Zeus, Ares and Hades OH MY! 5 GOLD BEARS
OH MY MY MY INDEED!! They are BIG! They are BAD! They are SEXY! They are STRONG! And OOOHHH BABY are they ever what you need! Terry has done it again! A SUPER bundle of SUPER Bears and the SUPER women that change their lives! Check out what I had to say about each of these BEARELICIOUS books by one BEARTACULAR Author!
Big Bad Bear #1 - She was everything he’d ever dreamed of. 5 BEAR PAWS UP
OH ZEUS, you Big Bad Bear, you!! WOW! Just...WOW! I cannot believe how intensely hot & sexy this story is while being funny, super romantic and ever-so-sweet at the same time!! It's a cliché, I know, and one I say often, but it has NEVER fit so perfectly before as it does now - Terry, you have truly outdone yourself with this one! I abso-frickin-lutely LOVED this story of Zeus & Carly's! This is a FANTASTIC story with great characters, the perfect shifter love story that had me from the cover. I immediately felt like I knew Carly, even was her a tiny bit, but definitely someone I wish I was more like in fact. Well, except for the bad luck growing up part, but considering where it led her... (I cannot wait to see Ares find his Mate and I really want to know Hades too!) I always love to see the big tough Alpha go all mushy for his mate. It adds another layer to the story and to the character as well, makes it more real. Of course, you do not ever want to become between a bear and his mate, but you would be crazy to come between a bear shifter named Zeus and his mate!! “Now they’d have to deal with the big, bad bear!” I LOVED the fact that there was a lot more shifter in it too! I think that is my favorite part about shifters - the relationship that the human has with the animal. Well, actually that is my SECOND most favorite feature of shifters, the first is the whole mate thing! I love that whole concept of the one person that fate, destiny, the gods, etc. has picked for you and has been made especially just. for. you. And you. for. them. Zeus would be that one for me. He is just so PAWFECT, so soft, so hard, so sweet, so grizzly. I think he would growl on me very quickly. I could bear the hardship of waking up to him every morning. It would be so beartastic to spend eternity with him. Furever & ever. Okay, I will stop the cheesiness and get down to the nitty grizzly, the bear bones of the story. HAAHAAHAHAAA *wipes tears from eyes* But seriously now, Terry has once again caught & held both my attention & my heart! For all of these reasons and more, Terry proves time and again, just how phenomenally talented she is! She has fast become one of my favorite authors and has become one of only a handful of my go-to shifter romance authors whose books I will be reading over & over, for many, many years to come!
Big Sexy Bear #2 - She would be his forever. 5 BEAR PAWS UP
She just didn’t know it yet. Her Ares. Her soldier. What an explosively hot & wonderful story!! Ares sure is one GRRRREAT hunk of meatloaf!! He is so very BEARGASMIC, like the gift that keeps on giving, and ..giving... coming... and coming... in all the most PAWSITIVELY right ways! I can't even begin to imagine what poor Kat & Mac have been through! Watching, okay reading, these big, bearly men go all protective, soft, caring, tender, etc. only adds more to the quality of the story. As Hades himself says "So, like Zeus, you’re getting all mushy over a mate?" It's even cooler to see how the gals change as well. In this case, to see 2 people so scared, then the Big Sexy Bear helping to make them both feel safe & protected around them...it is FURRIFIC to see Kat & Mac able to BE Kat & Mac again. That is the true beauty of the story and yet one more reason to love both this book & Terry! I actually loved how Terry focused the story on the here, now & future, leaving the pasts where they belong. Normally I would have been disappointed having parts left out, but it works so perfectly with the story theme and really does not take away from the story nor does it leave holes in it either. I love how each book of Terry's is so enriching, so loving, so PAWESOMELY ADORABEAR!! No matter how many you read, whether they have Bears, Wolves or Dragons, every single book is its own! Complete with new twists, surprises, a variety of how & when the “mating” happens, acceptance of the shifter side, one liners that are funny, hot, sexy, double meaning or all of the above, they help to enrich each story. They also add even more to the other PAWMAZING factors in every story - friendships, hot & sexy romance, finding The PAWFECT Mate that Destiny or Fate created just for you and helping to bring them together in the greatest way possible for each couple-to-be. Of course, this all points to the FANGTABULOUS talent of Terry!! Terry's way of telling each couples story, or I should say, the way each couples story plays out is unique to that couple. My point is, no matter how many of Terry's books I read, I fall in love with each and every one! I love that I only found Terry a few months ago because it means that I have lots to catch up on between each new release! Be prepared to be swept away into a world with hot & sexy males, the equally amazing women that they are destined to be with, at least according to their animal counterpart, and a world you won't ever want to leave! All in all, you can never go wrong with any book written by the phenomenally talented Terry Bolryder!

