Lincoln Delabar #3

Blank: Apocalypse

Rate this book
**This is the third book in the Blank Series**

Life or nothing.

For Lincoln Delabar, the choice meant more than the words. His life was a wreck. The one thing he held dear, lost from him, and for all he knew, never to be found again.

The pain of that loss fed a fever in him that, if allowed to extinguish, would cool to a loneliness that nothing could comfort. He had to try, even if it cost him his life.

The Threads of his world led to a place no one else could see. A place filled with darkness and evil.

And her.

But the fate of many more were tied with thin Threads. Linc’s strength, and his weakness, the only thing keeping the balance. A balance threatened by a psychopath all too familiar to him. The one man Linc knew better than any other in his life. The man who was his twin, yet nothing like him.

And this twin would bring the Apocalypse. If Linc could not stop him, all he held dear would be lost.

Forever.

Richard C Hale has written a series that not only entertains you while you read, it will always stay with you.
How I have loved this series. From the moment Lincoln Delabar was born he found a place in my heart, this little boy with no face. What an amazing journey it has been since. From baby to boy to teenager then man, he has evoked every emotion I have. I have cried with joy and grief for him.
The last novel, Threads, was left as a cliffhanger which for me I really loved. I enjoy the anticipation of a new book even more if I know that the last one had a gripping end as I hope that the new one will start with a gripping beginning. Richard Hale doesn't disappoint. Apocalypse runs as smooth as clock work from Threads. The threads play a major role in this novel too but with a determination and fight in Linc that hasn't been matched anywhere before. The vivid descriptions of the worlds and their inhabitants puts every word you read into motion in your mind. I honestly think Richard Hale has left the best thread until last. Action packed, thrilling and the most heartfelt so far with a brilliant end, or is it? This book is part of a series, not a stand alone novel.
I wish to thank Richard Hale for an ARC copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

More than Love

Enjoyable serious yet lighthearted at times. Most enjoyable. Thriller with a twist. Something to read that is unique. More than Love - I really liked it when they said that - it’s all any of us have ever wanted

Frustrating series

I read the whole series, but still not sure what it was about. I found parts hard to follow and grasp. Guess I need to read more sci do stories.

This is the 3rd book in the series and you really do have to read them all in order. I have read the complete series this month and loved them all. The first one was such a rollercoaster of emotions and hooked me in straight away. The main character Linc has evolved throughout, you go through his young years through to adulthood where he has a career. He is a guy without a face who just wants me to accepted and to feel loved. Sometimes I found it hard to believe he loved two people, but that is just because I wanted him to be with Avril. This book is about he fighting for his daughter Savannah and trying to reunite her with her mother. He has to travel between dimensions and has lots of trouble along the way, and lots of help from familiar friends. He needs to save the world aswell as what he loves in the world and he has to do this whilst fighting.. Himself (evil twin version). Open yourself up to these books and you will be pleasantly surprised. I was unsure whether I would enjoy these as they are completely different what I usually read, but I loved them from the start. Richard C Hale is a fantastic author and I have enjoyed every book I have read. Give it a go you won't be disappointed.

I was given a copy of this book and in return I am writing my honest review. Blank: Apocalypse is a thrill ride that keeps your heart pounding and your blood boiling as your nerves reach a fever pitch!

This book shows the reader how Blank has developed into a strong and resilient man with incomparable powers. These powers serve him well as he travels from thread to thread and meets his clones, some good and others not so good. He finds himself waging war on creatures that threaten the world and must save everyone while he searches for his daughter, Savannah, who these creatures have taken. He meets foes he needs to destroy and makes friends when he saves their lives along the way.

Richard C Hale has done it again with book three! He has the innate ability to create unforgettable characters and incredible scenes that makes the reader feel as if he/she are in the middle of the action. I found this to be an enjoyable and fast read that I didn't want to end. Hope to see more in the future.

I recommend all Richard C Hale's books if you love action, excitement, and want to feel as if you were right in the midst of it all.

This last book in the tale of Blank is full of action and heartache. It is also the shortest book in the trilogy, but it is understandable as you just jump right in to the story. There is no need to develop of the characters or establish what’s going on. If you’ve read Blank: Threads, you want to get right back into the story anyway, to see what happens next. Linc lost a part of himself that he can’t live without at the end of the last book. His entire life is in shambles. What’s a man, even one with so many special abilities, to do if the face of such great odds. Talk about have to fight yourself, literally.

I loved this book. It was a fitting end to Linc’s story, though I hope there’s still more to tell. It is a bittersweet end. I was completely taken off guard. I really did not see it coming, but after looking back at it, I understand why it had to end the way it did. I only hope that Linc can find a long period of peace before his next adventure.

I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. I was not compensated for my review, and I was not required to write a positive review. The opinion expressed here is my own.

This is the third book in the 'Blank' series, and in my opinion is by far the best of the three! It is worth noting that
it really needs to be read in sequence with the first 2 books otherwise it doesn't make sense.
The lead character, Linc, has now developed into a truly amazing and unique person, he has developed his powers, but
also his vulnerabilities and he pays a very high price for his efforts to save the
worlds that he visits. This leads to a very powerful and moving storyline which really rockets along, I
found it very difficult to put down.
The second book took the story in quite an unexpected direction including a period in a totally alien world (one of
the 'Threads'referred to in the title), and for me it didn't work as well, but most of this book is set in a world that
is more like the real world, and I think this actually makes the episodes that occur more surreal and thrilling.
In my opinion this book is a must-read for anyone who has read the first 2 books.

OMG!!! Book three totally rocks!! If you haven't read books one and two STOP NOW!!! To really appreciate this series and understand Lincoln Delabar, AKA Blank you need to start at the beginning.
Now let's jump into book three. We pick up right where two left off. Lincoln is still in Afreel's world with Coton and Savannah still missing, kidnapped by the crazed and evil Linc. Now our Linc has to decide what to do, return Coton to his world or leave him there and search for Savannah. What follows is a tale of love, loss, life, death and trying to stop an apocalypse in a world in another thread. To me this is the best of the three and I really hope Mr. Hale decides this isn't the end of Linc's journey. It deserves more than a 5.

Apocalypse is the third and (maybe) final book in the Lincoln Delebar series. It is also hands down the most emotional. This story was non-stop action with Lincoln solidifying his hero status. While there were several new characters introduced in this book we also got to spend time with old favorites. Certainly Lincoln Delebar is a hero with a lot of heart that I will miss. I think the author wrote a great ending, open just enough that he could easily revisit this character in the future.

Well! BLANK...He's amazing. The books are brilliant. Read from the 1st & go through all you can imagine! His childhood then teens. Into young adulthood & work. Alien scenes Yes sounds odd but def fit! The story of Savannah & love for her. Now he's fighting for her & himself. Evil has reached its peak! Brilliant read & just didn't want his tale to end

Great adventure and drama.

The final in the Blank trilogy has more action and personal drama as it reaches it conclusion. Some parts did feel too similar to the second novel but this doesn't distract overall. My only criticism is the character's ability to fly. This made him more like a superhero and tended to lessen the urgency of his quests. Overall a very good read.

Not the end

This story continues even if it's in my own mind. Outlandish fiction but it leaves me with hope for us.
