Jason Luke enjoyed several years involved in the BDSM lifestyle - but he is quick to point out that his experiences don't qualify him as an expert, any more than knowing how to drive a car makes him a qualified mechanic. 'Interview with a Master' is a novel about how one man became a Master. The book is a work of fiction, but Jason has drawn heavily on encounters from his own real life. He won't say which parts of the book are fictionalised, and which parts are auto-biographical.

The author, with his unique writing, prompts us, women, to be honest with ourselves, to bare our soul with him in a way that we don’t with anyone else. It’s completely private, and completely vulnerable. And, where does BDSM comes into all of this? The author talks about submission and why it’s so tantalizing in erotica, and helps us explore our desires and fantasies. He guides us to share our deepest feelings with him, to allow ourselves to be vulnerable in order to build emotional intimacy with and feel closer to him.

The author turns to face the camera, speaks directly to the reader and engages her in ways that are personally revealing. I absolutely loved the fact that I felt part of his writing; it was so vivid and … intimate!

Message to the author: Your narrative was sensual and seductive. Your writing had emotion and force. It definitely touched my soul! Your words reached deep down within my soul and touched a part of my heart that was hidden from even me.

Intimate read like a one on one conversation with the author. It was set at the reader’s home – a safe place from them to let loose all inhibition. It thrust readers right in the middle of the action, forcing us to experience it firsthand.

This isn’t some kind of theatre performance that relies on stage effects or lighting. This is raw and it’s real. And it’s intimate. Just you. And me.

The author conversed with the reader, urging her to explore her sensuality. It really felt intimate and made me want to do the things he ask me to do like taking off my panties and touching myself (I’m not going into details whether I actually did it or not hahaha!)



The readers were also regaled with the author’s most memorable past sexual encounters. There were five different women that burnt into his mind and each one due to specific reasons. And oh, my favorite scene was hands down the cuckquean scene :p And from these stories, he urged the readers to open up to possibilities and taking the helm of their own pleasure.

You know you are alive when you’re taken just a little ways outside of your comfort zone. It is a good thing. So go with it…

What I like the most about this book is how it was written in first person POV but it felt like a second person POV. At times, I felt like I was in an erotic therapy session. It was as fascinating as it was unnerving.

Intimate is definitely something different than the typical erotica. It might throw you off a little due to the novelty, but in the end, you might learn a thing or two. It is raw and sensual, perfect to spend your time alone with.

Intimate is about achieving intimacy. As the book opens, the author talks directly to the reader. He is enticing you by talking from the shadows of your favorite reading place. As he is easing you into a sense of familiarity, he also tells of his experiences about discovering how to please women and how those experiences have taught him that every woman is obviously different but we all have fantasies. It’s just at what point do you free yourself from everyday demands or pressures to just surrender to your desires, whether it is reading erotica, submitting to your desires with a partner or just self-pleasure.

“I don’t want to see the woman you show the rest of the world. I want to see the real you – that private erotic piece of your soul that you keep secret. Show me that real woman tonight – the real you. Let your hair down and be yourself.”

Intimate is an interesting enterprise undertaken by Jason Luke with his first person/second person point of view approach in this book and it definitely worked for me. I enjoyed the feel of the intimacy of a private dialogue between the author (or whomever you want to imagine as the voice in the shadows) and me. It did feel intimate and I liked how he was briefly in my head.

“Touch yourself. Do it – not because I’m commanding you, but because I’m releasing you – giving you permission to free yourself from inhibitions…allowing you to be yourself with me watching you. Touch yourself because you want to, and because I want to watch you.”

This book is about getting in touch with your desires – whatever they may be – and to be comfortable with what you want in a safe environment. You don’t have to be in the bdsm lifestyle to appreciate this book, it’s just about what pleases you and how you choose to fulfill your fantasies.

So, when “Your mouth is open, your skin alive and tingling with …the feel of his stubbled jaw, the musky man-smell of him, the soft growling sound he makes in the back of this throat…” what will you choose?

If I could use only one word to describe this book, it wouldn't actually be a word. It would be a sound. That sound you make when you taste something amazing, or the little noise that escapes just before you cum. Between a moan and a sigh. That's what sums this up.

When I first started reading this book, I had no idea what to expect. As I read the first few pages, I was stunned! I felt that I had tumbled into this alternate reality where Jason Luke was actually in my bedroom, talking just to ME! Speaking to me alone, in a manner that was so personal, so sensual, so INTIMATE, I was literally catapulted into another world where I was the sole focus of THE Master's attention! Me and only ME! Everything else just faded away, everything but me, Jason, and his soft, sexy, sensually seductive voice, tantalizing me, seducing me. Because this story? It's a full on seduction of the reader by Jason Luke. And let me tell you, he IS THE Master of Seduction. By the end of this book, I was literally a HOT mess! I was so wrapped up in him, his words, his soft tone, I was melting. He has changed the erotica genre forever with this book and I will never be the same after reading it. If you love erotica, this book is a MUST read. I have been a huge fan of Jason Luke since he released Interview with a Master and Intimate is his sexiest, most erotic book yet!

