I have been reading Prabirendra's blog ever since he created it. I, like many others, am always very fond of his writing. So when I heard his blog is going to be a book I was overjoyed because now I could give it to my parents or any elderly person to read it who are not comfortable with internet. This book is just a fraction of the vast knowledge he has in different topics. The main ingredient or magic of his writing is his wit, which makes any boring topic as the most interesting topic on this earth. This book is full with information, trivia, nostalgia, stories, history which leaves the reader astonished or amazed. His expertise in language made me feel like as if I was traveling to the places right that moment and made me crave for the foods he described. My personal favorites are his experiences in Turkey and the mouth watering foods but there are much more in this book to explore. And now, every time I see a baby I can't stop myself remembering the word "Bebek". Let me tell you one secret, the accompanying doodles are all drawn by none other than Prabirendra.
