After both of Rhiannen Fell's parents die (under suspicious circumstances), she learns that there is a lot that they kept from her. They never told her about the Faerynn people. They never told her that she was their Queen. They never told her about the unrest in the Kingdom that was threatening to tear everything apart. What Rhiannen learns as she adjusts to her new life changes what she knows about herself and shakes the Kingdom to its core.
Love, loyalty, tradition, and courage collide when Rhiannen and her allies uncover secrets that have been hidden for decades.
Heather graduated from West Chester University of PA with a degree in Communications Ed. She lives in rural Pennsylvania on her family's farm property, although it is currently only used to support her two big dogs and painted turtle. She and her husband have a son and too many hobbies.
In her spare time, Heather enjoys reading, exploring new music, watching her son learn about and attempt to throw/chew on/destroy the world around him, and drinking just about all the hot beverages.
Admittedly this book did rally towards the end, but I cannot rate it higher because of how much I struggled with the majority of the book. For the most part it was too predictable, even if I am grateful that the love triangle resolved so quickly.
