Terri Bell had a reputation for living up to her name. She was terrible, but no one gave her a reason not to be. Her mother left her, her father abused her and her brother was taken from her.
Shawn Holmes came to town for only one reason, but that changed when he met the girl across the dirt road. She was just what he needed to keep his head on straight and finish what his father started.
But someone is watching Terri and Shawn. Someone they never should have messed with.

Hi readers! I'm Ash Glass, author of Terrible. It is my debut novel and I hope you like it as much as I liked writing it. I am twenty something years old, a total book lover, and have always wanted to be an author, if only to be able to wear the title. After one book though, I'm hooked and I'm positive you'll see more books from me soon. When I'm not working, reading, or writing, you can find me watching superheroes on TV or snacking on popcorn at the movies. Feel free to add me as a friend and leave an honest review - please! - I love good feedback (-:
Happy reading!

This book is so so good! It's dark, sexy, scary and sweet all rolled into one. Romance with a crazy twist! Terri is a bad-ass heroine and Shawn is her perfect compliment. The bad guy is super crazy and twisted. I liked the multiple POV of Terri, Shawn and the bad guy. Although there isn't really a cliffhanger, the potential for more is there, I hope! Definitely pick this up, I'm glad I did! 5 stars.

“He was the star of my nightmares.”

To say the villain is unhinged is an understatement; more like a bonafide psycho. Dude doesn’t need therapy, he needs isolation in a padded room because no one’s safe with him free to exact “justice” for anything he deems offensive. Did I mention he’s delusional. This proved to be an easy read with tons of entertainment value. It’s a light thriller where young adults play pretend as Sherlock Holmes- gone wrong. Sometimes I thought the entire cast of characters were crazy but the "sane" ones were just a bit less than all the rest. I felt as if the story was believable because the resources used by the main characters to go “Sherlock Holmes” was realistic in what some average people could have at their disposal. The voices of the characters and the writing is more raw than other writers I’ve read but possesses no less appeal on my bookshelf to supply a demand for a particular type of mood. If I had to quantify that mood, I would call it somewhere between a comical-light thriller with attitude, but not so much bite, you fear to read it at night. Unless you know someone named Marcus, or like Marcus. Then it might creep you out. Otherwise, I thought the protagonist was hilarious and my laughter frequently marked the atmosphere throughout my whole experience. It’s not a perfect story, but it’s a good story and should be used as it was intended for: fun. The writing, to me, was reminiscent of J.A. Redmerski, and people love her. Thus, I think many people would enjoy this story when the mood strikes.

The first half of the book introduces all the characters, of course, but primarily fixates on Terri and her love interest, Shawn. The second half of the book focuses on Terri and her relationship with the villain, Marcus. There is insta-love but I thought it worked. Unlike most people, I think insta-love can work depending on the circumstances. Sometimes you just know when you meet someone; the possibility totally exists. I really liked the down-to-earth sense of humor Terri consistently displayed. It acted her age and really showed Terri’s roots and her personality. She’s not a bad person, just from a bad background born into a bad family. Very consistent with everything that makes this book tick. I loved the ending too. I thought it wrapped everything up nicely with the feeling of possibility for more, but not on a cliffhanger. The tone of the atmosphere of how the story ended was my favorite. I liked how there were a couple of twists and how easy it was to hate the villain(s). It's a pretty solid, thin line on who I hate more because they were both so evil!

A big DNF ugh seriously I only got to page 44 when I decided to not even put myself through the rest.

The book started off ok... We get introduced to the H and her home life. You quickly get sucked in to drama, which was awesome for me! So we learn that she has an abusive past with her dad and then she almost gets raped by a stranger on the street 🤭 but then ya lose me when after a day of meeting our Hero they’re dating and she has complete trust in him 🤔 yeahhhhh that’s believable. Smh there just was no build up and I just couldn’t get into it.
