Fun, romantic, sexy, poignant...Christmas in Destiny is a must read for anyone who loves holiday themed stories, and a must, must read for fans of the Destiny series. Toni Blake really outdid herself, giving her readers a treat we won't soon forget...a chance to revisit Destiny, Ohio, and spend time with the people we've come to love.
Be sure to add this to your holiday reading list. It works as a stand alone, but I must tell you...this is one of my favorite contemporary romance series'. In other words, don't wait for Christmas to read this book . Grab book 1 and prepare to be swept away...and be sure to have a fan and a glass of ice water handy 'cuz it's hot! Just sayin'....

GUYS! We have another Destiny book! When I learned that Toni Blake was returning to Destiny, Ohio to write another book, I rejoiced! Blake’s Destiny series is easily one of my favorite Contemporary Romance series. If you like small town romances that are sweet, then you’ll love this series. But what’s so amazing about this series is that Blake writes amazingly sexy heroes and the sex in this books are exceptional hot. They borderline Erotic Romance sometimes and well, a girl cannot complain about that! So I was thrilled to see she would be writing another book. Plus, it’s a Christmas-themed one and absolutely loved HOLLY LANE.
In this book, we have Shane Dalton who is on his way to Miami after seeing his father. His father rattles him, but what’s more unsettling is the fact that his dying words were for him to visit Destiny, Ohio. Shane hasn’t a clue what is waiting for him there, but he goes anyway and gets caught in a blizzard. Car wrecked and lost, Shane goes to the nearest house to find shelter.
There he meets Candice Sheridan, a sweet woman with nervous personality. Candice is naturally wary of this stranger, but eventually she gives him shelter for the night. It’ll be the last she’ll see of him. Or, that’s what she thinks.
CHRISTMAS IN DESTINY has everything I want in a great book. There’s a fabulous balance of sexy and sweet. Both the hero and heroine are lovely and relatable. Plus there are side characters and romances that bring something a little bit extra to the main storyline.utc-top-pick
Blake creates wonderful banter between the main couple and the other friendly characters in the town. It was so easy for me to fall in love with them. The sense of community in this book is very strong and it also adds to the cheery nature of a Christmas book.
But I think my favorite part of this book might actually be the ending. Everything comes full circle in this book. What Blake does with this story is truly inspiring. I laughed, I swooned, I cried. And the tears weren’t even before of sadness. They were tears of happiness because this book touched me down to my very soul. Not many authors can do that but I can always count on Toni Blake to deliver a stellar book.
If you haven’t read this series yet, I highly suggest you check it out. This book looks like it’s the end of the series (which totally breaks my heart because I wish there were infinite stories set in this world!) so you can jump right in and enjoy!

As a dying request, Shane Dalton's father asks him to visit Destiny, Ohio. Shane doesn't know why his father wanted him to visit this town, but he decides to stop there on his way to Miami for a new job. When a freak snowstorm comes up, Shane's truck slides off the road and he finds himself stranded. He walks to the nearest home and wakes up Candice Sheridan. Candice is reluctant to let him in, but finally relents. She thinks Shane is bad news and wants nothing to do with him. But she soon finds that the damage to Shane's truck means he'll be sticking around town until his wheels are fixed.
I finished Toni's Blake's Destiny series several years ago and didn't know she had added another book. I read the reviews and saw that many readers like this book. Unfortunately, I wasn't one of them. This story dragged for me. Shane seemed like a nice guy and I liked the other characters in the book, but I had problems with Candice's attitude toward him. Candice didn't trust Shane and treated him badly because her old boyfriend left her years ago and now she didn't trust men. She kept calling him a "scary stranger" for the first 100+ pages of the book. Finally, she decided he was a nice guy and she couldn't decide if she should have sex with him. Her inner monologue just went on and on about the situation until the middle of the book. The second half of the book was a little more interesting, but the reason Shane's father wanted him to visit the town was obvious from the start. My rating: 2 Stars.

It was so WONDERFUL to be back in Destiny with the cast and crew! What a fabulous story and wonderful romance that so beautifully captured not just the true holiday spirit, but also life in small town Ohio (based on my own experience!)...I simply gobbled this book up and feel that bittersweet pang now that it is over... sigh....what a fantastic story! :-)

It was nice to revisit Destiny and the leads from previous books; but neither Candice and Shane or their story could hold my interest. I gamely held on until Shane's meeting his mother, but once that happened I didn't feel compelled to read any further. I simply didn't care.
I've read and enjoyed other works by Toni Blake; but have found that her books variy wildly in quality.

