It was very easy to allow myself to get distracted while reading this. Normally when I read, I devour a book. I can't say it was necessarily that the book wasn't entertaining; it was. It just wasn't terribly captivating.

Additionally, there were some small issues. The storyline felt a bit contrived in places and a bit phony in others. Some of the dialogue was a bit stilted and awkward. There were unnecessary details added throughout the story that seemed like they might be important but ended up just being pointless. Finally when the story looked like it would get captivating, I turned the page to find the epilogue. Abrupt was the ending to say the least.

However, looking past those picky (on my part) flaws, I really liked the main characters, Vivian and Easton. I'm not thrilled about how fast they fell for each other, but it really didn't seem completely unbelievable. They were sweet. I loved how the male/female differences to the beginnings of relationships were put on display, as though the author wanted Easton to seem real. He was neither a jerky douche nor a too-good-to-be-true, sensitive douche. He was just a guy from a good family who fell for a broken-hearted girl.

Which brings me to my next point. Where was the bad boy? If you are going to advertise a bad-boy novel, wouldn't it be wise to, in fact, have it contain a bad boy? Easton possessed not even one bad boy characteristic. No motorcycle, no tattoos, no manwhore-ish ways, no unfortunate (no doubt trumped-up) police record, no broken home or sketchy past. Nada. Just a gorgeous guy with a great body from a great family who treats women respectfully. Hmmm. He's basically a unicorn in most of the modern romance novels.

Without all the distractions, both in the book and outside it, I may have liked it better.

I really enjoyed this book. It was fun, sexy and an easy read. I really enjoyed Viv and Casey's friendship. The characters had fun together and mixed well together. I just wished there was more to the story, I didn't it want it to be over so fast.

OMG- I LOVEDDDDD this book!!!

Easton is my newest book boyfriend!!! H-O-T as HELL!!!!
Not only hot, he is amazing, caring, smart, giving, and just your all time kind of guy!!!!

Easton and Vivian are perfect together and I am so glad that he didn't give up on her when she was being a pain in the ass. That shows you how awesome he truly is. I can fall in love with someone like him quick!!!! This was another amazing book by Claire Adams.

These are some of the first book that I have read by her, and it seems I can't get away from them , they are all so awesome so far.

Thanks for another great read Claire!!!

I purchased this book on Amazon for .99 cents and it included the book 25 Days, great deal!

Vacation – This is my first book by this author. The writing was pretty good and it was a good story. Easton is a resort critic who is traveling to Miami for his job. Vivian is a senior in college heading to Miami for spring break when she runs into Easton at he airport. They end up staying at the same resort and like what they see in each other. She is coming off a very bad break up with her boyfriend of 10 years and has trust issues. He is very much married to his job and hasn’t a lot of time for relationships. They spend time together and decide to see each other when they get back to NY. There is a nice Epilogue set one year after also. The only thing I didn’t like about the story line is he has a puppy. No one with a job like his can take proper care of a dog. It just seems a poor choice in the story line. It’s an enjoyable read but some of the wording they used was a little unrealistic in their dialogue but I put it to there being “writers” and would talk that way? I give it 3.5 stars.

25 Days - Chloe has graduated college and is going home to Aspen for the Christmas holidays to her estranged fathers house. Finn is pretty much the town man whore who is really going nowhere working for his father shoveling snow. He wins you over with his heart of gold to be content because his father needs him. Chloe wants her rich father to help her start a clothing line and Finns dream is to open a resort one day with little hope of it becoming a reality due to lack of money. She sees beyond the reputation he has and decides she could have a life with him in Aspen rather then going back to California. Families and friendships are repaired and futures are planned. It’s a cute story however it needs an editor to help make the reading of the story not so confusing at times. 3.5 stars.

This is one of my favorite Claire Adams books along side Power, Stepbrother FML, Destroy, Slammed series you get the picture. I loved the sexy dark haired Easton that came into Vivian's life when she was at one of ber lowest points. A Hot, sexy and beautiful love story.

Another win for Claire Adams in what I would say a RomCom if I came across it on Hallmark or a similar channel :). I found the main character,Vivian to hold true to what I believe to be a fairly realistic read as far as an HEA. She has recently had her heart crushed and broken up from a long term relationship with Jackson due to his wandering ways. She has a fantastic best friend in Casey who is there through both good and bad. Viv is working on her college degree and knows what her final goal is for the perfect career. She is trying her best to do everything in her power to become a food critic.

