This is my favorite in the series! I loved Daphne and Dexter together! I absolutely love the way Dexter feels about Daphne- she is definitely different and more special to him than any of the girls he dated before. He is a bit of a serious nerd and has always dated serious, plain girls that he never had sparks with. He felt Daphne was out of his league which is so refreshing since most books have manwhore H's and have the h feeling lucky to tie him down to only her. Dexter was not a casual sex guy and had been celibate almost 2 years! Daphne fell hard for him and it was so sweet watching him realize they could have something together! This is a delightful story and we get nice glimpses into Collin and Tabitha's future and Daphne and Dexter's future. I want more of Cal and Grey!!!

I absolutely loved getting the opportunity to read the #ThreeLittleLies series again! Sara Ney is a master at creating realistic new adult stories. In Things Liars Fake, it’s Daphne’s turn to tell a lie. Quite frankly, I found her lie to be the tamest of them all. Don’t forget, Tabitha lied about her passion (writing) and Greyson created an entirely fake boyfriend. Ah, I loved those stories. And I loved this one just the same.

So anywho, Daphne meets Dexter and can’t keep her eyes of this seemingly innocuous, adorkable hottie. Shoot, the way he was described, I’m not sure I’d be able to resist him either. However, Dex was completely clueless to Daphne’s beyond obvious attraction. An innocent non-date turns into Dex asking for a fake date and that’s the lie. It was more Dex’s lie and Daphne played along. It was sweet, cute, fun, and surprisingly sexy watching these two fumble around each other. Told with Ney’s familiar quirkiness and sarcasm, I couldn’t help but love each and every awkward moment.

Whether you’re a fan of new adult, young adult or even old adult (is that even a thing?), I can’t recommend this series enough. It’s three short novellas that tell three wonderful stories about characters who were easy to love and root for. And with this last book, the author gave us the sweetest ending!

Have to luv Dexter's needy way.

I ve really enjoyed this series and this book was a great end to the series. I really liked Dexter and Daphne they were so cute and suited each other so much. Dexter is a nerd but a very sexy hot nerd he always dresses smart and Daphne luvs this about him she is attracted to him straight away. But Dexter being Dexter makes things a lil awkward he doesn't know how to tell her how much he likes her and makes a few mistakes but shes not goin to let him get away she will do anything to get his attention. Daphne is very sexy and Dexter see this straight away but he is used to being with boring girls and girls that have great jobs. Daphne is different ye she as a great job but there is something about her. He doesn't want her to see him as a plain guy he's fed up of that if he only knew what she thought. I really enjoyed this book. Like I ve said in my other reviews for this series I really enjoyed the writing. I found the story funny in parts Dexter's twin sister are so funny and keep both Dexter and Daphne on there toes. I can't recommend this series enough I ve really enjoyed it and the ending was just perfect.

**4.25 Stars**

Super cute and sweet novella with a perfect, nerdy hero and a nerd in hiding heroine. They were so funny and charming together. I enjoyed seeing Grey and Cal and Tabitha and Collin and where they are now. While I really enjoyed this one much more than the second one, the first book in this series is still my favorite.

Things Liars Fake is the final standalone in Sara Ney’s Three Little Lies novella trilogy, and it’s just as cute as the other stories.

Take the unlikely pairing of an adorkable hero and a babelicious heroine—who also embraces her inner nerd—and you have a winning couple. Daphne is a lovely character. She shows nothing but affection toward Dexter, so I found it difficult to understand Dexter’s extreme insecurities. He could use a few lessons in wooing women and picking up on romantic signals, and yet that makes him rather endearing.

While I enjoyed Dexter and Daphne, some of the other characters are too over the top for my taste. I’m looking at you, Dexter’s mom, Aunt B, and douchey cousin. I’m sure those who are in the mood for raucous humor would enjoy them, though. Count on Dexter’s crazy/sweet/scary twin sisters to shake things up a bit.

Things Liars Fake might be a somewhat predictable romance, but I enjoyed the fun slow burn that this novella offers.

3.5 Dorky stars.

This one might be my favorite out of this series. I loved how dorky these two were and how Dexter lacked confidence and Daphne kept pursuit of making Dex finally ask her out… FOR REAL. This was just plain cute.

Things Liars Fake is totally nerd-alicious, featuring friends of Tabitha and Collin from Things Liars Hide.

