Twisted and Broken

Rate this book
The first time I see her...she attempts to seduce and kill me.

A minute later...I notice the tattoo on her wrist.

Fifteen minutes later...I'm holding her hostage.

When thirty-six hours pass by- I finally know who she is...and I have to keep her identity a secret.

After a week together...she's driving me insane.

After 2 weeks together...she's making me smile.

After a month together...I'm feeling things I swore I would never let myself feel again.

And the second I realized I loved her...was the moment I knew I had to let her go.

This book is part of a 4 book series:
Twisted Fate (Book One)
Twisted Wrath (Book Two)

5 stars all the way (Some slight spoilers ahead!!)
First off, this book was a great way to end the series.
It almost seemed to come "full circle" although it wasn't dark like Twisted Wrath or even Twisted Love. I actually loved that about this book! ( I mean, I can't lie, I really love the way Ashley Jade writes her dark stuff, but I equally love her lighter writing as well.)
I literally was laughing out loud at the "domesticated" life that Tristan (former mobster and Cartel guy) was living and although "little Moe" was only a baby...I thought she was adorable.

-The few comedy scenes in this were unexpected but so very hilarious. (One of my many fav lines: "I wasn't aware there were Amish communities in California".) Yup- that's my girl, Dev....calling it like she see's it.

Now on to the good stuff:

-At first, I didn't like Trinity! (gasp) but I don't think we were "supposed" to. I think AJ did a good job of making her very different from Dev (who will alwayssss be one of my favorite heroines of all time.)
However Trinity reallyyy grew on me throughout the story and after bits of her own past were revealed (Yeah, I definitely had to take a deep breath during that part) I couldn't help but feel sorry for her and understand her more.

- I like the change that she went through as well. And in the end, she fought like hell for her man (Moe) and didn't let anything get in her way.

Now on to Moe.

- I seriously just want to wrap my arms around this big, bearded man! He's so sensitive and hard at the same time and he's been through so much I just want to hold him and tell him everything will be okay.

- I thought the fact that he was a widow was woven very well into this story. It didn't overwhelm the bulk of it, nor did it take away from his budding romance with Trinity (and hats off to Trinity for the way she handled everything relating to Alana. It was one of the things that made me like her more!)
-I actually got misty-eyed during the cemetery scene as well.

- I really liked Moe's character in general (I always have) and I like being inside his head. And I thought one of the most pivotal scenes was after the "truth comes out" he basically took Trinity's side and stood up for her. I mean, for all 3 books Moe's been nothing but loyal to Tristan and Dev so it was interesting to see him go "against them" and as much as I hated it....I really understood it.

That was the moment (at least in my mind) when I felt like he truly fell in love with Trinity.

The romance aspect:

- LOVED it! I'm a big sucker for the opposites attract and the "can't stand them at first" and the sudden "flip of the switch".
- The sex scenes were hot, hot, hot and yet at the same time, very natural.
-Seriously...it has to be said. Moe is like the best gift giver like ever!!

Misc things that I liked:
- Trinity being (for the most part) this very light and happy heroine. (She was so different from the 3 of them and it made it work)
- Trinity and Tristan's relationship. I liked what he did for her at the end. He knew he couldn't stop her, so he wanted to protect her the best way a "big brother" could.

-Dev and Trinity. I lovedddddd how they hated one another and that once the truth was revealed...boom Dev's instincts go into overdrive.

- Moe and Tristan's "bromance". Seriously, the last conversation that they had was amazing. And you could feel the love between the both of them.

- The ending. It didn't drag on forever. It ended up being really beautiful, natural and really relatable. I like how their future is left a little "up in the air" and that Moe said that he wants to "grow" with her. That's what a relationship is and it ended at a really good place with them.

Dammit, I'm going to miss the heck out of these characters.

From Tragedy to Love

This book is wonderfully good. It has edged, drama, and suspense about what's going to happen to the characters. Moe and Trinity are two hurt and sad beautiful souls that have to deal with their past and future. When they try to have some form of normalcy a situation strikes and brings them to the for front of it. Moe and Trinity have to decide what to do and see if they're still Twisted and Broken.

WOW! Loved this story. Twisted and broken will keep you turning the pages until the end. This book is full of suspense, action, mystery, twist and turns, heartache, love, romance and plenty of sparks. The journey of Moe and Trinity will have you holding your breath, screaming, laughing and crying with them. I absolutely love Moe and Trinity and the chemistry between the two OMG is so freaking hot that you need a fan to cool down. Ashley Jade is an amazing writer and makes you feel connected to the characters. I highly recommend reading the Twisted series and you will not be disappointed.

Twisted & broken

5*
Moe meets Trinity when she poses as a mob girl. Trinity hasn’t had a good life she was adopted then has been brainwashed by her supposedly real mother! Moe needs to find out if her story is true, and what effect it will have on those he cares for?
Amazing book.

Ah!! Moe got a book of his own!!

I love Moe! And thank you for giving him his own book.

That said, why must you make me worry that he won't be happy? Not saying he will to those of you that haven't read it yet. You have to read to know what I'm talking about! Trinity, oh how I love that Trinity is badass. I can't even tell you how amazing this book is.

Omg I'm flying through all of Ashley's books and loving it. Outstanding author who knows how to write a very good book. No. Not great. I lied. Excellent.

This was the final book in the fate series but this time it was Moe's story. And what a story it was. But hey. It's not my story to tell. It's Moe's. So go on. Go read.
