So excited for Tate and Camille's story!
Camille is Link Duffy's older sister. She is a filming a documentary in Columbia when she and her assistant Janine are robbed of everything. Camille calls her brother and Tate for help.
Tate is Link's best friend. They just got done guarding an 18 year old pop star when Camille's call comes in. Link and Cami have an explosive past. Hot in and out of bed.
If you read the first Badass series, you know we're in for a fantastic ride. I recommend reading that series first. That way you have the complete back story.
There is a cliffhanger. I can't wait to see what happens next!

Great start to Camille and Tate's story....can't wait to read the next book sometime in Feb. This book features Link from the first the Badass books, but isn't necessary to read before picking this novella up. Camille and Tate have this amazing chemistry, but timing just isn't on their side.

Welcome to the jungle
The Badass Series continues with Jungle Fever. Tate, Link's best friend, is always on a mission to keep his sister Camille in line. Not understanding the risks she is taking she embarks on a photoshoot in a quite dangerous area. After being robbed and assaulted Link and Tate come to her rescue and assure her safety. Not listening to Tate's advice she once again puts herself in harms way and faces more danger than she bargained for.
This is a great read. The characters flow so well together after reading the first books about Link that once again I can't put a book down and want to must keep on reading. Leslie Johnson has quickly become one of my new favorite authors

If you are a fan of Leslie Johnson and Elle Dawson or you are new to them, you will not want to miss this first installment of the Badass-Jungle Fever series. If you have not read the first Badass series, you can still read this and thoroughly enjoy it, but you will know the characters better and understand their idiosyncrasies to a fuller extent if you read that first.
Camille Duffy is the heiress to her family fortune and despite that, she lives life to the fullest. She travels all over the world, doing what she enjoys most. Her work brings awareness of crisises occuring as well as depicts how things really are to the world. She takes precautions to ensure her safety, but often feels it is unwarranted.
Tate Rodgers is the owner of one of the top security firms in the world. As an ex-Green Beret, he is trained to be precise and hypervigelent in all his actions. He is honest to a fault and fiercely loyal.
When Tate finds his best friend's sister, Camille is in danger, he drops everything to come to her rescue. Camille and Tate resurrect their relationship. When duty calls and he has to leave will she follow his advice and leave with him?
This story is filled with compassion, humor and combustible chemistry. I am dying to know what will happen next in this incredible series!

Leslie Johnson and Ellie Dawson have outdone themselves with this one! Badass: Jungle Fever honestly was not only sinfully delicious it was a literary masterpiece.
Tate and Camille clearly are two people meant to be together. They are fighting each other and the connection they have at every turn. The chemistry and pull these two have is so magnetic and quite honestly electric I read this damn book three times. I couldn't get enough. There is so much drama, suspense, angst, and emotion in this book it's a non-stop thriller from beginning to end.
When these two characters get together things heat up and they heat up quick. If you thought Grace and Link were hot you haven't seen anything until you've read Tate and Camille. Holy Hell can they light up the sheets. I'm pretty sure my eye balls were steaming reading parts of this book...they needed a cold shower all on their own right along side my e-reader. The storyline is absolutely fantastic you have your love to hate characters right from the beginning. And as usual Leslie and Ellie throw us off the proverbial cliff and leave us waiting on bated breath for the next installment!
This is one hot and steamy series you don't want to miss!

Leslie Johnson and Elle Dawson, all I have to say it what a start to this series. Move over Link and make room for your sister Camille and Tate, this was one hot story.
Camille is traveling abroad doing what she does best, taking pictures around the world, she has it all. When she is lured with her assistant and they are robbed and all their equipment taken and they are beaten, she does what any sister would do and calls her brother for help, but when she cant reach him she calls the next best thing, Tate.
Tate and Camille have history together and when they meet, the sparks fly, the chemistry between them makes it clear they are meant to be together. Camille wants it all with Tate, but Tate is not the romance type of guy. Knowing that their time together is short, they make the most of it and be together every chance they can. Being there to protect her in every way he can Tate hates to leave her, but as always there time together is limited.

Tate and Camille have a crazy past. His best friend and her brother is Link Duffy, our hero from the original Badass series. Cam is bisexual but leans toward Tate any chance he's around. She's a photographer and travels the world documenting the stark differences between the poor and rich. Needing the support of Tate's security firm seems to add more challenges to their life. Tate is the obvious strong meathead with special abilities and a huge heart where Camille is concerned. Camille is a puzzle, seeming to be very smart she lets her heart take over instead of her brain. As a fair warning this one ends on a cliffhanger and it does seem slightly predictable. As part of their review team I was given an early copy for my honest review.

Now Camille Duffy needs help and he is more then willing to give her any help he can to keep her safe because of their past. But what starts out as simple gets more complicated when they try to keep Camille safe.
If you have read the Badass series with Link and Grace you know that this going to be good too.

I received Badass Jungle Fever (Book 1) from the author in exchange for an honest review. Tate Rodgers a retired Green Baret who started his own security company, refuses to settle down. Camille Duffy, heiress to the Duffy empire is a free spirited photojournalist who is working on a project in Columbia where trouble strikes. These two have a past. No relationship but the occasional hook up. Tate is also friends with Link, who is Camille's brother. I really enjoyed this part of the story and can't wait to see how Camille gets out of her troubled situation. It's not a must, but I do recommend reading the original Badass series before reading the Badass Jungle Fever Series.

I'm glad Camille and Tate got a book about them!! Tate is Link Duffy's best friend and Camille is Link's sister! This is a great beginning to their story!! I look forward to reading the next book!!
I know when I start a book by Leslie Johnson and Elle Dawson, it's going to be a wild ride and this book is no different than the rest of hers!! LOVED IT!! The chemistry is hot between Camille and Tate. Camille is in Medellin, Columbia to shoot an article on the revitalization efforts.
Badass was a thriller romance. This story will be too. Looking forward to further installations of the story.

Camille and Tate have history together. It's hot and it's sexy but it's fleeting. When Camille calls on her brother, Link Duffy, to help with a situation, Tate is with him and together they bring the issue under control. Unfortunately, being worth billions has its downside. Is Camille safe? Will Tate be able leave her in a foreign country safe and protected? Will Camille ever learn? Leslie Johnson's Badass Jungle Fever left me hanging with a cliffy but I promise, it's worth the read.

This is a spin off of the Badass series and it falls inline great with the way the series was laid out.
I loved Tate and Camille's relationship. They are opposites but yet so alike. Their sexual vibe is through the roof!
I can't wait to see what happens in book 2.

We loved Link Duffy, now it's time to get to know his sister Camille and best friend Tate. This story begins in South America and heats up from there. And I don't mean the air temperature! Camille and Tate keep the action going inside and out! Book 2 can't come out fast enough.

Great start to this story. Got my full attention from the moment I started reading and left me wanting to know what's next. Action packed and totally full of suspense. Would def recconend and can't wait for the next part of Camille and Tate's story!!!!!

Loved this book and as usual they capture your attention from the beginning with the unexpected! This series is starting out with kicking but and taking names can't wait to see where Camille and Tate will take us on their journey as the discover each other!

When I finished Link and Grace story, I thought that Tate's and Cami story would be good but it's amazing, can't wait to read how this story continues!
