My opinion on this would be highly controversial as the book itself is considered to deal with few such issues itself. Despite that, I will still state my honest feelings in regards to this book.

Personally for me this is one of the best written books of JittiRain. Although I read a translated version, the feelings this book evoked were much stronger. There were many arcs that gave a very Slap-Kiss-Lakorn style vibes but at the same time it read out as a normal story too. The story is also considered the shortest book of JittiRain’s and unfortunately have been taken out of print. The author herself has spoken out that she doesn’t want the story to stay around. Despite all of that, I did find this story quite ok. There were times my heart broke and times I thought the story was stupid due to the actions of the characters, but considering other BLs I’ve read, I found this good enough. I truly have read some atrocious BLs that should be burnt and the author given therapy for what they send the character through but those said authors are still writing in large and people are eating them up. So it is kind of sad that such books as this, that are well written get taken out. But as it is the author’s decision, we have to comply with it.

Now for the plot itself. As I mentioned above, the story is one of heartbreak from the beginning till the end. There’s no point of happiness until the last end and that also leaves a sadness within you. Don’t fret, it is not a bittersweet ending. It is a perfectly happy ending and yet after all they’ve gone through, the sadness remains. I would highly recommend one to take time and read this novel and not in one go. It will kill you to read it in one go.
Meung Nan as all of us have seen is a boy hiding sadness in his heart. Although from the outside he seems to have everything, in reality he is someone alone and hiding a big secret. A secret that could break him. The story is one where we see his journey in 5 years. We see North Nakarin, his life a complete sad one with heartache and selfishness too. But you can hate either one of them for it. In the end, aren’t we all for ourselves? They share a love that could break everyone around them. Or that is what they think. Love, desperation, betrayal, secrets….they are all part of this story. All of it slowly unravels through the book and in the end everything ends for the best. We get cameos from our happy duo Mork and Pi too.
The story isn’t for the faint hearted or the judgemental. I would say, to go into this with an open mind. If one can read Lolita and say it’s a masterpiece(another controversial topic though), I don’t think anyone can judge this one too hard. For me, it was a well written book and I have to say I’ve been listening to Collide and Lost Stars on loop the past three days since I started the book. I am glad this was not made into a series though. I couldn’t have handled such one on the screen. Especially with Mix acting the character. It would have broken me to see him go through such pain.

With that I say adieu to this novel, read it, only if you’re ok with the trigger warnings this novel carries. Yet it’s a heartbreakingly beautiful story.

First of all, this story is NOT for everyone, initially it touches a pretty strong theme, but if you decide to read it, you will be calm when you get to the final chapters
When I started reading this book I said that everything could end very well or very badly, I am glad that it didn't end very badly; sure, it was a plus that I read it knowing the plot, but even without knowing it, I think you can enjoy
I liked it tbh, it's narrated in such a beautiful way that there came a point where I just wanted Nan and Nuerth to be happy no matter what
JittiRain gave me, once again, an incredible story and characters

If I have the opportunity and I have enough courage, I might say I love you.

I couldn't stop loving him. I can not walk away from him as well, not really.

Full of angst, but wasn’t as good as I expected. I was hoping for something deeper between the MC. The story was quite short and I didn’t feel satisfied with what I read.
