Not great, but not awful either. Kindle Unlimited. Basically very basic in terms of writing and dialogue. The premise is interesting, a woman who runs a dog grooming and boarding business, starts being able to hear her animal friends. It's a blessing and a curse.
It's kinda whacky and fun, I did keep reading - that is definitely the main premise... There is a lesbian love story but it was very much secondary to the puppy plots. Plus I found the relationship pretty instantaneous.

A very shy woman suddenly becomes very interesting with four legged creatures.
Mindy was determined to open her dream store for pets, unfortunately she is shy around two legged people. Taking care of one her boarders Mindy falls and hits her head. Waking up she learns she can now communicate with animals. Not wanting to have anyone think she is nuts or something Mindy keeps the secret and needing gas for her truck she encountered Sam at a local gas station. The two ladies are quick to realize that have found their true love! The author has a unique way of writing this story. Not sure if this is her first book or not due to some of the writing of the descriptions. Enjoy!

an unusual romance for sure
I really enjoyed this story from start to finish.
Loved the fact that Mindy could hear what animals were saying to her.
If you like unusual, this is a definite to read.
