Color Her Red #2

Color Her Punished

Rate this book
The devastating aftermath of a brutal attack has left Emma's life in ruins and she has submitted to the darkness, leaving her husband, Thomas, behind. She's convinced she doesn't deserve happiness and has buried her heart in blame and anger.

Although Thomas has given her time and space to heal, he refuses to let Emma leave him. He's willing to do whatever it takes to have Emma in his arms again. His only concern is once he gets her back, will she be the same woman he once loved?

This is book 2 of the Color Her Red series - although it is not necessary, it is strongly recommended that Color Her Red be read first.
For those readers who are worried - Emma and Thomas will finally get their Happily Ever After This book contains strong language and sexual situations that some readers may find offensive; others, like me, find it hot.  Enjoy!

First of all, the author was kind enough to give me a copy.

Second, this is a very emotional charged story from beginning to end. I find myself feeling the same emotions that the characters are having. Emma is such a complex person, going through a lot with her emotions and Thomas is kind of lost in finding out how to help her through it all.

I have read the first book in the series a few times and each time I do, I find more things out that missed the first time. I know that will be the same with this story. It needs to be savored and reread to full grasp all the meanings going on within the story.

I have to say that it was a great story, one I couldn't put down and didn't really want to end.

This is the emotion sequel to Color Her Red. I would not recommend reading this book until you have read the first part of the story. This part deals with the aftermath for Emma and Thomas. They had a horrible situation with a women determined to destroy their marriage.

Emma is in a very bad place emotionally and retreats from her husband, her family and her best friend. I really like that Thomas does not give up on her and keeps working to reclaim their relationship. It is a tough battle.

I really enjoyed the story It is a very emotional story that will have you crying too.

I received a copy in return for a honest review.

Falling in love with Thomas was like a fairy-tale for Emma! Her best friend, Kate, and her were just out having a girls day and fate intervened. Some spilled coffee and a year later, the playboy bachelor settles down. Like all fairy-tales, there's someone who is evil...Lillian... Can Thomas & Emma survive her? Along with the aftermath & devastation that occurs... Can they pick up the pieces or are they broken forever? No, this isn't a fairy-tale book in any way. Yes, they love each other! This book is emotional, suspenseful, happy, sad...if you want an emotional roller-coaster ride, that's different and has some hot scenes...grab this up!!!