Shane's father died and on his deathbed told Shane he needed to go to Destiny. Since he was driving to Miami for a job, Shane decides to stop off and try to figure out why his dad wanted him to go there. So, snow happens and he wrecks his truck. The closest house happened to belong to Candice.
Candice had her heart broken 5 years ago. Since then she's become somewhat of a recluse, working from home, not too involved in the town of Destiny. Although, that was slowly changing before Shane's arrival, she became more involved after.
This started out slow for me. By around page 70ish I know who Shane was going to turn out to be. I thought Candice was too moopey and she gave her ex way too much power. BUT, the characters and this small town keep me reading anyway. Characters from previous books make appearances. Grampy and Edna! Anita and Walter! I loved how Shane jumped in and helped. He fit in.
By the end of the book, I liked Candice more. I did think the ending was rushed and would have liked more there. I still cried; happy tears.
I was glad to see this book (had thought series ended at book 6- 3 years ago).

It’s been a few years since the last Destiny story came out and I honestly thought the series was over. But when I heard Christmas in Destiny was being released I knew it was going to be a great installment to add to this wonderfully written series and Toni Blake didn’t disappoint. Blake takes us back to Destiny, Ohio where it’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas. The snow is falling, ginger bread is being made and the hot chocolate keeps flowing.
On Shane’s father’s death bed he told Shane to go to Destiny that something was waiting for him there. As to what it might be, Shane has no idea but takes the trip anyway. But when a blizzard has him wrecking his truck and staying with a complete stranger, his plans to get to Miami are put on hold until his truck is fully fixed. What Shane didn’t plan on was meeting a lovely woman with a big heart and joining in with the community festivities. Every day he is there brings him closer to staying but when someone from his past who he thought he had forgotten comes into the picture again Shane has a choice to make. Will he stay in Destiny or will the new life waiting for him in Miami win?
After Candice let Shane spend the night she is relieved when he leaves the next morning. She might have been attracted to him but he has trouble written all over him and Candice has been there and done that with her ex. The last thing she needs is to have her heart broken again, but when Shane sticks around while having his truck fixed the more she gets to know him the more she likes him. Candice finds out that Shane isn’t all bad and the pull to him is growing stronger. She knows there is a chance he will decide to leave for good but she is hoping to give him more reasons to stay and make Destiny his new home.
I’m sure Candice might have made appearances in the previous books since she is Tessa’s cousin, but while reading I honestly didn’t remember her. I can say I am glad she ended up getting her own story. I really enjoyed her character, she was funny, weary and yet had one of the best hearts in a heroine that I have read in a long time. Shane was the bad boy who was really good. I mean he’s a stranger in this town and I think he must have helped every character in the book with something at some point. Once he put on the Santa suit he totally won my heart.
One thing I love about the Destiny series is how close the community is. Everyone is so nice and helpful it honestly makes me wish that I lived there. Blake really showed in this story how a community can really come together to help their friends. I found it heartwarming and really loved how everyone pulled together so close to Christmas when people are usually running around taking care of their last minute shopping and what not.
While Shane and Candice might be new characters to me I enjoyed them a lot. I felt that they were well developed and very likable. They might seem so different at first but believe it or not these two had stuff in common that just helped them really connect. The romance was sweet and left me grinning.
Of course the previous characters all make an appearance which was one of my favorite parts of this story. It was great catching up with them to see what had changed over the years and it made me realize how much I have missed reading about each and every one of them. The ending had me in tears and was another favorite part of mine because it looks like the Destiny series is coming to an end with how Blake did the epilogue and I have to say it was really fantastic and unexpected. If you love contemporary romances as much as I do and you haven’t yet picked up this series I suggest you do that as soon as possible because you won’t want to miss Christmas in Destiny which I highly recommend to add to your TBR list.

