finding out what happens next. Strongly recommend this book to everyone who is also a fan of Lucia Jordan. Lily, Travis & Kyle have been friends for years. Then one night out of the blue the guys start looking at her differently. All I can say HOT. The guys are so in tune with her from the beginning. Let's just say she was expecting things to go like they did. Now I want to know where this going to lead. So I am off to read the complete series.

I am always skeptical about authors I have never heard of but I am SO glad I chose to download this book! It had excitement, humor and lust all together. I don't judges a book by its cover, although I really love the cover lol, I do however judge a book by its first couple chapters. I was drawn in immediately. Great book!

Sexy sexy sexy
This book is quite simply... Hot. Though it gets into the sex a little quick (not that that's necessarily a bad thing!) , it's sexy without being too vulgar. The relationships are realistic in their conflicts and/or camaraderie and the sensuality is sizzling! The thriller twist adds a perfect touch of danger. Great read!

Scorching menage with well-developed characters, romance, and a dash of adventure and suspense. While this ended on a cliff hanger it was well worth the read! Jordan spins a panty wetting tale in this one!

intriguing from the first word. Hot and sweaty page by page. Interesting mix of characters and beginning plot with a bit of mystery thrown in, hopefully the plot and mystery thickens, and the sweat continues to drip.

Hot tamales!
For a novella this was spicy and delicious! I always prefer the quiet guy, so Kyle was right up my alley! I read this in about 30 minutes, as it's the perfect sexy read right before bed.
