The Outback Midwives by Aussie author Fiona McArthur is an enjoyable read. I think I’ve only read a handful of books by this author, so I look forward to reading her backlist. Her stories are written in a way that they flow effortlessly, and her descriptions of the outback make the reader feel as though they are right alongside the character. It was not my favourite of hers, but I still had a good time reading it.
I really enjoyed this warm Aussie country dramatic romance filled story with a bounty of love, heartache, laughter and the harsh realities of life between the covers!
This may be fiction, but I cried, laughed, cringed, sighed, and felt every part of this story as if it were my reality! Fiona, your books envelope me and send me on a myriad of magical journeys each and every time I read another of them... so, thank you for putting you heart and soul and many months and years of your creativity and passion into them!
This is such a good deal from a wonderful Australian author. There is romantic drama, love and warmth as the characters battle the outback to keep patients well cared for, and there is a wonderful flow of language that keep s us glued to the page.