What a fitting title!

Intimate is like no other book I've ever read. And certainly not like any of Jason Luke's prior work. The 'Master' himself has written a very unusual book that is more like a conversation. We get to virtually sit down with the author and he proceeds to find out how we tick. An interview of sorts, getting us to feel comfortable as if her were right there with us, revealing very intimate thoughts of his life as a Master and how that might help us be more in tune with our bodies.

I've closed my Kindle feeling very "warm", if you will. Wanting nothing more than to put to use all the suggestions Jason has given me in order to find out more about myself and how reading about BDSM has changed my way of thinking. You can almost hear his calming words as he relays his past and how the lifestyle worked for some women in his life.

Right from the start I was completely relaxed, the soothing suggestions along with honest confessions intriguing me to find out more. Jason Luke has certainly upped his game in this one, providing the platform to be our very own guide into a world most know nothing about. Prodding us with questions that only we can answer and never making us feel embarrassed at our curious thoughts.

I've enjoyed this author's words immensely in the past and Intimate is the start of what I hope is a start in a new direction for him. I'm left with wanting more and hopeful these sessions can continue.

Highly unusual yet very addicting. Well worth a look.

DNF....I am a big fan of Jason Luke's books but for some reason I could not get into this book. It by no means reflects on the author...I just couldn't get into this book.

This really was incredibly fascinating. But it also made me realise and confirm a lot of things about myself;
1. I wouldn't be a very good submissive.
2. I'm not one of those people who enjoys the idea of sharing my man with others. Watching him with someone else is like so over the mountain of what is okay,,,,I can't even handle it.
3. I enjoyed all stories a lot but as the stories progressed, my interest seemed to wane. Reading about exploits with someone else is a turn off for me, I guess. I'm not sure how to explain it but I'm pretty sure this logic is the reason I stop liking someone (involuntarily, most of the time) as soon as I know they're in a committed relationship with someone. It's like a switch goes off in my head.

I loved the first-person view, though. I loved how it felt like he was having a conversation with me, and I did leave the book feeling a little, well, warm. I was intrigued by how comfortable he made me feel while listening to his stories and how it did feel like it was just the two of us sitting in a dark corner while he recounted details of sex and women.

I love Jason Luke, I love the way he writes so sensually about the art of sex, BDSM, how woman feel and what they experience. For me he just has a way with words that can turn you on in an instant without even trying to. This is the Master at work doing what he does best in my opinion and that is erotica.
Brilliantly written as usual, when he narrates he feels like he is addressing you personally, he feels like he is in your bedroom, in that chair sitting across from you.
Another hit for Mr Luke but the only thing I actually missed was the woman herself joining in the conversation. The feedback and the experience you gain from a woman's point of view obviously wasn't in this book, it was all Jason. I have no idea why I missed that connection but I did. Apart from that, for me was perfection as usual. I look forward to more from Jason in the future.

I have just had an Intimate conversation with Jason Luke! We talked; he and I; we talked about sex, about how I was feeling while he told me some of his personal experiences and I thoroughly enjoyed myself – I hope he did too!

This is a short read from Jason Luke, something unique from this very clever author. I enjoyed it, from beginning to end. I enjoyed the intimacy and the way it made me feel while reading it. I listened to him reading the first chapter on line and I found I could hear his voice while I continued to read. It is definitely worth doing that before you start reading! Read this book by yourself, in a quiet place, when you will not be interrupted – you will not want to be interrupted, believe me! But do read it!!! I do hope that there will be more as he implies, because I will definitely be ready to read more.

It is hard to even put into words what this book is. The title says it all. Jason Luke gives you a one-on-one, intimate experience where he makes you question yourself and helps you connect with your needs and desires. He speaks directly to you and you can't help but let the soothing seduction take over. It takes fantasy to a whole other level. You will walk away from this story feeling like you just had the most intense, erotic encounter of your life. But now, thank me later.

This book is not like any other i have read before, Intimate is the perfect title for this book.
Jason Luke is back to writing what he does best, in my opinion, writing erotica (bdsm).
But this book is completley different from all his other books, it really is so much more.
Jason speaks to you on a personal level, you can hear the words being spoken to you, it felt like he really was in the room with me.
Loved this book, it really needs more than 5*

If you think you know the author, you will be mistaken by this story, but in a very good way! it is a very different read than his other books that I've read but pleasantly surprised by it. I actually felt weird reading the first pages but because of the way its written and the feel you get from it, you cannot help but get into the story ;-) you learn a very different side of Jason Luke and experience something you have never read before. if you've loved his other books, you will definitely love this one. well worth the wait and read! and yes, he is the Master!

I will not tell anything about the story line you need to experience for yourself to give the plot away will cheat you of your enjoyment.. So give this new this a try but you need an open mind .
