How many freaking times do I need to be reminded that Llesho is the King of Thebin and the husband of the Goddess? It felt like the author thought I was too stupid to remember these things.

Slogs a bit in the middle of the series ( 2nd book) but the ending made me think about the whole series in a different light... Without many spoilers this series reminded me of Pans Labyrinth. You can read it as High fantasy...or just as an interesting war epic as told through the eyes of someone lost in fantasy.

More of the same as the first and second books. Needs editing. Main character isn't the most interesting POV. Bogs down a bit in the middle. Very well developed world. Satisfying ending that ties nearly everything up ("Nearly" due to the existence of 4th book by Benjamin, which isn't part of the Seven Brothers trilogy, but is set in the same world).

I really enjoyed the book a lot.. I would have liked the Character to be more of a Hero Villain, as i see it, he has suffered through slavery, death of parents, his best friend dying and coming back to life and a lot of other things.. he should be a lot messed up psychologically... even though there was death, there should have been more... this book is a good read.. but if the author would have decided to make it more mature.. this book would have been one of the best... sooo in short, great read, but it could have been better... there should have been more Adult/mature events...

Great conclusion to the trilogy. Mr. Benjamin's writing style has improved greatly from the first book in this series. My only complaint is that the passage of time is not clearly stated, and although the series implies that the story happens over several years, it seemed more like one year, tops.

Pretty standard fantasy fare really. Some interesting aspects to the world, but it didn't have the feeling of depth of people like Erikson, Jordan or Martin, and certainly didn't have anything like their cast of characters

It might not be too profound, but I got hooked immediately. And apparently I'm not the only one. All in all, this was one of the most entertaining books that I've read.

Prince Llesho quest always gets worse before it gets better. It is a race to find his last 2 brothers before his hated enemy. There is great adventure and mysteries to be solved. Great 3rd book!!!

The buildup to the climax is decent through the first 400 pages, but the climax almost seems like an afterthought.
