First, we meet Rose. She’s raising her murdered sister’s son Charlie. She’s protecting him from his mother’s murder his father. He’s a biker Diablo from the Chaos MC and he wants his son back. He will do anything to make it happen including hurting Rose.
“I don't even know his name. He could be a murderer. But my heart says no. Enter Noose he’s never wanted an old lady. He was content with the sweet butts. That was until he tasted Rose.
“How you feeling?”

This was a decent read but such a disappointment that the author chose to attempt the follow the popular path of serial publishing, taking a full book and breaking it down, publishing only a few chapters. I’ll never understand why authors opts for this option as it doesn’t allow the reader to get an accurate feel for the book. However, Eros did a good job showing the jerk side of a bad boy falling in insta love.
Among some of my favorites. Outstanding literary work. The characters are well developed, interesting. The liked characters are likable and the hated are unlikable. The writing is captivating enough to keep you interested until the end and leave you wanting more. It has a fairly original or uniquely well-developed plot. The pretense and romance were well balanced and done with properly distributed amounts of hints, behaviors, and chemistry. Not so much predictable if at all. Overall, loved it, I recommend reading!!

This author is not safe in regard to STI talk. Also, every book read so far she has the MMC do something sexually with OW after meeting MFC and there being feelings involved. So two big dislikes they use OW to get off being sexually frustrated by MFC or to try to forget her. Either way they use the OW regardless if that OW is a club bunny or not. Also, condoms are not full proof and they never talk about STI testing. You can get an STI from oral and in this story MMC gets the MFC off after rescuing her from rape. He does not fuck her and she kinda of freaks tells him she needs time he promptly goes to club girl Crystal and gets a BJ which the MFC sees after she goes looking for him. It was such a disgusting scene and how he treated Crystal was just gross. I get she is a club girl but she is still a person.
So MFC Rose leaves MMC Noose goes after her tells her he only wants her. She tells him she saw him with Crystal he says she was nothing he only wanted her he had blue balls from wanting her and she could have been anyone. Does not Instil that he will keep it in his pants if there are times she can’t have sex does it? She tells him no he leaves. He later comes back finds her tied naked to the bed with mine written in lipstick by the bad guy. They fuck and Crystal is now a non issue like really! They get HEA.
EVERY BOOK I have read so far we have a fucked up MMC for some reason who fucks women a lot of them. We have a MFC who has been raped or almost raped and who are attacked or kidnapped for the MMC to rescue them. There is no talk of STI testing and their lifestyle is dangerous sexually. Condoms are not always used. It’s a recycling issue with each book with just certain details changed. In all of them so far the MMC as mentioned above sexually gets with one or many after meeting MFC and having feelings. The writing itself is good but not sure with continuing reading her books.

2.5 Knotted Stars
This book was quite ok BUT it's a very short story to be split in 3 books! It barely took me 30 minutes to actually finish reading the first installment. I can't say that I'm excited to read the second book in the series... Also, the model in the photo doesn't match the main character...who has blondish/brown hair and a beard with red strikes...

So far I liked what I read, I like it a lot.And yes, a "but" is just around the corner.
What I don't like and I don't understand is why the author decided to split a book into fragments. So 85 pages...you can't really read too far into the story. I don't have much to write about. All I know is that Rose tries hard to protect her nephew from his father, a dangerous bike who , she strongly believes, killed Rose's sister, the mother of his child. She stumbles over Noose, a biker from a rival club , he just can't walk away and not help Rose.
The book ends with a cliffhanger...not so much of a cliffhanger. Not a strong enough cliffhanger to make me want to continue the story, sadly. So far this part of the story receives 3 stars.

One star off for this being a cliff hanger series. I'll explain....I read a book or two a day. By the time book 2 comes out I don't have same feeling or vibe for characters as I forgot what made them or the story special. So blow me. That being said, I really liked these characters. It wasn't much of a book page # wise but it was a pretty developed one for how short it was. That's what I mean as I'm not invested. Geez. I cry. I want me some more Noose! and now!!!!

I think this book was a freebie at some point and that's when I got it. It does have a cliffhanger ending. Noose is part of the Road KIll MC (what a club name, huh?). He's hit with the insta-lust bug when he sees bank teller Rose. Rose's sister was murdered by a member of a rival club and is raising her nephew, Charlie. She doesn't want anything to do with bikers. However, the insta-lust bug has bitten her too. Unfortunately Charlie's psycho sadistic father wants him back and he's willing to abuse Rose to get what he wants. There are probably triggers galore as the story continues. I haven't decided if I'll continue or not.

Don't bother with this book or any of the series... when you look at it on Amazon it says 367 pages. What it is is a short novella. Everything that happened was a joke because I doubt even a really bad MC would do some of this stuff and not someone who is like Rose is going to act like that after being sexually assaulted.
I have a bunch of books by this author but she is now on my do not read author list now.... excuse me while I go delete all her books.

