Eye See You… Book 2 in the Patricks' Brothers series
Brookes Patricks’ isn’t an easy man to deal with. Years spent enlisted in the U.S. Military had played a significant part in molding him into the successful, yet domineering man he is today. On leaving the Military, Brookes started up his own Private Investigation and Security Company, EyeSee. Determined to succeed, no matter the cost, Brookes hadn’t factored in a margin of error for unforeseen complications.
Harper Cox is a beautiful, intelligent, independent woman who became the bane of his existence when he was eight years old and that hadn’t changed. Worse still, Harper is becoming an increasingly dangerous complication, one Brookes couldn’t afford. She may be the epitome of everything Brookes wanted in a woman, but, unfortunately, that didn’t change the fact that if ever there was a woman who was off limits to him, it was her.
Just as Brookes is about to severe their tentative connection once and for all, Harper finds herself thrust into a deadly situation that requires him and his brothers to intervene to save her life. A situation which changes the course of both of their lives in an instant.
Brookes believed he could let her go before, but now with Harper’s world is being torn apart and her life in jeopardy, he knows it's an impossible feat. More than that, there's one thing he's certain of. This time, there is not a chance in hell he’s letting her get away. She is his. To protect. To save. To love.

Born in, New Zealand, Natasha moved to Australia the year she turned eight. Growing up with a younger brother and two loving parents, it wasn't long before she realized her love of reading, creative writing, all things rock 'n' roll, concerts, ripped jeans and vintage, heavy metal t-shirts.
With the support of her husband and three children, she was able to break into the Indie Author scene with her first self-published title, Burnt, Book One in the Devil’s Spawn MC series. Since then, Natasha Thomas has gone on to write many titles in both the MC and Contemporary Romance genres, many of which have made the Amazon Bestsellers list, and become an International Bestselling Author with the release of Knight, Book 6 in the Vengeance MC series.
Well...that's a couple of hours of my life I'll never get back. What a pointless story.
The H - completely worthless douchebag of the first order.
The h - yep, you guessed, brainless doormat for the manwhore H (who kept her around for 17 years to watch his many many fuckfests, because he loved her so much) YAWN
Note to self: do not read any more books by this author, ever.
Seems like I'm a dissenter amongst all these 4 and 5 star reviews, but Eye See You only gets 2 stars from me.
My issue was that a lot of the reasoning didn't work for me... Like it seemed the hero and heroine would decide something that just didn't make sense to me. Like the hero,at the start of the book, knows the heroine is in love be with him, and he yet he still parades other women in front of her...all the while knowing it hurts her. All but once, it's off screen but it's alluded that this has happened many many times before...and seriously? He knows he's hurting her and supposedly he loves her too, so he loves her so damn much he doesn't mind breaking he heart again and again? Also, I couldn't really figure out why they were apart either. I know Ms Thomas addresses the issues, but for me, it just didn't work. or maybe it's that we got information out of order...for whatever reason I just didn't get it.
Another Case in point, and this is why I won't be reading the next book: the hero of that book, has his wife who he loves and has been missing for years, returned to him, and is a douche to her... She's been used as a chattel (among other things) and been suffering for years ( Iirc, most of her suffering is alluded to and not described very much) and instead of being thankful she's alive and well, he's an asshole. I just don't get it, and after this book, despite her writing potential, I just don't really trust Natasha Thomas to tell their story in a way that will make sense to me.
It was so good until it was not! She forgave him without real grovel (he used her for a mission without telling her the details). Just like that! They have been friends since childhood and were working on a job that required trust. He put her in a situation that was avoidable and funnily that issue was addressed by the author.
I liked this story. We get Brookes and Harpers story. Eye See You we are introduced to all the Patricks, Luca( Harpers dad) Beau, Holden, Jason, Marisa and Ebony. We get the answers to the disappearance of Harpers mom. We find out more information about Finn and his daughter Peyton's mother Keira. Finally we see Brookes and Harper claim eachother. It takes a good fifteen chapters to get them on the same page. Thomas gives us suspense, action, laughter and tears. Over all 4 Stars. This series is a different than both MC series but it's so worth reading. I am hoping Thomas will do something with Jason, Beau, Holden and Dave but if hopefully we will see them thoughout the Patrick Brothers Series. Happy Reading!
Big sigh I absolutely loved it it had me laughing crying biting my nails it was gripping from page one, Natasha Thomas has away about writing that make you fall in love with each and every character every book I've ever read as always left me wanting more she is most definitely one of my most favorite authors and I couldn't recommend her books enought , this book was amazing and loved it.
Enjoyed this series quite a bit. Did wish for a little more depth in the motivations for some pretty big decisions made by these characters. Especially why they did not tell Finn about the horror his missing wife endured. Going into Finns book I'm going into why after knowing what Durant is capable of he is not doing whatever he can to fix his relationship with Keira. Can't wait for May!
Okay this was so,so,so,so good. Brookes and Harper's story is a wonderful love story. I can't wait for Finn's story. My heart is breaking for him. Harper is such a strong woman. I just loved her. Now on to the nest book I hope it is out. This is certainly a must read series. Love this author