Shane Dalton is getting a fresh start in Miami and can’t wait to leave Montana for warmer weather. His father recently passed away and his dying request was for Shane to go to Destiny because ‘something is there for you.’ Since it was on his way to Miami he thought he would check it out. What he didn’t count on is being stranded there due to a blizzard and a wrecked pickup truck. He seeks shelter for the night with Candace Sheridan, who reluctantly gave it but only after he saved her cat from the snowstorm. She felt he was trouble and was glad to see him leave the next day. Only when she sees him in town later, and all the crazy feelings start up again. Now they are thrown together to plan the town Christmas party at a new location.
From the beginning and all throughout this story, it was filled with all the characters from the other novels all working together to make a wedding happen by Christmas Eve. The whole community makes the most of the holiday season and I got swept up into festivities. While the cleanup is coming along Candace is being coaxed to try a holiday fling with Shane and we get to understand why she feels the way she does. I like how she evolved over the course of the story and became a stronger, outgoing person, and a little wiser where her feelings are concerned. Both Shane and Candace were developed characters and how the small tentative steps grew into something more for both of them. What was a bonus for me was the other budding romance between two older people who are friends but never thought beyond their friendship. With Shane’s encouragement he put a bug in Grampy’s bonnet and he went for it. That put a smile on my face.
Knowing that Shane was sent to Destiny on a ‘mission’ wasn’t hard to figure out what it was about but it was very touching and heartfelt. Can’t explain more than that but just let me tell you that it was well written and showed the resilience of the heart. It definitely pulled this story together with a beautiful ending. I loved it! I thought that the when the series ended years ago that we wouldn’t be back but Ms. Blake wrote a new story that reminds me how much I love this town and the people who live there. The Destiny series is by far one of my favorite contemporary series because she has written such wonderful and diverse characters and love stories that feel genuine. With each chapter beginning with quotes from my favorite holiday movie, It’s a Wonderful Life, it just ties it together with the chapters and makes it more holiday festive. If you haven’t read this series you have to grab it and sit down for a pleasant good time.

Shane Dalton is ready to face his new life in Miami, with a new job, fast cars and fast women. But first, he has to make a quick detour in Destiny, Ohio because of his father's dying last words - that something is waiting for him there.
With now much, but the clothes on his back and a couple of dollars in his pocket, Shane finds himself broken down in Destiny in a middle of a snowstorm standing on Candice Sheridan's doorsteps.
The last thing Candice expected was for a strange man to be pounding on her door in the middle of the night, worse? He is inviting himself to stay the night because his car has been in an accident. Candice doesn't want a strange man staying at her home where she lives alone, but the stranger saves her cat when he runs off into the snowstorm, and she allows him to stay from the kindness of her heart.
Now Shane must find what his father was talking about, even if the only clue he has is what was in his father's last dying breath. But it's almost Christmas time and the town and with it's people are slowly growing on him.
This was a really lovely romantic read for the holidays. I really adored Candice with her big, kind heart for allowing herself to get close to Shane even if she knew that there was a HUGE possibility that he was going to leave like he had planned.
I also adored all the town's festivities they had planned for Christmas. With a Christmas wedding to a small little thing for the kids, Destiny sounded like a really cozy place.
The secondary characters were really amazing as well. I loved the way Shane encouraged Grampy to pursue his love interest, no matter what age. I did enjoy the whole air of mystery around Shane, even if it wasn't that hard to figure out and the author hints at it really early in the book. I was really curious how it all turns out.