Daphne and Dexter on the surface appear to be complete opposites, Daphne is outgoing, sociable and stunning while Dexter is introverted, a loner but still stunning even though he doesn't see it himself. I love how Sara flips the stereotypes with this series, making the guys insecure about their physical appearance while the girls are quietly confident in their allure.

Dexter completely embraces his nerd-like qualities from the way he dresses to his obsession with all things sci-fi. While Daphne's personality hides her inner sci-fi geek. Seriously you couldn't get two people more perfect for each other but wouldn't have put together without getting to know them on a deeper level.

What starts out as a fake date to appease Dexter's nosy family quickly transforms into a real relationship with a little help from Dexter's meddling twin sisters. Although Daphne has to battle against Dexter's insecurities, their relationship quickly develops strong bonds between the couple and the type of passion people only dream of.

Things Liars Fake brings all of the characters in this mini series to a fantastic conclusion - true love really does exist, you'll find it when you least expect it and in the most unlikely of places ♥

Another adorable and sweet story. I loved both geeky Dexter and Daphne... oh and most importantly I loved Dexter's cunning and hilarious 15 years old twin sisters! Twin speaks, little godfathers - it had me had me dying!
I wished this story was longer than a novella though.

This is third in a series where each builds on the previous. You almost certainly want to read these in order.

This is still short, but unlike the others, it felt shorter than the story really deserved. The thing is that Dexter is a huge wimp and continually misreads Daphne. There isn't a single relationship progression that isn't initiated by her. Because he's a complete loser. Which bugged me more than a little. I can see that Ney was going for a nerd connection. And I really liked Daphne being such a nerd girl. But I can't help feeling that she can do better than this guy who can't get out of his own way to save his life.

So I felt like the story needed more time to show Dexter not being a complete loser. At least he straightens out once Daphne opens the door. So he doesn't regress stupidly. So there's that.

Daphne was lovely. And there are some side characters that were awesome and one or two relatively funny moments. So this is maybe 3½ stars. But Dexter keeps this from rounding up. Because seriously, that guy needs some life coaching or something.

A note about Steamy: There are two mid-length explicit sex scenes placing this at the middle of my steam tolerance. And at least Dexter wasn't a coward there. So there's that.

Of the 3 little novellas this was my favorite.

Dexter was super sweet and nerdy. Such a dork and I loved it.
Daphne was THE BEST! I LOVED how she went on a man-hunt to get his ass! Her attempts were hilarious, and I respect the hell out of how brave she was!

This book was light and sweet and unproblematic.

Just like book one in this series, book three has unlikely male lead. This one is a "dork or nerd". He finds it unbelievable that a beat woman would like him for him. As much as he messes things up, he is lucky he has twin meddling sister's that love him dearly. That is how he won the girl in the end!

While not the highest rating of 5/5, this book promises adorableness between two unlikely characters who find themselves drawn to each other. Our hero is a dork. He wears suspenders, plaid shirts, peacoats, glasses, and doesn't scream the fashion forward model but I can't help but imagine him being dorkishly cute despite what everyone says. Our heroine is gorgeous. She has amazing green eyes, nice body, and a sweet personality. And she's also a dork. For all things Sci-fi. I really enjoyed this book out of the rest of the series because it had fluff, nice sex scenes, and a feeling of longing. I wanted for both of them to admit their feelings for each other so badly at times. I suggest to skip both the first novels and read this one instead.

The only major problem I had with it? Sara Ney describes a vagina as "lady bits."

I have to admit I liked this particular one out of the whole series as though Cal and Colin were great, they were striking guys that people go for. In Things Liars Fake, we have our main guy Dexter Ryan who is geeky, awkward yet stunningly sexy for a geek. He is the type of guy who loves science fiction and wears bow ties and works in finance. Our main female, on the other hand, is one of those beauties who also has an inner geek to her and she doesn't realize how stunning she is. Daphne is the last of her females to find a guy and is sick of being the single one. When she heads to the movies one night by herself to see the latest science fiction movie, she doesn't expect to bump into Dexter. It turns out he is seeing the same movie and the pair end up sitting next to each other. One thing leads to another and Dexter thinking Daphne wouldn't like a guy like him asks her to be a fake date to his cousin's event and of course Daphne in the hope of getting closer to Dexter accepts. I have to admit I normally don't like game playing in novels but this one suited the characters as they were both insecure about themselves and you could see they both liked each but were trying to work up the guts to tell one another. I also have to admit I found myself laughing as they were getting turned on by spouting geeky facts to one another which I could so relate to - the geeky facts knowledge, not the being turned on by them in particular. Ok, this review just went right to showing my awkwardness haha :P. Anyway, back on track - if you love geeky characters, then Book #3 Things Liars Fake by Sara Ney is the read for you.

