After the luck I've been having with zombie books I expected this to fall into the same disappointing list, I'm so glad it didn't!
It was actually pretty enjoyable, I liked the backstory of the mc, it created a bit of extra suspense in a way. I was wondering throughout the book if he was gonna snap or if there was something wrong with him etc, nicely done.
The zombies in this are not bad either, the reasoning behind them a bit whack but hey it's all fiction anyway.
The ending was pretty sudden but not a bad cliffy perse.
Really good zombie novel. Reads just like The Walking Dead comics except it's not Rick Grimes with his team of cohorts. I would say that there were some parts that were definitely TWD inspired. Easy to read, fast paced, and the suspense just makes you want to keep turning the page. Highly recommended.