I really really wanted to like this book. Maybe I had higher expectations for it than I should have had because of all of the 5 star reviews I saw on Amazon. I should start off by saying that this was the first book by Toni Blake that I have ever read. I know that there is a whole series of books before this one and that they're all set in Destiny, Ohio. Maybe that was where I went wrong. I usually am a stickler for reading all the novels in a series in order. But this novel had really good reviews and I wanted to read a fun Christmas romance before Christmas, so I went with it and figured that if I liked it, I'd go back and read all the other books in the series.
Now the basic story line was kind of predictable and has been done before, but if it ain't broke why fix it? My biggest issue was that, from the very beginning, I didn't like either of the main characters very much. Candice had her heart broken 5 years earlier by some douche bag who treated her like crap and stole all her cash and jewelry. Now I totally understand falling for the wrong guy. I've done that myself a few times. But holding onto it for FIVE YEARS and still thinking back on parts of the relationship with fondness when the guy was definitely the worst? Um no. Spending a year being down in the dumps about men, okay I can believe that, maybe even two years. But five? No, I'm sorry, that's ridiculous. And not only has Candice not dated or even had a casual fling with anyone in five years but she's kept herself distant from all of her neighbors in the small town where everyone cares about each other and knows everything about each other. I just don't see small town people letting her stay distant from them. Not with the way the author wrote the characters.
The "hero," Shane, believes himself to be trouble because that's what his father told him when his mother "abandoned" him when he was nine. I won't give away any major spoilers, but this guy is obviously not trouble. In the scenes where he's having inner dialogue with himself (so the reader can know his backstory), Shane tells us that his father didn't do honest work so Shane made it a point to get honest work. Guys who are 'trouble' don't do that. I get that his childhood was rough with being separated from his mom, and his dad being dishonest about pretty much everything, but even as the story progresses, Shane still insists that he's trouble when he's done nothing but help everyone around him, be gentlemanly to all the women folk, sweet with every child he encounters and makes friends with all the men. I just don't see someone being that dense about themselves. A person makes a choice to be good or bad. He was obviously choosing to be good so why would he keep saying that he's trouble? And believing it?! This goes right up to the second to the last chapter of the book. And then when he finally realizes that he's not trouble, we don't even get to read about it! He just shows back up in town after the last thing we read that was from his point of view is that he knows he's trouble and needs to go to Miami. I know that the author has him explain to everyone later how and why he decided to come back, but I would have liked to read his epiphany moment from his perspective. Especially after all the griping and moaning about how much trouble he believed himself to be.
My other issue was with the sex scenes. I'm not complaining about the act of sex in the book. Sex is a given in romance novels. It was more of the way they were written I guess. I know that there are all different kinds of positions. So why, when putting four different sex scenes in the story, were they always doing it doggy style? If you're gonna make me read about the characters having sex four times, why would you not switch it up more often? It was like the author had one, go-to layout of how sex could happen and used the same one three outta four times. And not just the actual act was the same but the foreplay and everything in between. The second time they did it, I thought that maybe Shane was reliving the first time over in his head before I realized that the characters were actually having sex and it was just the same process again.
This wasn't the worst book I've read but it was no where near the best either. I'll never read this one again and I doubt I'll ever read any other novels written by Toni Blake.

Every chapter of CHRISTMAS IN DESTINY begins with a line from the classic “It’s a Wonderful Life”, which is Candice’s favourite Holiday movie, and while CHRISTMAS IN DESTINY is in some ways reminiscent of the Christmas classic, it is in no way a retelling.
Candice has had her heart seriously broken, and she hasn’t really thought about doing anything about her semi-reclusive state. Shane, while being a total cynic and not really gregarious, goes with the flow as the kindness of the Destiny residents leaves him nonplussed; he has never been around people who were so accepting. Without saying any more, both Candice and Shane slowly come around, and what a marvellous story it is! While everybody expects the romance to happen, it is anything but predictable, and there are quite a few twists and turns. There are a few very pleasant surprises, one of which is a second romance, which is just fabulous as well. CHRISTMAS IN DESTINY is light and fun, but also quite intense and profound, but never coma-inducing; Ms. Blake knows precisely the dose of sweetness required to make the whole confection perfectly delectable. Ms. Blake captures the real meaning of Christmas while Shane and Candice let go of their fears and accept that they might have been wrong in choosing their respective paths.
CHRISTMAS IN DESTINY is superbly written, the characters are all very well defined, and long-time readers of the series will catch up with old favourites, while newcomers will make endearing new friends; who could resist Grampy! While CHRISTMAS IN DESTINY is a real Christmas story, it is so wonderful that it would be a treat any time of the year! And don’t forget your cup of hot chocolate before you let Toni Blake take you away!

CHRISTMAS IN DESTINY by Toni Blake is my first visit to Destiny, Ohio, but it won’t be my last. Destiny was warm and welcoming with a nice community feeling where everyone pitches in to help one another, and everyone knows one another and has some sort of connection. Although this is the seventh book in the series, I didn’t feel lost and could easily sort out the characters. I look forward to reading the rest of the series so I can get to know each of them a little better.
Candice and Shane meet unexpectedly during a major snowstorm after he wrecks his truck and walks to her house late at night to use the phone. Given the weather and the snow that’s still falling, he’s not going anywhere, much to her chagrin. Candice, or Candy or Candy Cane, as Shane playfully calls her is reticent to let him in. But once she does–in more ways than one–she definitely doesn’t want to let him go. They have immediate chemistry, and when they both give in to it, there are definitely sparks flying. Grampy, who gives Shane a place to stay, is quite a character and much beloved in the town. Shane ends up surprising us and those in Destiny a time or two but is still fixated on getting to the new job that’s waiting for him in Miami. The quotes from It’s a Wonderful Life at the start of each chapter gave a little hint of what was to come.
Family and friends, secrets and loss, happiness and laughter fill this book. My emotions were involved from the first page to the last, all set with the backdrop of Christmas. The tree lighting ceremony and the quickly thrown together party that was held at Miss Ellie’s house was heartwarming with so many activities that made me feel like I was there.
There are wonderful descriptions of the buildings, the community, the weather and the events which unfold. The characters were multidimensional with many layers to them, detailing what made them tick. A secret was unraveled and there were twists and turns to the story. There was wonderful closure that I didn’t see coming, and the short epilogue that takes place a year later was the icing on the cake, especially the way it was presented.
Toni Blake is a new-to-me author that I don’t know how I’ve missed. I’ve added some of her books to my always growing TBR pile, not only those in the Destiny series. A great book you’ll more than enjoy.

