'Put More Time on Your Side' by Jan Yager is a book that can be implemented easily & is a must for everyone to read in this age of digital multi-tasking & fragmentation. Yager who is a productivity & time management coach through this timely book convinces the reader about the realities of the digitized world & how they can use technology for their over-all productivity rather than becoming a mindless slave to it. The book is innovative, interactive, easy to understand & most importantly has minimal quotes & statistics & more 'meat' or useful how-to practices one can apply to one's life for greater time management results. This book can be very useful for the youth to make them realize their time-waster habits & to be realistic & truthful about how much of time they spend on social networking sites & reading their emails. From P.I.E simplified charts to helpful to-do lists, from confidence booster pep-talk to tips to implement when using technology, from a detailed follow but to the point bibliography to time tested time management activities - 'Put More Time on Your Side' is a must read for all who feel they are not being able to do more work or studying when these tasks should be on their top priority list. The book is short, to the point & brilliant. It's second edition has been published by St. Paul's 'Better Yourself Books Pvt. Ltd' & that is the copy which I read. The book is well-edited, a smooth read & the information in the book is not vague but relevant to the modern AI technology age. The contents & steps provided in the book can easily influence your life & can change it for the better. It is a must read especially for those students in university or college who are at the same time working & who therefore are finding it difficult to get substantial work done & to prioritize their relationships both at college & at the workplace. Topics detrimental to time management are discussed as well like obesity, lack of exercise, sedentary life-styles, depression, anxiety et al., but in a brief & to the point manner. I especially appreciated & liked this part of the text as well as the A.C.H.I.E.V.E time management technique mentioned by Yager. Yager being an eminent sociologist & motivational speaker also is very convincing as a writer & her words in this book can change the lives of many wayward individuals who procrastinate & who tend to be lax about their mission in life. Goal-directed behavior is the hallmark of this book more than just mere suggesting ways to overcome laxity at work. 'Put More Time on Your Side' is also relevant to young sociology students who want to further study this phenomenon of a world worth of individuals who can't really pull themself together & manage their time! It is a brilliant book - get your copy of this book today! Highly recommended!

am not an avid reader of management self-improvement books, but this is one that I could not put down. Even as someone who is fairly organized and productive, I learned a great deal from this book that will help me with time management as a way to increase productivity. The underlying message here, for time management, is the idea of prioritizing, which is vital, as so many of us are inundated with emails that we feel we need to answer right away. As a list maker, I was delighted to hear that Yager is an advocate of creating them. She also advocates making positive affirmations.

This book is an excellent way to kick off the summer-a time when we might want to spend more time relaxing, while still being mindful that we have work that needs to be done, and priorities we need to schedule accordingly.

Not a long read, and covers a lot of ideas. Feels like it is good for someone who is new to time management or perhaps someone with short attention span. I put the book down after reading half a chapter at a time. I appreciated the acronyms as a tool to remember details for decision making. In the end for me it was more of an idea book; less of a follow along activity book. I was hoping for more concrete suggestions but the reflective exercises and questions were helpful in thinking deeper.

The concepts outlined in this book may seem simple & "I know this". When we implement them - we can definitely realize the value add they bring. I would say - this book is a review of some of the things we can get rid of & put more time on our side.