Things Liars Fake is my favorite out of the three #ThreeLittleLies novellas because Daphne and Dexter are both completely adorkable! Daphne - because she's an avid Sci-fi fan and definitely can get her geek on but she's also a beautiful, confident, and take charge girl who underestimates her appeal to the opposite sex. Dexter - because he is one sexy nerd whose intelligence is as appealing as the way he wears his bow ties and suspenders because he owns who he is. And even though he needs a bit of help to find his inner sex god and the cojones to act on his feelings for Daphne, one way or another, whether it's by faking a relationship or playing on their 'friendship,' Daphne and Dexter's twin sisters will do what needs to be done to get Daphne and Dexter's relationship a chance at what their friends already found with their own little lies.

Readers who love New Adult Romances should definitely check out Sara Ney's #ThreeLittleLies series; it's low angst with interesting characters and a great take on how a few white lies can actually be what allows true feelings to be exposed.

This is my favourite of these novellas I loved Daphne and Dexter together they say opposites attract and these two are opposites.
It was a change to read about an insecure guy. The way he was with Daphne was so endearing. I think I laughed the most reading this one.
Another fun read.

‘Good lord he smells freaking fantastic. Like a fresh shower and fresh air and wintergreen toothpaste. The truth blindsides me: I’m insanely attracted to this guy. He’s such a dork. But so, so cute.'

I have quickly fallen for this fun and flirty novella series by Sara Ney and Things Liars Fake is no different. Fast, fun and sexy this was a great way to spend and afternoon curled up on the couch. Daphne and Dexter are not your typical hero/heroine but I loved them all the same. Daphne is a pretty girl who is stuck being the single one in her group. When a bow tie and glasses wearing man catches her eye she is surprised but when they run into each other at a sci-fi movie it turns out they have more in common than either expected. But Dexter is convinced she is far out of his league but needs her as a friend to pretend to be his girlfriend for the sake of getting his family off his back. Can these two move out of the friend-zone and make their fake relationship real?

“Talk nerdy to me, Daphne.”

Daphne and Dexter’s story put a smile on my face from beginning to end. Full of hilarious moments and a ton of sexual tension this geeky romance is not one to miss. The story was cute and entertaining and I even loved the cheesy aspects of it personally. I mean come on he is a dorky guy named DEXTER who wears suspenders and bowties. Yet instead of my normal eye roll I would give something like that, it only seemed to add to the fun and quirky nature. If you are looking for a story to make you giggle and smile and maybe even make your cheeks redden with blush this one will hot the spot!

Overall, I loved all THREE of these novellas, not just this one. Although this one had me bursting out in laughter within the first chapter. I count that as a huge plus. It is also something that a Sara Ney book never fails to do to me. I'll have a full review up ASAP.

Tre piccole bugie,

tre coppie ben assortite

I believe this is the third book in #threelittlelies series. Again, this can be read as a stand alone as can all the books. I stand true though, the first book is still the best. This was ok, but I didn't love it I'm afraid.

I liked Dexter but didn't like Daphne from the get go. I just felt nothing for her which when you are reading a book about the main character and feel nothing, well it kind of makes it a little harder. In honesty, if Dexter had been anyone else I'd have not finished this #justsaying

I read it in 1 sitting, the story is fine I just felt a bit meh about it and it was just ok for me. I know others who's reviews I follow loved this so maybe I'm just having an off day. 3 stars.

One word – DEXTER <3

I can't even begin to explain how much I loved him; smart, funny, good-looking nerd (*sighs*), a bit dense but i can look past that. My favorite character in the wholes series. Daphne is beautiful, sweet, smart, a (big) nerd herself. When she and Dexter get ambushed at the movies by his aunt, he asks her to be his pretend GF for his cousins engagement party.

With a little »push« from Dexter's family (in the form of younger sisters – the twins are hilarious!) they find that they belong together.

This book is my favorite in the series.

Such a cute little story ❤️. I loved Dexter coz he was unlike the usual heroes. He's nerdy, not so confident and a good person. Daphne was the perfect match for him with her sci-fi geekiness.
The twins were a nice touch and hilarious. In fact I loved Dexter's whole family.

Carino.