This is a new author for me and I LOVE HER! What a great start to an MC series. The cliffy .. holy wow. What?!?!? Yes! Its brutal.
I always enjoy a new MC read and this is another one to add to the cant wait for the next one. You all know I love me some bad boy MC dudes along with some intense suspense throughout the pages. You add in to our main character Noose that he was always a solider ... heck yes.
There are some exceptional secondary characters that I need to hear more about as well. Snare seems like he has a major story to tell and is waiting for his time. That's the deal with me and series .. I want all of the characters to have their day in the sun ... and I will be there waiting!
I love our female lead Rose and her boy Charlie. There is something about a character who steps in and who loves the "lost souls" putting all judgement aside. I felt for Rose as her situation is directly caused by her sisters lack of give a crud. However Rose finds the silver lining in Charlie. Rose's gut feeling about Noose and throwing her caution to the side sets us up for one heck of a story. I cant go into much detail but thank goodness she has Noose because Drake is one mean mother-junker. I have a bad feeling .. a bad bad feeling that the roof is about to fall.
Noose is a surprise as his character is holding something more hidden inside. The glimpse into his past as a solider is short but very pointed. I hope to hear more about his time before the MC. The man has hidden secrets for sure. Noose was like a sonic boom ... he vows to protect Rose and that he does ... very well and very much in the hands on way ... WHOOP WHOOP!
I loved the writing, I loved the characters and I hated but loved the cliff hanger of course! HA! This one is a keeper for me! If you are bothered by abusive situations then I don't know about this one. Its not hardcore but it might be an issue. I didn't find it off the charts nor hard to read in the least.

Noose is a hard man, he likes his women, never the same one twice, his club, and his solitude. No ties, except to his club and life is good. When he is sent on an errand, everything changes. Rose Christo is everything he has stayed away from but his gut is saying she is something more.
Rose has one focus in life, raise her sisters son. Her sister was murdered and the man guilty of that belongs to a biker gang and he wants his son back. Rose is fighting him tooth and nail, but his threats are amping up. When Noose makes a move for Rose, she is uncertain if she will be safe but as life begins to spin out of control, Noose seems intent on being by her side.
Exciting quickly paced read. Cliffhanger ending. Anxious to read the next book. I liked that Rose and Noose were polar opposites. Had a twist that I thought was intriguing and different for a heroine. Great biker read.

OH MYYYYYYYY GOOODDDDDDNESSSSSSS!!!!
When I read that Marata Eros was writing a MC story I just about FLATLINED caz I knew with every fibre it was going to be SEXY as hell and amazing to boot.
So having such high expectations I was NOT AT ALL disappointed, in fact I was even more rewarded with a story I could not put down or even fault.
I love how Marata Eros grows with each story she writes. No two characters are ever the same and no storyline ever is the same. I LOVE THIS!!! I know I am always going to get an amazing story with all the extra trimmings.
Noose is Hard and freaking HOT as hell and boy do I want a piece.
Rose is sweet and sexy and amazingly real. I loved her strength and sacrifices.
The chemistry between the two is severely dynamic and extremely freaking HOTT!!!!
The story is action packed edge of your freaking seat white knuckled OH MY GOD!!!!
All up I NEED more and I WANT IT!!!! As soon as I can!!!.

It was free and now I know why. Incomplete short story with a naughty typical start that was like many raunchy biker books but then took a turn to a semi-sweet/semi-sour drama of a woman who is in way over her head between the bad guy who murdered her sister and the "other" bad guy who wants to help her.
Would have been better if the characters had been more fleshed out and it didn't end abruptly like it did...just a teaser basically.