With the end of the long term relationship to her childhood sweetheart she is stuck with the Valentine's Day trip they'd planned to Miami. She and Casey convert that trip and use it to head to Miami for Spring Break! Chaos ensues on the mad dash to the airport and the story unfolds from there on out. She runs head on into a very strikingly handsome Easton who is on his way as it would turn out to Miami.

From the initial airplane ride to the resort, oceanside beaches, clubs, and restaurants this story should win you over.

I COMPLETELY LOVED IT !

I LOVED Easton and Vivian. Vivian had her problems due to the fact that her boyfriend (Jackson the jack a*s)of ten years had been cheating her the whole time. So she had trust issues and didn't want to jump into another serious relationship or any relationship at all. Even though she and Easton were great together. They were H-O-T HOT together especially in the epilogue! ;D
I REALLY LOVED THIS BOOK IT WAS WONDERFUL!!!! :D <3

This story just seemed to go on and on. Yes Jackson cheated on Vivian but she made moving on more complicated than it had to be. Easton is a really nice guy. He is also a famous, successful and caring resort critic who really cares about Vivian. But Vivian keeps giving Easton the run around because of her insecurities.

Vivian has trust issues after her ex jackson cheated on her, i liked that Easton her new possible guy was understanding but hated how her friend cassie n her ex jackson wanted her to just get over it a month after discovering the cheating.

I just couldn't get into the book. This a first time read of this author for me and I stopped half way through. It wasn't overly captivating. Easton was a good enough MC but Viv not so much. So many things "went wrong" in the first few days on vacation and that's 20% into the book. She gets her heartbroken, friend gets hurt on the beach, parents get divorced, met great guy but unsure, friend disappeared overnight at a club. Come on already! Oh wait she ran into her ex at said club on vacation too. So many things in a weeks time. I need a mental health break from just reading all of it. Ugh.

I found this book very delightful and extremely touching. Of course as with all her books there is some steamy romance involved but the storyline was touching. This book will bring memories back to you about your own heartbreaks. I enjoyed how Claire made them both guarded and vulnerable but yet strong minded at the same time.
When Vivian finds her boyfriend of 10 years cheating on her with another woman she is left completely devestated and not sure how to pick up the pieces of her life again. She then becomes extremely guarded with her heart thinking all men are the same....cheaters. Then her friend Casey makes her go on a vacation to Miami, of course Viv wants no part in going and thinks it will be a mistake to go and end up in disaster. Well she literally runs into Easton at the airport, then discovers he is will be beside her in first class on the flight and then runs into him at the hotel. She is determined to get through this vacation, pick up her life and go and make her future career successful. She discovers her and Easton have a whole lot in common all the way to their majors in college are the same...
Easton is guarded because He has put so much into his career that he doesn't see anything else as important as that. When he runs into Vivian at the airport his world is rocked off its axis because he finds himself infatuated with her and wanting to listen to her forever. When he keeps running into her over and over he feels like it's fate bringing them together but its his on desires that pulls him to her and causes him to make his move. These two become close and have a few passionate days but Viv's guarded heart causes her to second guess everything and she pushes him away. Easton doesn't give up and shows her that He can love her and treat her like she deserves...He wants to give her the world. Together these two help each overcome their own guarded issues and leaves us with a touching heartfelt story.

Good

Vivian just broke up with her cheating boyfriend and her friend Casey is dragging her on a vacation in Miami. She bumps in to a hot guy twice and he's also on his way to Miami. Will fate bring them together?
It was a sweet book with hot lovemaking at times.
I would have enjoyed the book more if I didn't feel like Easton (hot guy) was very indecisive about what he wanted from Vivian in the beginning of the book.
Sometimes I felt like the story was all over the place there was so much happening and then suddenly it was a stop in the progress of the story.
But other times the story got to me and I could feel that I got dragged in to the book.
4 stars.

25 DAYS
Chloe is going to Aspen for a month Christmas vacation with her dad and brother. When she meets the towns playboy Finn she's attracted to him but what she don't know is that her father and Finn's father are not seeing eye to eye. How will it go when Chloe and Finn find together?

I liked the story and it had some fun, hot scenes and intrigues. The characters was well written and I thought the storyline was good.

I think this story was more structured then the previous and I liked the characters better but it didn't give me the feeling of reaching my heart and soul so it's a good 4 star read.

I rarely give a book a total of five stars, but I have opted to do it for this book since it was a fun read.