You have it, even when it was broken, you had it. WHOA BABY!!! Now this is one BEARRIFIC story! My heart broke & overflowed with happiness and love right along with Cassie and Hades. I could not wait for Hades' story! The Big Dude looking all hot & dangerous who, from the brief glimpses we saw of him in the other 2 books - Big Bad Bear & Big Sexy Bear - had no idea how to be discreet, delicate in his ways of talking and acting, this Tough Guy image...you just knew his mate & their road to Happily Ever After was going to be filled with lots of humps for them (pun fully intended!) and lots of tears, laughter & enjoyment! Hades was gonna fall hard & fast and I for one just had to be there for it! BUT WOW! As much as I thought on how this book would play out, I NEVER considered that Hades had already met & been with his mate Cassie!! I loved that twist as it gave the story a whole new & unique meaning making it even more BEARTABULOUS!! Cassie is one GRRRERRIFIC gal who I felt for as soon as her story started to play out. And I never realized just how scarred Hades was both inside and out. “Just being with her felt like healing.” Luckily he has one FANGTASTIC mate in Cassie! “It was a powerful force of nature, a bear’s call for its mate.” “Her fated mate had always been a very big, very strong bear.” I consider the “unpredictable” factor to be one of the signs of a GRRREAT story & author. Being able to keep each story fresh, exciting and unpredictable, time and again is the mark of a truly fantastic author. I feel that if I love (or hate) the characters, laugh & cry with and for them, as well as being able to see and experience their story along with them, then that is also a testament to the authors talent. Once again, Terry has created one massively PAWESOME hot & sexy romance that I couldn't put down! In fact, I finished it and... yup! I went back and read it again, it is THAT BEARTASTIC!! Terry is a phenomenally gifted author who has me instantly captivated right from the first glimpse of the cover all the way through to my two most 'hated' words in any great story - The End.

Bear shifters and former soldiers, oh my!
The main characters in these 3 stories are former Special Forces teammates Zeus, Ares and Hades. I liked how all of them were included in each story even while we see each one's separate romance. They each have issues to overcome. There is always at least one set of bad guys to be dealt with and I liked each mate too. There is action, character development, some steamy parts and sexy bear shifters in this series. What more could anyone want? Try it and see for yourself. Enjoy!

This boxes set was awesome. The stories revolve around 3 bear shifter special force buddies. They are out of the military and are trying to acclimate to civilian life. One by one they meet their mates and each story has them trying to keep and mate their mate. The last story is a second chance at love story always a favorite. You will love this set.

Steamy Hot Sexy as sin
Man this box set was Yummy. I realized reading ever single book. In this set. Who wouldn't want Three sexy soldier bears to treasure you and protect you and of course rescue you. I loved all the characters and their story. Terry Bolryder did a Magnificent job writing this box set. Definitely recommending this to everyone..

Terry writes good stories...?. NO. She writes great stories. I was amazed at the strong story line in this set of books. Not being sexist, but this story line I would have expected from a man not a woman, with soldiers of war and talk of weapons. The fight to win your mate at all costs.

Hot and sexy. I want a bear shifter for Christmas please LOL. I ate up every story, but the last was the hottest. I just have something for the bad boy who is wounded and vulnerable under the darkness. I would definitely bare my soul to that bad bear:)

sometimes, its hard to read a box set, as like life you like a mixture of stories and not the same storyline, but i really got into these books, as you can get into the storyline, the characters are believable, and well rounded, and an enjoyable read! Thank you!

Visual storylines
These stories have so much inspiration in them. From saving and finding mates to soldiers protecting and being there for each other after military life, that I didn't want to stop reading. Very visual writing storyline that kept me in tune with the books.

Yep! Another goody from Terry Bolryder. Don't think I've read a bad one yet. 3 retired, sort of, soldier bears, they were an elite team, still were, good friends too. Then their mates appear one by one. They need to use all their skills to protect them

