In the not too distant future, Charles Dalton achieves his life's ambition and establishes a nirvana called Paragon in the heart of Africa. By his side is his son Abe who is a career military pilot and a leader in his own right.
Paragon owns and has the only access to a new miracle element - A28 - which has the ability to provide carbonless fuel and as some say, longer life. Paragon is seeking to establish world recognition as a nation despite its relatively small size. And with A28 and its elite military force, it may well have that capability.
However, all countries covet the mysterious and elusive A28 and envy Charles because of his power and wealth. Soon he is beset with powerful enemies, determined to bring him and his country down while making off with the A28. Should that happen, the world would be changed irrevocably and be dominated by a tyrannical force determined to have control of all countries - which could conceivably be done with A28.

As Charles watches his beloved country fall under unprovoked attack, he must count on the power of true allegiances and the strength of his people to overcome diversity. Will Charles lose all that he has built? More importantly, will A28 fall into enemy hands?
