But the handsome scion of one of the French Quarter's most prominent families is harboring secrets that run as deep as the mist-shrouded bayou. And now one of the guests has disappeared into the swamp during an alligator-sighting expedition.
Scooping the story could be Cora's ticket to the big time—but when murder enters the equation, suspicion falls on Ethan. Can she trust the attraction they share? Is he the one leaving unsettling floral arrangements in her room? As Cora works to uncover the truth, a second fatality is discovered. Ethan's future and Cora's heart hang in the balance—and a ruthless killer is determined to silence her forever…

Loved the storyline set in old Louisiana, post-Katrina and the engaging characters Cora Dearing and Ethan Galen. A really good mystery, with a surprising twist. Reading the second book now and its as good as the first one.
This book is interesting, intriguing, easy to read a page turner and hated to put this book down. I highly recommend this book and will read again and have.
