Impressive drama depicting how the education framework has been eroded by people wanting to treat it like a dirty business. Drama deals with an idealist teacher who is framed for fraud by his adversaries and how he returns back to society. Very sharp writing by Vasant Kanetkar. I think this play is as current as it was in 1966. Must read

आजच्या समाजव्यवस्थेत वाममार्गाने अफाट द्रवप्राप्ती करणारा वर्ग, या द्रव्यप्राप्तीच्या अनुषंगाने येणारी धुंदी आणि सामर्थ्य व त्यामुळे होणारा मानवी मूल्यांचा चुराडा आणि या भ्रष्टाचारात सामील न होणाऱ्या विद्यानंदसारख्या प्राध्यापकाची मुळे जमिनीतून उखडून टाकण्याच्या प्रयत्नात ही माणसे गुंतली. हा सर्वच संघर्ष मांडताना वसंत कानेटकर एक सत्य सूचित करून जातात.
