Ghost of the Past #4

Believing Again

Rate this book
Christine Skylar doesn’t trust doctors. Doctors have given her nothing but disappointment and frustration. But when she meets Joseph, she decides to take a chance with him.

Joseph Hansen used to be an ER surgeon. Despite growing up in a Christian family, he has always relied on science. He believes in cold hard facts and knowledge. To him, faith is irrational.

When he finds out the secret that Christine has been keeping from him, he has to choose between the science he believes in and the woman he loves.

Again, it is a great series to follow through with all the characters from the very first book. I'm weird like that...I like to know what happens to other characters in a story, besides the main ones. With each of Trisha's books, she brings each character back to life, gives their background issues and solves new issues. This book was specific to Christine and Joseph, and their relationship with one another, the rest of the family and Christine's past. Great job Trisha on another great book!

I've almost finished reading all the books in this series...I've become so enthralled with this series. This book in particular struck a chord with me since I've experienced something similar to Christine, and believe it was my blind faith and stubborn refusal to accept a diagnosis for my life, that completely healed me. I love Trisha's style of writing, and that each book has its own very real real-life issue that many of us face. I feel so lost without another book of hers to read!

WOW, another good story in my favorite series. These friends are closer than most families and help each other more. Christine has an amazing story in this book. I don't know if this has ever really happened but I would like to think so. All things are possible with God. I'm sure positive thinking helps a lot of times. I hope we still have several books to read but they're almost all married now.

Having read all the stories in this series, I’m sorry to see it end. I got so caught up in the lives of each character I feel I’m loosing friends! I love the writers style of writing and encourage everyone to read the whole series

two thumbs up

This story was filled with more mystery and romance but it really pulled the previous books in this series into it as well. Christine and Joseph are the focus of this book and their love and trials to get to the point where they can be together.

Need a new proofreader

Loved the story but there were a lot of errors. There were spelling mistakes and grammatical errors. Also if this is supposed to be in the United States then you should change the petrol station to a gas station or convince stores to also lift to elevator

The storyline was in line with the first three but the typos were distracting.

I love this series except 1/3 of of the story is about the previous book. I like the twist in the story and how Christine and Joseph got back together.

Trisha Grace is a new author to me, and I've enjoyed getting to know her through her books.
This series was fun, suspenseful, and romantic. There were many times my heart was racing because of all the scary events which happened to this group of people.
I loved how they all come together for each other and help each other like one big family.
In the first story about Kate and Tyler, I thought it was fun to see how they worked out the guidelines regarding the mansion.
In the second book, Evelyn and Dan really had a dynamic which was crazy.
With the third story, we see a little bit our Ryan and Ashley's past. Plus, the crazy dangers from the first book show up again and we're taken on a roller coaster ride of events.
Then the last story, which isn't the last story, we get to finally read about quiet Joseph and sweet Christine. Just when you think this group can't take any more crazy events, there's more.
Wow! Trisha Grace really knows how to write suspense and action. I didn't want to put the book down. Now I need to get book number 5 in the series which covers Joanne's struggles and then wait for book 6 which is about Lydia.
I've really enjoyed this series. It kept me guessing and in edge the whole way through.
If you like suspense, action, drama, and romance rolled up in one series, then this is the series for you.

I have enjoyed all four of the Ghost of the Past series (which could also have been titled Damsels in Distress) and am looking forward to Lydia's story.
