This is the best Thai learners book I've used. It's perfectly pitched for intermediates, which is rare, and all exercises are supported by the Thai writing throughout, vital for the stage I'm at. Some of it was a bit simple at the start, but in all worthwhile.

This is an excellent primer for those wanting to learn Thai from scratch. It came recommended for good reason. Through ten suitably short lessons one goes from nothing to barely passable on some basic issues in the extremely difficult Thai language. I doubt there is a better starter out there.
