I thoroughly enjoyed reading Bakwas. As well as it being an excellent and action packed story full of native american algonquian legends it also gave an insight into more characters from the Wolf Born Saga. I love how it tells the story of not only Seth & Kyle's family but also of Carly's too. I liked the little nod to things as far back as the beginning of Wolf Born. All in all and excellent read once again.

After reading the first 5 chapters, I was not too impressed by this book, as it seemed to be very slow, this continued for another chapter or two before it finally picked up and became quite interesting.
The pace of the action itself did not change very much, but the content became more interesting the further on I read.
After finishing this, I would recommend this to people who need something small to read and enjoys books based on werewolves and supernatural myths.