What would it be like to be with someone who could consume me? 5 GOLD KNOTS
It's the road. The bike. And the women. Not always in that order. Then I see her, and time slows to a crawl. WHOA!! Talk about being tied up in KNOTS! Even though this is not the usual book I would read - I mean come on! There is not a vampire or shifter to be had!! - I did read it and I LOVED IT!! I first read the sample of the story that is available through the "look inside" feature and was caught in its NOOSE immediately!! It is a gritty story complete with bikers, one percenters & everything that goes with them. Then there is Rose. Ah, Rose. Whether she realizes it or KNOT, whether HE realizes or KNOT, Noose definitely has a thorn in his cut for (& from) Rose! I was so enthralled with this story, eagerly & impatiently wanting to keep reading, to find out what happens after that "sample" left me hanging! I felt consumed, not knowing where I ended or the book started! Completely hypnotised by the Bad Boy Biker and the - his - delicate flower... With it being told in first person, it not only enriches the stories, but it gives the story this depth too, ensuring that I am roped in & and held in its noose way past the end of the series! To be honest, I haven’t read too many biker books, so I am not very familiar with the lifestyle and everything else that goes with them, so this was definitely a book out of my “paranormal comfort zone”! However, I found that I LOVED being outside of said comfort zone! But that can all be attributed to Marata! I love Marata/Tamara's writing style, with the darker tones, they are most often raw, edgy, gritty and naughty in all the right ways, so much so that I am instantly held rapt in her spell. However it is not all tough biker stuff, there is humor, hot & naughty moments, cheerful & heartwarming moments, and so much more. My two favorite lines, or at least the 2 I can share! “He's such a large guy, so strong that everything else is just icing on top of the man cake.” “I bite his neck like a vampire on crack.” HA! Love it! Marata/Tamara has this phenomenal talent, but when you add in her genuine gift & magical way of crafting stories that I KNOT only WANT to read, but ones that I HAVE to read, no, that I NEED to read, well, let's just say I am wholly & completely consumed mind, body, spirit & soul every. single. time! All in all - if you are looking to be ensnared, or want a story that you can become one with instantly both in & by your next read, then NOOSE, is THE One for you! Whether she realizes it or KNOT, whether HE realizes or KNOT, Noose definitely has a thorn in his cut for (& from) Rose! I was so enthralled with this story, eagerly & impatiently wanting to keep reading, to find out what happens after that "sample" left me hanging! I felt consumed, not knowing where I ended or the book started! Completely hypnotised by the Bad Boy Biker and the - his - delicate flower... With it being told in first person, it not only enriches the stories, but it gives the story this depth too, ensuring that I am roped in & and held in its noose way past the end of the series! To be honest, I haven’t read too many biker books, so I am not very familiar with the lifestyle and everything else that goes with them, so this was definitely a book out of my “paranormal comfort zone”! However, I found that I LOVED being outside of said comfort zone! But that can all be attributed to Marata! I love Marata/Tamara's writing style, with the darker tones, they are most often raw, edgy, gritty and naughty in all the right ways, so much so that I am instantly held rapt in her spell. However it is not all tough biker stuff, there is humor, hot & naughty moments, cheerful & heartwarming moments, and so much more. My two favorite lines, or at least the 2 I can share! “He's such a large guy, so strong that everything else is just icing on top of the man cake.” “I bite his neck like a vampire on crack.” HA! Love it! Marata/Tamara has this phenomenal talent, but when you add in her genuine gift & magical way of crafting stories that I KNOT only WANT to read, but ones that I HAVE to read, no, that I NEED to read, well, let's just say I am wholly & completely consumed mind, body, spirit & soul every. single. time! All in all - if you are looking to be ensnared, or want a story that you can become one with instantly both in & by your next read, then NOOSE, is THE One for you! I didn't hate this book, but I had no idea it was a short story at the beginning of a series. A series that doesn't have multiple couples, one per book, but it's one couples story over many books.
I honestly don't like that sort of storytelling when it comes to romance/erotica. Especially with it being a short story and there's not much chance to get to really know the characters or the world they live in or anything else really.
There's some sexual tension build up, but what can you do in such a short book?
If this series ever becomes one volume, I will definitely give it a chance again though.

Holy hell I freaking loved this short novella!!! I need more Noose and Rose. That ending gah...what's going to happen? what comes next?
the attraction between Noose & Rose is undeniable from the first time they set eyes on one another. Noose is ex military and part of the Road Kill MC. Rose is a bank teller who hates & is scared of bikers bc of what happened to her sister. But there is something about Noose that she cannot fight.
I NEED MORE!!!!! can't wait to get the rest of Rose and Noose story.

Awesome biker read! Fast paced and very intriguing. Love the characters Noose with a military background and he is involved with the Road kill MC biker gang. They have a mission to help those that get abused. Noose meets Rose and feels a sudden attachment. He wants to protect her. Drake is in a rival biker gang whom wants his son back and will do anything to get him back. Rose will do everything in her power not to let that happen. Awesome cliffhanger. I can't wait to read the next book.

What the hell happened to this book. I'm reading a REALLY good story then all of a sudden it just ends and a totally different book begins and it's not even a sequel. WTF? I was just really getting into loving the story then BAM! I can't recommend this book without knowing what the hell happened and when and where will this book continue?

Noose is a novella that is a whole lotta bang for your buck, balls out, sexy as hell, fast paced start to what I know will be another fabulous series from Marata. The webs Marata weaves with words just pull you in a leave you wanting more.

Arc received for an honest review.
This was a quick read. I didn't really connect with the characters and their relationship was quite fast. Lots of unanswered questions. But an author I'll keep up with because I have faith the author will get better.

Great start to this series. Noose is this hot biker with a very dirty mouth. Rose is this innocent young women who is trying to take care of her nephew after her sister is murdered. It has everything I need in a motorcycle gang book.....steamy sex scene, interesting characters and good storyline.