I generally like Terry Bolryder's books. The plots are interesting and the grammar is great. The characters are pretty well-rounded.
My biggest complaint is with the descriptions of characters. I mean, if she describes a character as having blond hair and/or a blue/gray shade of eyes, I'm seeing a white person in my head, because those components aren't usually found in other races. Most other races have dark hair (black, brown, dark red) and not blue/gray eyes. Don't say green is indicative of a white person, because I've seen all shades of green in non-white people. So is it difficult to say what a character's race is? Just because the hero is blond/blue doesn't mean the I'm seeing a white person in the heroine. And I really want to see that character!
Okay, on to the review. This book contains 3 novellas each focusing on one of 3 ex-Special Forces guys who were in the shifter unit. The first one, Big Bad Bear, which centers on Zeus, isn't bad. I enjoyed both the action and the characters (but no description of Carly, except height, until the second chapter). It was quite a satisfactory story, though it was pretty much a damsel in distress trope. The plot had bad gang members threatening Carly because she heard extortion. Zeus (who was very well described almost as soon as he entered the story.) comes to save the day, and yadda yadda yadda. The action is compelling, and the love story is sweet. No extremes of emotion.
The second novella, Big Sexy Bear, focuses on Ares, the second ex-soldier, and Katrina, a woman he found at the side of the road with a disabled car. Katrina is running from some bad men. She doesn't say where she is going that would be any safer than Bearstone Village. She basically doesn't reveal anything except that the little blond boy she's traveling with is her late half-sister's son, and his father sent the bad guys. In the description of her I can't tell if she's a white or non-white person. Anyway, Ares is trying to charm her into staying in town, then the bad guys show up. Ares kills them all. I hate stupid as plot device, especially when the character has appeared to be rational and reasonably intelligent.
I haven't read the 3rd novella yet because I have to take a break from this world. I will probably come back and edit this review when/if I finish the book.
My biggest complaint is with the descriptions of characters. I mean, if she describes a character as having blond hair and/or a blue/gray shade of eyes, I'm seeing a white person in my head, because those components aren't usually found in other races. Most other races have dark hair (black, brown, dark red) and not blue/gray eyes. Don't say green is indicative of a white person, because I've seen all shades of green in non-white people. So is it difficult to say what a character's race is? Just because the hero is blond/blue doesn't mean the I'm seeing a white person in the heroine. And I really want to see that character!
Okay, on to the review. This book contains 3 novellas each focusing on one of 3 ex-Special Forces guys who were in the shifter unit. The first one, Big Bad Bear, which centers on Zeus, isn't bad. I enjoyed both the action and the characters (but no description of Carly, except height, until the second chapter). It was quite a satisfactory story, though it was pretty much a damsel in distress trope. The plot had bad gang members threatening Carly because she heard extortion. Zeus (who was very well described almost as soon as he entered the story.) comes to save the day, and yadda yadda yadda. The action is compelling, and the love story is sweet. No extremes of emotion.
The second novella, Big Sexy Bear, focuses on Ares, the second ex-soldier, and Katrina, a woman he found at the side of the road with a disabled car. Katrina is running from some bad men. She doesn't say where she is going that would be any safer than Bearstone Village. She basically doesn't reveal anything except that the little blond boy she's traveling with is her late half-sister's son, and his father sent the bad guys. In the description of her I can't tell if she's a white or non-white person. Anyway, Ares is trying to charm her into staying in town, then the bad guys show up. Ares kills them all. BIG BAD BEAR
Carly works at a run down bar to make ends meet. Then on a slow day Zeus walks in and orders a drink when he give her a hundred dollars. She has to go to her managers office to get change when she hears voices in his office threatening her boss. Carly tries to sneak back into the bar area without being heard but the floor creaked and the bad guys come out and start harassing her. Zeus comes to her rescue as they flee for their lives. Great story must read cannot wait to read the next installment..

Kat and her nephew Mac have been on the run from Mac's father Ben when her car breaks down she gets scared thinking Ben will find her, only to have Ares pull up and offer her a ride she declines until Ares sees Mac and tells her he can't leave her like this so she accepts. Ares k does this is his true mate and tries everything to win her heart and to become his. Great story line. I couldn't put my kindle fire down till I was done. Now to the next book Hades story. Need to read the entire series. Terry Bolryder has not disappointed me yet.

I LOVED THIS SERIES!
If you enjoy shifter romance, stop and Author Terry Bolryder's Soldier Bears Series. 3 great stories that have a great balance of action, adventure, handsome soldiers, mystery, romance and enough testosterone to make you squirm.
To let you know, I am not a fan of erotic content that spells everything out. I like to fill in the blanks with my own imagination. That being said, there is more here than I like but, the story is still well written and the characters pretty well developed. I fell a little in love with each soldier and really wanted to meet their strong and intelligent mates.
The main plot is a romantic boy rescues girl and girl gets boy. There is so much more. Each story is unique and each character different. This is no cookie cutter series. While each story could stand alone, you will get more pleasure by reading them in order.
I am happy to recommend this series to shifter romance adults everywhere. Go ahead and get this boxed set, I know I'm glad I did and you will be too. Happy reading.

Big strong bear shifters, all retired or returned military men who think they don't deserve or are read for mates. Well, Ms Bolryder thinks differently and after all--they are her creation. Each story has a touching batch of characters you will remember and root for, unforgettable. The guys have a very rough way of showing affections, but you will enjoy their humor and their strengths as well as their vulnerabilities.
A strong recommend. I received each of these single books from the author for an honest review. However, I love her stories and always buy the boxed set, which I have done again. This is a great deal from an author who never disappoints.

I read each one of these three books individually. After the first book I was hooked and waited impatiently for next ones to come out. Zeus, Ares and Hades are great heroes!. They may not talk much and may not be the best with women but they know how to protect the one they care for when she is in danger. Carly is saved by Zeus when she witnesses gangsters threaten her boss. Ares rescues Katrina and her nephew Mac when their car breaks down. He saves them from Mac's dad who is violent and abusive. Cassie goes to Hades for protection from a loan shark who wants more than his money.
Each man puts everything on the line to protect their new found mate.
