Story Line:

Annie Boone has penned the second novel in The Parson's Daugthers Series. In this novel, you will find Hope determined to start her own business and spread her wings.

She wants to be an independent business woman. She doesn't have time for a man or love. At least that is what she thought just as she thought she didn't need God.

Her faith in God is waxing and waning; she can't believe as sisters Faith and Charity. Sure she was raised in the same Christian home and periodically goes to Church, but she just can't connect with the community or God.

.....She didn't doubt the power of the Lord, she just wasn't sure how to grow in Him like her sisters.

Faith and Charity see God in everything; Hope not so much. She feels it is her hard work that will give her success. She is the one that has taught herself seamstress skills, and she will be the one to make her business a success.

Andrew is new in town and becomes interested in Hope. Hope's lack of commitment to God and Church is a bone of contention between them.

Characters, Plotting And Development:,

Author Annie Boone developed Hopes character skillfully as she journeys through connecting with God, her community, and Andrew.

Ms. Boone created a strong man of faith in Andrew. Andrew will not betray his beliefs by entertaining an attachment to a woman who is not solid in her faith.

....Not all men will care about your faith or lack of, I however do care.... I need a Godly woman in my life...If that's not you, then I want to break this off before either of us is hurt more than we need to be.

Andrew is a strong man who stands by his principles. I loved this about him.

This is a turning point for Hope. Hope comes to understand the faith Charity and Faith possess and realizes what is really important in her life.

Recommendation:

I liked this book. I loved that Andrew was a strong man firm in his beliefs.

It was a little slow for me in the beginning but I quickly became involved in Hope's dreams, aspirations, conflicted emotions and final resolution.

This is a clean Christian novel. I would recommend this book to anyone that likes clean Christian western romance with strong characters of faith. I feel if you like this genre as I do, you will enjoy this book and the series.

I received this novel from the author in return for an honest book review.

Hope Makes A Decision: A Clean and Wholesome Love Story ( The Parson’s Daughters
Series- Book 2 )
By: Annie Boone

Hope Makes a Decision is book two in The Parson’s Daughters series. I really love the first two books in the series. I would suggest that you read book one, Faith Finds a Way first .The story and the characters both were easy to read and follow. Ms. Boone weaves us a good clean Christian love story . She did not disappoint me. Hope and her family made the move to San Jose to be with their daughter and sister, Faith who was a Mail Order Bride in book one. This is Hope’s story , but you will still meet back up with the characters from the first book . Hope is uncertain about the move. She has her dreams of going to Atlanta to open up her a dress shop.
An Offer is made to Hope and it is one that she can hardly refuse. What is she to do? I love the Spiritual threads that Ms. Boone has running throughout the story. Hope is uncertain about her Spiritual life, but she is a parson’s daughter. Hope has some decisions to make . Will they be the right decisions ? I cant wait to read book three in this series .
I was given a copy of this book by the author for my honest review.

Hope Makes A Decision #2 The Parson's Daughters Series**** by Annie Boone

This is the second novella in The Parson's Daughters Series. It could be read as a stand-alone novella but I would recommend reading the first novella, Faith Finds Away, first. Hope, her sister Charity and their mother have now joined Faith in San Jose, California. Hope struggles with making decisions regarding how to make her dreams come true—opening her own seamstress shop. She also struggles with her faith—she learns just because she is a parson's daughter, doesn't mean she is a spirit-filled godly woman and that faith is a choice. She meets some people who may be able to help her start her own business, does she dare hope all will work out? One gentleman wants to help her and possibly be more than a business partner but they soon have challenges they need to overcome. I really enjoyed this novella and love that we revisit some of the characters from the first novella. I love the spiritual elements woven throughout the story, integrity, importance of family and faith, forgiveness and love. I love before dinner prayer 6 year-old Joseph says at one of the meals.

~I received an e-book copy of the novella from the author, (no monetary gain were exchanged), this is my honest review~

I received an ARC copy from the author in exchange for an honest review.
I wasn't sure about reading this book at first because of the religious beliefs it presented. With an open mind of reading I can say it was good. It didn't change my beliefs but it was a good read all the same. It was a romantic read and you saw the love for family and friends throughout the story.
