It is a sweet story, and I liked the characters. It suffers from some problems, though. First, most of the actual relationship building occurs off-scene, when it could have been worked in easily. Second, the characters actions/decisions don't always flow or make sense. Margot doesn't want to have an affair with her best friend's boyfriend, but with little explanation, she changes her mind. Flip decisions happen a few times that felt awkward and unexplained. Lastly, the dialogue between Margot and Antonio, only during their more intimate scenes, is florid and unrealistic. All of these complaints aside, it was an enjoyable read.
