I should probably be more generous, but I didn’t care for the art at all, and this one is not nearly as good as the others in the series.

I'd read the regular Everything I Need to Know Golden Book and wasn't especially impressed, so I didn't have high expectations for the Star Wars version. But I was surprised how much great artwork has been created for the Star Wars Little Golden books! Every page of this "greatest hits" is a lot of fun to look at. And because the text can riff on Star Wars quotes, it's much more enjoyable to read than the regular book was.

I checked this out from the library, but the feeling it left me with was not that I need to have this book on my shelf, but that I want to get all the individual Star Wars Little Golden Books. (Also that I can't wait to see the Little Golden Book version of Rogue One.)

Still, this will probably do fine for the "I don't really know you but I've seen you wearing a Star Wars t-shirt" gift for this year's graduates. :)

An inspirational little book using scenes and characters from Star Wars movies to illustrate that hope and a support system are important, and can help you achieve much.

The illustrations are good.

This wasn't on my TBR at all, but I saw it in the store and couldn't resist reading it! It was so cute and so inspirational - it got a little dark for a Little Golden Book, but then again, I'd say that most of the content of Star Wars movies is a little dark for a Little Golden Book. Anyway, I really enjoyed it, and it made me really excited to read the other Star Wars Little Golden Books on my TBR!

White Elephant parties can land you with tasteless trash or hidden gems. I opened my bag to find this hidden gem within. Granted, I'm not exactly the target audience, but the sayings were nicely inspirational for their audience and the artwork was simply adorable. The drawings were so well done that I wanted to and did read the whole thing, and for a Golden Book it was substantially longer than their norm. This is a perfect gift for the right audience - youngsters who love Star Wars. And so I gifted it forward to that audience, a friend's young son who's already a huge Star Wars fan. If only all major franchise marketing ploys were so classily and tastefully done as this book.

If you enjoy Star Wars you may enjoy this book. I love the illustrations. I loved seeing familiar scenes from the movie. There are a lot of illustrations that portray strong female characters saving the day, which is nice. The Yoda "size matters not" illustration is adorable! Seriously, I think this may make a great gift for any Star Wars fan. The pages with the illustration for fear and anger are cool..."because fear and anger can lead to the dark side." And I have to say, the fancy end paper is perfect!

This is one of those, 'everyone should own this book' type of books. I know it's aimed for children but if you're a Star Wars fan, at any age, you'll really enjoy this book. I stumbled onto this one at Amoeba Music one day and have kept it on my book shelf among my favorites since. It's the perfect quick read if you're feeling a little down about anything going on in your life.

I'd say even if you're not a fan of Star Wars, you might really like this.
On top of that, the illustrations are adorable. =)

The taking of some of the most well-known scenes from the Star Wars movies and creating a book of advice snippets for children is a work of genius. Each page has an image derived from one of the movies with a brief caption of text. There is also a footnote referencing the source of the image.
The only possible downside is that for the reader to truly appreciate the advice they will have to be very familiar with all Star Wars productions. While not a major weakness, it is significant for a book aimed at very young children.

Perfect book to read to my son when he was feeling crabby on Star Wars Day. It's your typical inspiration book adapted for Star Wars lovers, and accompanied by the very adorable illustrations found in the Star Wars Little Golden Books. Loved it!

We have most of the LG Books in the Star Wars series. This was a great compilation of art from the other books and woven together with a positive message to kids. Very glad we checked this one out of the library

This is fantastic! In my opinion; great for the kiddos and great for any Star Wars nut! I picked this up as a nerd-collector piece. And I totally dig it. Great artwork. Good lessons. And it's Star Wars!!!

Life lessons young and old

Better than expected. My 3 year old who loves Star Wars loved it even if he doesn’t understand all of it- he got most of it. And happy to revisit this one over... and over... and over again.

Lovely little book, but the long credits on nearly every illustration are distracting. They could’ve been collected all on a page or two on the back of the book for a more enjoyable reading experience.

I initially got this for my grandsons (huge Star Wars fans like their dad, my son), but I loved the bits of advice in it so much, I bought one for myself. Fun little book and fun way to teach through character kids love.

This was gifted to me by a dear friend when I was having a particularly hard time.

It came at the right moment and made me smile. And in the end, that's all that matters.

Such a cute book that's fun to read alone or with your kiddos to drive home some important life lessons and make them easy to remember. The art is lovely.