If you love the other Destiny books, you will also enjoy this book.
If you love a holiday romance book to snuggle up with next to the fire then this is the book for you.
Toni really helps you to connect with her characters in this book and the whole series. You will find yourself knowing all about the residents and town of Destiny. Their home, their fears, and their happiness really feels like your own.
So much so, that they will feel like your book family.
This is a fairly typical Toni Blake romance novel. Bad boy & good girl romance. Secrets and conflicts that they must overcome to have a happy ending.
There is a bit of foreshadowing right away in the book. Which leaves the reader wanting to scream out to the characters in the book that you know the answers and can help them. However, you will want to keep reading to see how things work out for Candice & Shane.
A few steamy love scenes but not enough to take away from the plot.
All in all I loved this book. I would suggest reading the whole series if you haven't already. But if you're wanting a holiday romance to read right now, start with this one then follow up with the other Destiny books.

I will start out saying that I've never read any of the other Destiny books but this book has caused me to start in reading the rest of them. Despite not having read these books previously, Christmas in Destiny was absolutely a joy to read. I wasn't confused by the other characters from previous books interactions an with the main characters. The main characters, Shane and Candice, were well written characters that you really wanted to have a happy ending together. By the end of this book I really cared about the town of Destiny and all the people in it.

GUYS! We have another Destiny book! When I learned that Toni Blake was returning to Destiny, Ohio to write another book, I rejoiced! Blake’s Destiny series is easily one of my favorite Contemporary Romance series. If you like small town romances that are sweet, then you’ll love this series. But what’s so amazing about this series is that Blake writes amazingly sexy heroes and the sex in this books are exceptional hot. They borderline Erotic Romance sometimes and well, a girl cannot complain about that! So I was thrilled to see she would be writing another book. Plus, it’s a Christmas-themed one and absolutely loved HOLLY LANE.
In this book, we have Shane Dalton who is on his way to Miami after seeing his father. His father rattles him, but what’s more unsettling is the fact that his dying words were for him to visit Destiny, Ohio. Shane hasn’t a clue what is waiting for him there, but he goes anyway and gets caught in a blizzard. Car wrecked and lost, Shane goes to the nearest house to find shelter.
There he meets Candice Sheridan, a sweet woman with nervous personality. Candice is naturally wary of this stranger, but eventually she gives him shelter for the night. It’ll be the last she’ll see of him. Or, that’s what she thinks.
CHRISTMAS IN DESTINY has everything I want in a great book. There’s a fabulous balance of sexy and sweet. Both the hero and heroine are lovely and relatable. Plus there are side characters and romances that bring something a little bit extra to the main storyline.
Blake creates wonderful banter between the main couple and the other friendly characters in the town. It was so easy for me to fall in love with them. The sense of community in this book is very strong and it also adds to the cheery nature of a Christmas book.
But I think my favorite part of this book might actually be the ending. Everything comes full circle in this book. What Blake does with this story is truly inspiring. I laughed, I swooned, I cried. And the tears weren’t even before of sadness. They were tears of happiness because this book touched me down to my very soul. Not many authors can do that but I can always count on Toni Blake to deliver a stellar book.
If you haven’t read this series yet, I highly suggest you check it out. This book looks like it’s the end of the series (which totally breaks my heart because I wish there were infinite stories set in this world!) so you can jump right in and enjoy!