I won't come and say this is the best book ever and try to sell it to you like many other people do in their reviews and then when you read well you find yourself disappointed, but I will say for my liking it was pretty good I laugh quite often and for once I didn't find myself thinking about wanting to hurl a book at someone's head and that's a lot to say lol..

I love the sweet flow of this story and how it wasn't so overly dramatic making this book fun to read I got to say the the Heroine's bestfriend make me giggle a few times on this book, but also the main H's brought life to the story. To me it was well written with a few minor glitches here and there but not so noticible, I just happen to notice things so much lol.

I'll definitely be looking put to read more on Claire Adams books.

Ps. Like the free book included inside this copy

Vivian and Easton are great together! One sees it pretty much right away and the other takes their time and has some understandable doubts. first off i have to say if i was Viv i don't think i would be able to even have 1 date with a guy so soon after she was dumped after she found her boyfriend cheating on her but she managed to do it and have a good time. I love how Viv has Casey (her BFF) to make her laugh and keep her from being an old lady that doesn't want to leave the house. that's what a good friend does after you've had a really bad time of it lately. Easton is just a pretty much (he works too much!) complete lovely package from the top of his head to his toes and he has a great personality to boot. needless to say i enjoyed this book :)

I received this book as an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Aww and wow are 2 words that come to mind now that I've finished the book. I loved the 2 main characters, Vivian and Easton. All the supplementary characters were good too Casey, Easton's mom & dad and Jon Easton's boss. I love this author's style of writing. I felt so bad for Vivian when she discovered (no spoilers) her ex boyfriend's secret.

Vivian and Casey have been friends forever and Casey convinces Vivian to go with her for spring break. They will both be graduating soon and what a better way to get over an ex than spring break with your bestie.

Then she bumps literally into Easton in the airport. The rest from there is "fate" as Easton says often.

I thought their story was touching, hot and well paced all the way through the book. I hope there's more to come on their story!

Great job!

Vacationing is the only way to chase away the blues!

What a story! I received this as an ARC in exchange for an honest review and it did not disappoint!

This is a love story that follows Easton Parks and Vivian Hall. Easton is a career obsessed young man looking for love and Vivian is a college getting over the highest heartbreak of her life! When she and her BFF Casey decide to take a Spring Break trip to Miami to get over her 10year relationship break up fate steps in and she literally drops into Easton's life. From there they get to explore going from friends to lovers in one of the most special ways. Having been cheated by the Ex for almost three years before finding out has Vivian on high alert but can she overcome being insecure with the new guy long enough to really see what his intentions are?

Such a beautiful love story with a few steamy scenes.

Finding Love without looking

I love how Finn and Chloe fight against the strings that are pulling them together. They push and pull at each other until they can't anymore and there's no stopping it. Ain't love grand? Even after tragedy hits, they work through their problems, set some family members in line, and fall deeper in love than they ever dreamed. Dreams really can come true if you just open your mind and heart to the possibilities. I hope to see more about Brian in the future, that seems like a man that needs love to come bite him in the tail and knock him on his face.

Great standalone read

I loved this book! It was well written and it gave me a roller coaster ride of emotions that I think is important to keep every reader coming back for more. I really liked how it wasn't just Finn who changed but Chloe changed as well. They had a quick fall and didn't present selfishness in their love. They were willing to go the distance for each other, no matter where life took them. Beautiful!

Gifted an ARC for a honest review.......
Boy meets girl, boy meets girl, boy meets girl......again and again. Fate, Luck, or What??? Easton and Vivian run into each other..a lot. what happens from there? Interesting story, well developed chapters, a few surprises thrown in, for good measure. I enjoyed the book. An easy, peasy, light read.

Quick read, typical girl catches long time boyfriend cheating and meets new guy. I like the book all in all, they both had lots of hang ups about themselves and relationships that they never seemed to really discuss with each other and just assumed a lot of things but of course in the end there was HEA. So if you are looking for a quick read with some sex going on, this book is for you.

this book was like pulling teeth and i couldnt finish it. It lacks depth or anythign to draw the reader in, I couldnt get the incite. The whole professional food tasters was just cringeworthy.
I did expect was a bad boy romance, and id love to know exactly where that was in this book because Easton was not a bad boy!! total opsite!! shame!!

The story was a good story line however it was an abrupt ending almost like there was a due date coming up for publishing or something. The end seems unfinished... and the story is only 48% of the book and then 25 Days takes over.. I hate when authors do that.
