I FUCKING PASSED!!!!!!

First of all I would like to thank myself. You are a true wonder and inspiration. You fucking did this and had the self-motivation to complete a 5 hour long exam about all the classes you took in college A YEAR AFTER YOU GRADUATED.

I want to thank my family, friends, and coworkers that encouraged me and cheered me on.

Thank you to my therapist that helped me deal with my anxiety prior to this exam.

I guess thanks to Lindeburg. Your exam prep materials are expensive as shit but I see they get the job done.

Sorely needs an update after ten years. A number of chapters are poorly written. The Process Control chapter is especially bad—I could not figure out what the author was saying, and this was a class in which I excelled at university! Contains quite a bit of extraneous information that, while somewhat objectively useful, is not contained in the NCEES Handbook used during the test. Could have been significantly shorter than 800 pages. Most practice problems were either laughably easy, much harder than can be solved in 3 minutes, or just so horrendously presented and worded that there’s no hope of figuring out the “right” answer. A few of them, particularly in the thermodynamics section, required equations that I could not find in this book or in the NCEES Handbook—they're just plucked out of the blue! It’s sad that this is the consensus best FE study book out there.

Gave it two stars because it’s still a (merely) decent collection of a lot of information in one place—the only thing this book has going for it.

This guy got everything about biology wrong but the engineering stuff is mostly ok.

This is a large manual, but the Chemical Fundamentals exam is expansive. Until there's a 'Look Inside' for this book, here are the TOPIC headings.

Besides the book there is free web access. BE CAREFUL if you are purchasing the book used because there is a number inside the front page. It's not clear to me whether this is a use-once number or not. I have an email to the publisher to find out, I will update if they get back to me. In the meantime I would verify with any seller that the number hasn't been used.

This review book begins like many of it's brethren by giving you an idea of what work is ahead, a sample prep schedule, and hints and tricks about not only how to use this book, but also take the on-line exam.

Past that you'll find a short Diagnostic math exam. Surprisingly, it's not that hard .AND. therein lays my only pertinent complaint with this book. The Diagnostic test doesn't cover all the things you'll need to know. There is not one calculus problem. And yet, you'll be covering differentials and integrals shortly.

I liked the math section --the one I'm most qualified to assess. The layout is eye-friendly and the problems are clearly described and worked out.