Solid holiday story. Light and easy feel-good story.
I gave it three stars because it didn't wow me. At times the redundancy of internal thoughts was a bit much as I was ready to move forward to the next challenge, opposition or breakthrough. It was a cute story but stayed on the surface of the bigger issues when I wanted it to explore deeper.
Spoilers:
Shane's dad sends him to this random town for some mysterious reason. I get he was on his deathbed and maybe not thinking clearly, but to send Shane there with nothing more to go on and believing on happenstance he'd run into his mother was a gamble. Even after being stuck there it took him a long time to cross paths with her. For the sake of us having a novel to read, that works. But, come on, dad. At least tell Shane he had to drop into the bar to help him cross paths with mom.
Candy was hurt over bad boys. I get that. Don't want to hook up with random dude who's leaving? I get that. But why so rude? I guess it's the set up of hate and bantering really meaning you love the person.
Finally, the end. Shane needed to process all the feels and make his own decision so he really does leave. He gets pretty far with little to no sleep... Then drives back in time with little to no sleep... Was that enough time for all that travel?
Then he gets back and it's all over. Wrapped up in a few pages. But I wanted more of what I didn't get earlier, which is Anita's side of what happened that would have broken up her relationship with Shane's dad which led to the extreme action if dad kidnapping his son, never to be seen again. Dad left the world with no explanation, okay. Happens. But maybe Anita could've mentioned what the last argument(s) were about before the kidnapping?
Anyway, I enjoyed the holiday read overall but just wanted a bit more depth and answers.

For years Candice has kept a part of herself walled off, not ready to open her heart after being betrayed, but from the time that Shane shows up on her porch looking for help she slowly loses her defenses. Shane had no intention of staying long in Destiny, Ohio but when his truck breaks down in the middle of a snow storm he has no choice but to stay. Having recently lost his father he's ready for a new start in Florida but something about Candice and this intriguing town keeps him hanging around. As he learns more about his childhood and his past can Candice keep herself from falling for Shane or will he leave her behind to start a new life? Another sweet read from Toni Blake in the Destiny series with lots of great secondary and supporting characters making appearances. Fun read!

I have not yet read any of the Destiny books. I found this book while trying to read some Christmas romance to get me in the mood for Santa and snow.
This book was super cute. I enjoyed the story very much as far as Christmas type books go, a lot of them are cheesy and unrealistic. Toni took the time to make us care about the characters and their lives. It def had its up and downs. Worth a read if your looking for a little Christmas spirit :)

This is a perfect Christmas story. Sometimes the trouble that knocks on your door at night in a snowstorm is not always bad. Shane Dalton decided to make a quick stop in a town called Destiny because of his father’s last words and that stop changed his life. Can you always believe what you are told or should you decide on your own? Candice Sheridan had opened that door, that snowy night, and decided to make a choice. Her choice was a good one.

All the other books in the series, the main characters came from previous books, so this one seemed a little random at first with characters I’d never heard of. However, it didn’t take long to figure out exactly how they fit into the storyline and it was all pretty predictable from there. Still a sweet little hallmark Christmas love story.

I enjoyed reading Christmas in Destiny. A good book to read sitting by the fire with your mug of hot chocolate - the favored drink in Destiny at Christmas! It's a heart warming small town story of romance and Christmas magic.

I haven't read any other books by this author. I picked this book up at a used book store. I loved the description of the little town and it's Holiday celebrations. The characters were not fully developed but it was a nice storyline.

Small-town romance. Candace doesn't trust easily, but she is drawn to Shane. Shane' s dying father told him something was waiting for him in Destiny, so he's just passing through. A holiday romance and a secret at Christmas.

This was a great book to read right around the holidays. It was obvious that this was just one in the series as other couples were sprinkled liberally throughout. But it was a good standalone as well. The story was a sweet romance with some predictability, but still charming to read.

Heartfelt!!!! I absolutely love small town stories and the closeness of the community. Shane is looking for a fresh start and Candice is still heatbroken. The community shows Shane the unexpected and brings out his caring side. Candice shows him alot more than the spitit of Christmas. Shane definitely gets a Christmas he will never forget. This is an absolute beautiful Christmas story and is very well written. The story flows together perfectly. This is a must read Christmas Story. I'm looking forward to reading more books by Toni Blake.

I enjoyed the relationship between Candice and Shane in Christmas in Destiny. I also liked visiting Destiny and the characters from the prior books.

The family reunion was the best part of the book. The smut was decent but I just struggled trying to finish the story. As a couple I didnot connect with them.
